A Late First post for me, i had a lot of problems this week with note detection, broken string and work blah blah blah but heres the best i did in the little time i had, I'd like to say i'll do better next week but I am being sent to Germany on Monday, with no guitar :( oh well you never know i might get some time when i get back, later,

Managed to squeeze a little more out of it, was aiming for 99%+ but I always seemed to misplay some notes I thought I had mastered. I really like this concept of a weekly competition, as it promotes practice and lets you know where you are as a guitarist. Seeing some of the Metallica scores with a low play count you guys hit was pretty inspiring. Have a good weekend everyone, see y'all next week

Hi, folks. The latest hotfix (10-22-2016) is in the first post. Changes are as follows: *Added a 2/4 option to the "Beat>Time Signature" menu. *Added a Y hotkey to "Note>Simplify chords". *Added logic so that if all lyrics in a lyric line are moved, the lyric line moves with them. The new logic that can automatically move lyric lines can be expanded to move other section types (ie. tremolo, arpeggio, handshape), let me know if this would be desired (ie. a preference to be enabled) or if you find any bugs with this feature.

Tonight i will mostly playing bass, can't get The Megadeth song to work, but the others are all fun....... I also got 100% on Pink but i lost the screenshot somewhere, good excuse to play it again though :rolleyes:

Eb drop Db tuning, tune again and best is to use the mini tuner in game (pause menu) and tune it slighlty lower. I had the same issue while testing, but after retuning it was much better. Just for fun you also can try the advanced bass, with only 4 it's very easy and enjoyable.

Apologies for off topic - but just an FYI / PSA about finding what's eating space on your computer, this tool - http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/ - is freeware, brilliant and works on winxp-win10 and can be run from a thumb drive if you prefer to carry handy utilities around with you. Just remember to run it as admin (rightclick the .exe)

The flipped pic actually is a free workout lesson for you and by that my bd gift for you... . Lift monitor . Straighten arms . Rotate counterclockwise 90deg . Return to zero . Rotate clockwise 90deg . Read acc and streak . Return to zero . Put monitor on desk . Repeat 10 times (I really hope you run on CRT) ;)

I've never tried bandhub, but I was messing around with using the Rocksmith cable as a microphone on Rock band, to do the vocal parts. I found that, for whatever reason, the Rocksmith cable would not be recognized, but the Band Fuse cable would. So it may just be that you need a different cable than the Rocksmith one. Regular electric guitar USB cables are only around $10 on Amazon, so getting a different cable shouldn't cost too much.

I did find the issue, I for some reason didn't have that in my root folder for Rocksmith, thank you very much Nice u got your basic instructions. Link to basics is also in front page of this topic. After you remove listed crashers, same namers(can be fixed), duplicates in your dlc folder u propably will only crash only about 1/500 songs nowdays. Next time when you start crash often is when u have messed your save and it happens after 10000+ songs, but then crash occurs after you have played song (save crash) Crashers and same namers (and many others issues) must be removed manually, but duplicates(same song*x times in dlc folder can be found fast by using cozy1 tools. Cozy1 tools can fix also messed (poorly synced or just too large) save. Link and basic info about tool also in front page. Highly recommended to use it to avoid crashes or keep em minimal. It has been quiet. No new issues for a long time, even i have't been able to catch a fish :) . Great work charters and all tool developers. At least Dead tones, save corrupters have been vanished since toolmakers great work and others issues are also diminishing. Most new issues (crash) are nowdays caused by same namers. But there is easy fix for them. I have been quite lazy to report those since there is nothing wrong of songs they just won't work together... I would really help if people would report same namers to charters, at least some charters could then fix issue permanently by uploading fixed song. But anyways, that's minor issue, and anyone can fix by themselves (fix(es) in frontpage)... I, surely want just play issues minimal and i really can do it still after xxxxx songs. Thx for songs, thanks for great tools to make em, thx for tools to keep save alive, crash less... And surely ubi for game itself. Hope we will see day that my topic is totally useless. No manual removing or afterwards fix occurs. :D Anyways its getting better...less useful topic :)

Quick question / PSA regarding the CLI tool: Its creating files in the Temp folder (C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp), just like the toolkit does, but for some reason tools like CCleaner won't clean the files, unlike the files created by the toolkit, so its necessary to do it manually. I'm not sure if this is something normal or that needs to be fixed, but for those with not much free Space on their OS drive, you should really delete those files before you run out of space! I converted like 1300 CDLC and its close to 20GB in files, so be careful.

So. I can't play palms below of.... 6th string. Megadeth song consists of 4-5-6th strings plam mutes. I have to play it in harmonics style - push on the strings a little but in a middle of a fret. Sounds very terrible. Even on 70% speed =( Can't find the way to make it better.

Ive tried to learn guitar for 20 years, without much luck. I could fret chords and play a few progressions but nothing to really force myself to push. Last October I bought Rocksmith and discovered Customsforge, in the last year my playing has progressed well beyond the last 20 years. Today Ive logged over 350 hours in Rocksmith. I don't just play songs, I also play the technique challenges and the guitarcade games. Since the update RS seems to have a slight lag issue displaywise as songs I had 90% or higher playing I seem to be missing notes. Although what I hear is me hitting notes in time with the tune. Stick with it and keep it fun, you will get more from it. If I look back over my life and the countless hours I spent playing games, rs is the only one that devoting time to it produces something tangible.

this may not be completely relevant to the first question, but i for one really enjoy the rocksmith experience. i have a shelf of music/tab that i mess with from time to time, and i too check out justin and the other youtubers offering online instruction. the biggest thing i find with RS is that it's ready when i am. i don't have to search for videos or dig out tab. it seems my schedule any more is a few minutes here and there, with the only block of time later in the evening when everyone else in the house is going to bed. i can plug in the earplugs and hammer away. i also like the ability to see feedback on my playing. i've come to the realization that i may never be able to play on my own, so i try to enjoy every minute i get to play at all. kinda like life in general, you can go through fighting it or enjoying it, all in how you look at it. i do know after being on this site for a while there is a ton of talent out there. makes me wish i was better, but also pushes me to try harder.

The next thing they need to do is release an add on pack for drums of use with an electric drum kit, that would keep the wifelet happy as she wants to learn them, we could then jam together in multiplayer mode

Rocksmith is the best software in the world they should get Nobel Prize :D :D
