First scores this week. Nice songs, I didn't know any of them before. Another crazy Japanese chart, I should have expected that Ehh Plini charts are so uncomfortable to play that I would have to spend tons of hours to get a decent score. For example, this intro which can be easily played by moving notes from the A string to the D, which I had to do in my head

OK, here we go!!! ---- -- I have a lot to say about "Ichizu"... I'll start with this comments: - I always have doubts about the ratings... When I proposed making a thread about discussing ratings for songs added to the SSL, I was precisely having troubles rating this song (actually the guitar, maybe the bass not so much). That's because I felt it was out of topic discussing a rating of a song I am adding to the SSL in the current Championship week. I think @ cacahuate51 , (and @ BubbleWrapDragon at the time) were the only ones who understood what I meant... although I am very grateful to @ Rodman that we now have a compendium for ratings... I am planning to contribute there as well. - I was planning to do a "Japanese themed week" in the future and include this song... didn't expect that it would get chosen!!! Anyway... I played it just to rate it when I was still in advance bass, and got like 63% at the time... I am surprised I reached the 90s in my second try!

Rhythm Cleary 5 for me. This is difficult, some solo notes and fast licks, 8.5.

Very difficult song. I could get higer score but I can't play fast part anything.

Let the suffering of my ego, hands and those that hear my fingers fumbling over the strings on these songs come to a merciful end. I think Kiko is amazing, not as guitarist, as a musician and person. Watch his vlogs when he was on tour with Megadeth, or his interview with Beato or Anderton's, so humble and knowledgeable. This chart is insane, unless you can do an 8 fret stretch across three strings like Plini does on the intro. I had to transpose the C# to the D string to even have a chance. 'Could Be Better' <--thanks for the confidence boost from the voice of Rocksmith.

Lead Good song for beginners, at some point one uncomfortable chord appears, the rest is easy. My suggestion for this song was for beginner level. I played this again after a long break and I still think this is more beginner level. I can admit that Breaking Benjamin is one of the first (which happened somewhat by accident) bands I started listening to when I got access to the internet a long time ago. So I have a huge sentiment for them and I'm always happy to play their songs! Btw. The first song I listened to was Polyamorous, which is an official DLC and of course I have it in my collection And The Diary of Jane is probably their biggest hit, considering the number of listens. The first part of this song was fun to play. Somewhere from the middle chords started that repeated until the end, and they were a bit unusual, so I got a bit tired of placing my fingers properly It's weird that @ cacahuate51 chose this, because he kept complaining that the songs were too long, and this is long and the chart is repetitive, although the song itself is nice to listen to.

Bro really hit me hard choosing two songs that really made me pick the guitar in the first place. I remember like it was yesterday in 2006 with my PS2 playing Most Wanted, it was the best time of my life for sure. Was the first time hearing Avenged Sevenfold, Mastodon, Bullet for my Valentine (Hand of Blood would be a nice song for a future week), Static-X, Disturbed... They don't make games how they used to do anymore. Blinded in Chains and Blood and Thunder are probably the songs i most played since getting back to the guitar in the pandemic, this is why the scores can seem higher than expected for me About this song being in Burnout i could not find anything, but i do remember hearing it on MW2012. BANGER. Will try to work on this one. Another great song by Senses Fail is Can't Be Saved from Guitar Hero 3 as a bonus track. Overall great week, i have so much fun playing those songs from older games as gaming now days in general are in shambles.

First song, I thought I going strong, but where the song says "I am a believer" in the bridge with me playing over the top it sounded like "I'm an Angry Beaver". I haven't seen the Angry Beavers in decades now (I'm old)

CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT!!! YEEAHH!! ------ Finally, I decided today I would try my song in advanced-rhythm: Plini & Kiko song! Actually, for me is an achievement just daring to try. However, after one and a half hour RR-ing the first easy half of the song, I realized that I was practicing the Lead path!!! My flow of emotions was like: I was already tired but still RR-ed the Rhythm path... Rocksmith said I had a "decent performance", but it really sounded like 40%... Hopefully I can improve it tomorrow... I mean, I shouldn't be drinking if I want to get a better score!!

Still can't do nice plam mutes lower then 6th string. But this time we have a gap to place right hand precisely to play muted 2nd and 4th strings.

rhythm: a bit underwhelming to play but its a decent begginer path song. chorus sounds like it could be a car commercial or something xD cool song and good tab. Im just not a fan of his stretches cause they can easily be avoided by just playing the notes on the same string. feel like progy bands like this over complicate playing for no real reason other than to show off.. i guess you can argue that you lose a bit of tone by doing it on the same string but eh. ill just cheese it instead of breaking my fingers

Good musweek everyone! I would agree with @ robolechuga this selection is harder then last week. At least my first plays were awful BegL: Most of the song is easy but the riff built from 2nd and 4th strings may brake a streak: InterL: Nothing technically hard here but complicated forr me. BegR: Light and easy song. Slides can ruine at SA. InterR: very loud custom tone. Parts between chords of main reef can be tricky. AdvL: absolutely terrible in my performance and unplayable. Nothing to say here except Interesting selection thank you @ aNDESmASAMUNE it's gonna be hard

Here are my attempts, I just couldn't get on board with the intermediate and advanced songs this week.

(the emojis got huge by mistake... ) ---- In my very humble opinion, I think this path belongs to the realm of intermediate lead.... --- As always, it is a big challenge for me to keep up in Advance guitar!! You see the difference: @ Rodman got 81% when testing the song... Comparing to that, see what I got in the first sightread and after a deep session of RR: I am happy I managed to survive the score attack!!! My challenge is not winning but reaching more than 90%!!! Anyway, I am grateful for having this challenge here in thee Championship!

CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT!!!!! YEEAHH!!! --- ---- At the time I rated this, I was intermediate. I thought I would never achieve advance, but could play more or less the main chord-riff of this song after quite some practice, so my understanding was that, if I could manage to play this, should be intermediate... I think I rated it a bit too low, but it is hard to clearly recognize the boundaries between intermediate-advance, and advance-masterclass in guitar! --- As always, It's a struggle for me to belong in advanced class in guitar!! But I am happy to have this challenge! I needed a Zen monk like concentration to play the arpeggio through the song!!! This is the best I can do for now after a deep RR session...

Tried to beat yesterday's myself. But nothing. Rhythm don't wanna be completed and pushes me miss in different positions even if I don't change left hand position and don't change right hand strings punishment. Lead part a little better. But I made a lot of mistakes and slides almost all are wrong. I'm not happy with myself today.

Thanks for new week and I'll enjoy. Maybe my tremolo picking is too slow. ↓They are very famous in Japan. This song is very difficult. I could get higher score for me but maybe my sound is very dirty. I should play this song clearer.

I don't think i'm going to get any higher on bass this week but I had great fun playing these!!

Really liking this song for lead this week!

improvements: open strings always confuse me in rocksmith especially when it comes to arpeggiated stuff but if you memorize it its easy enough. riff picking style is kinda similar to hysteria defflepard or a cdlc called change your heart or die by the midnight. Lead is more challenging i guess 5% is the solo. now the question is do i want to practice that 3 % to beat pedropmf..you are too good man xD

A few slides and string skipping part broke it but I really glad I beat 99%. Really interesting and enjoyable to play to this song.

Getting better!!! Should be able to get 100% on advance bass this week!

First tries of songs of the week. Just to know the enemies Lazarus. Rhythm - nothing special. At least if detection works fine Lead - can be treaky with slides and last part. Ichizu. Hard and doesn't clear how to play it. Fortunately, I was not promoted to InterLead. Danger Calling. More interesting to play than the previous track. Even though it's hard too. Crash 'n burn. This one isn't from a video game, but another version of the song was a key to the plot of the original Blues Brothers movie way back (not necessarily recommending that movie, however). By the way, the bass part has 1195 notes.
