  1. Hi all, Please enter me into the BEGINNER CLASS. I typically atempt Lead only due to very limited time but it is fair to say I am BEGINNEER on all arrangements... except maybe I am an INTERMEDIATE on Violin... :) As I stated earlier, I wish to learn and see how well I could manage playing Iron Maiden's Infinite Dreams. So I will submit scores for this song this week as much as I could, even though it won't count since it is not my class. First attempt, coming in cold - only way to go is up. http://i920.photobucket.com/albums/ad41/Berneer/CustomsForge%20Championship/Week%2088%20-%20Ending%2003July2015/CF%20-%20Week%2088%20-%20Iron%20Maiden%20-%20Infinite%20Dreams%20-%20Lead%20-%20Attempt%201_zps0fj9dhux.png

  2. here comes my first score for one with much space for improvement. With this song I dedicated my new guitar which yesterday the postman brought :) rather I own enough guitars, but since my son bought his own steam key for RS 2014 and I gave him one of my guitars (my old Ibanez Talman), I needed another and cheap one for education because I don't want to give one of my expesives to everyone. And finally I've got a guitar with 24 frets now :D http://up.picr.de/22379608mc.jpg new axe

  4. 4 songs (rarely there is more, only on special days). And I'm the all-father since week 41, and the ancient ones were running it for RS2012 back on Anvil. PS. I'm working at home, so making 5 min break to update leaderboard every couple of hours is not that porblematic :P But seriously, it wouldn't be possible if all three of us didn't work hard. You can think of me as a coach. Always about current week, and on friday moving on to the next, not thinking back. The man behind the scenes is @. The General Manager. He's the one who pushes Championship forward. And he's always there to help with ratings. And he's everytime right (unless he's wrong :P ). And @@Rodman, playing with his Rankings and helping whenever he can. I wouldn't be able to run it without them. It look's like Kill Bill Vol. 2 makes people make long posts. Grave of the Fireflies by Studio Ghibli. It's anime, but it's also the saddest movie I ever saw. Unless you want your kids to see you cry, don't watch it with them :P

  5. Thanks for tbhe warm welcome everyone! Always more motivating to play in a championship! A little RR does a lot of good in a short time... Not sure if you frown upon posting incremental imporovements but given I never know if I'll have more time to play I guess I'll post. http://i920.photobucket.com/albums/ad41/Berneer/CustomsForge%20Championship/Week%2088%20-%20Ending%2003July2015/CF%20-%20Week%2088%20-%20Iron%20Maiden%20-%20Infinite%20Dreams%20-%20Lead%20-%20Attempt%202_zpshmyf9knr.png

It took 3 times through but got the 100% that I wanted last week ;-) Yes, this is a far simpler song to play, but I believe that musicians sound better if they can master a simple song rather than butcher a difficult one

  24. Here's how I did on the phrases for my latest attempt Infinite Dreams on bass: http://i.imgur.com/yVTUoXf.jpg And here's how I did scorewise: http://i.imgur.com/BkKkhE4.jpg Not as good as my previous, but not bad for master mode, eh? I do have a small update for playing it on hard, though, in case anyone threatens to catch up to me: http://i.imgur.com/y3P6uh6.jpg I don't think today's the day I'm going to hit 100%. Too tired and consequently pretty sloppy. I've had RR attempts on the sections and been able to nail each type, but there are just too many takes that wind up with 3-5 misses. Hopefully I'll sleep well tonight. Though I don't really have a bed here anymore...

  25. One on bass. The first half seems a little random to me, partly because I've never heard the song before The second half is one of those avalanches of sixteenth notes that causes the high scores and long streaks on bass even when my timing is messed up.

  26. Alright i think i kinda understood almost everything. @@Mortalo But seriously 88 Weeks and every week are about 2-6 Songs or even more... That's rough. I mean you surely got a whole lot to do, rating songs from beginner-master, cheking you've got everybody listed for the rating, managing all the peole who're posting alle the results and still being active in the forum and probably a whole lot more. That's actually impressive. I mean seriously 88 weeks.... 88 ! Anyways @@Mortalo and the other Guys who're probably helping out and stuff, which i don't know yet. 27. Hey Guys, Just in Case, i'm sorry if this is the wrong thread to ask some questions.. probably. I'll make it quick. :) 1. Every Week Mortalo will open a new rs14 championship thread for every next week. And all we have to do is to post a Screen with the results from LAS or Score Attack after playin the Song we've been given for this week and so on. Is that right ? (my english is kinda bad, sorry about that, i'll try my best tho). Let's say there's a song which i can play better at Advanced Lead and next week Intermediate Rhythm. Can i change which suits me better every week and post my results that way ? So that i can change my class and guitar arrangement ? First i didn't want to join, because well i was actually scared it would be a classic who's the best championship. But after reading the rules and all the other things. I kinda want to join and have some fun and maybe learn some tricks how to get play things right and cleaner. I'm looking forward to learn and compete with you guys [emoji1] ~Yinx (in game name)

  38. check up my definition back here of what a good cDLC is to result in good playability. You may add your criteria. For now, my best criteria for downloading are the following : 1. Magna Charter's, with whom I've had a constructive exchange. 2. Rate of releases : there is no way to release 10 cDLC every week, and certainly not for beginners 3. A version 1.01 to 3.0 which means the charter cares about updates 4. A version 1.00 with no comments No news = good news = at least a decent cDLC. :D

  40. Well, you'll have to... http://i.imgur.com/85lhsl3.jpg The usual software I use for recording seems to not be working, so I tried Bandicam. Interestingly, it seems to cause in-game lag but output silky smooth video, whereas the other one was the opposite. Anyway, video will be up soon, though I might try another take for a video later. I also think somewhat fewer misses will be possible, though I still don't think I'll get down below 3 misses or so as it's really hard to nail everything in one playthrough. Edit: Video I'm blaming Bandicam lag for all the places where my rhythm was terrible :P

I have also added a push/pull tone pot that splits the coils of the pickups to give it a bit of brighter stratlike tone when i want it, and i installed a seymour duncan liberator pickup quick change system. so i can swap pickups in and out easier than changing strings :D
