Some notes: 

• I love me some Elton John bass accompaniments...was excited when @ Mikson  made his own version of Daniel. I love it. To ME, it's not quite Adv level, but since I was clearly wrong about Shooting Star not being Adv, and since I am so intimately familiar with both songs (this really helps in learning to play it!)... take that with a grain of salt
• Fire (Live from Studio A) is one of a relatively small number of CDLC that I made back in the early COVID era when I was stuck at home and had time for such things. 
• The Gods Must Be Crazy does not have a proper bass tone, so be prepared to swap to your own tone at the beginning

@ cacahuate51  I will assume you do not want to be moved up a level on Lead, based on previous comments.

 @ hieve  (Bass) - please let me know if you do not want to be promoted to Adv

@ cacahuate51  already said last week that he didn't want to be promoted. He should win in lead path and rhythm - his score for rhythm was not recorded in the leaderboard (screen on the 1st page from the previous week topic).

Nice new version, looks much simpler than the one I played a long time ago.

About intermediate. It seems to me from observing the past many weeks that songs with low tuning in the lower grades have fewer participants than normal. @ jellisjenius   it's good if you added option with the E-Std version in the first post. Here is a link to the pitch shifted version:

I already forgot that I did this CDLC, but it was about half a year ago. 

I played Periphery once during testing and it was a hard experience for me, so I'm letting it go.

I never thought about playing this song, but it is simple and the bass riff delivers on the promise of making you "Feel Good" 

This year I started as a personal challenge to become capable of telling all the notes as they come on the note highway.

Right now I only can do that for really simple songs with not too many accidents or at a really really slow speed.

However, I couldn't try that with this one because of the down-tuning!!! 

By the time I am capable of telling all the notes even in different tunings, I will be a master! (Many years ahead in the future... I think I won't get dementia! )

This is a really cool song with a very enjoyable bassline. I like the tone of the bass as well. I want to get better at this song just because I liked it.

This bassline sounds rather kind of old-fashion and pretty standard... However, in the old days the bassist used to have more fun, I think. Following the chord progression with bass arpeggios is actually fun to play. In my opinion, basslines with single notes started to become more widespread in the 80s, and after that, there was a partial decline in bass complexity, I think. Just a personal opinion... Of course, being complex or easy doesn't equate with being good or bad...

i had an impression that whoever is creating a new week is browsing through react for scores with errors to correct them manually...

This is wonderful to hear. It's my CDLC, I made it during a time when Black Pumas had almost no CDLC. Now there are more, and they are a lot of fun to play, so I recommend checking them out! Such a good band...

I don't normally paly anything that isn't in bass E standard, but my last build was made for D standard with a capo allowance for Eb or E.  The Gorillaz show that I went to before Covid was great, so I couldn't resist...
