  1. I have had a lot of stuff to do this week but i at least wanted to get a score since its rush (their 80 to 84 period is my favorite). So this is my first playthrough this week and il try to get a couple more. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4zebKHkDZhIYTdEelpWaHAwaU0/view?usp=sharing

  2. That My Generation from The Who is on the beginner path with a 3.5 rating on bass i think is a big joke. Should at least be on INT with around 5 ish difficulty, because of the tricky fills, slides, bends and during the outro he switches a lot of strings, yes the are in a scale but still. I think its too much for a beginner course for the bass, anyway here goes: http://i.imgur.com/lvuaGxl.jpg Can never say no to some excellent Rush (even though i prefer the 70's version of Rush, this album is still quite solid!) http://i.imgur.com/EPbxXGF.jpg Tried again..lower score but better accuracy: http://i.imgur.com/tyVzzlR.jpg

  4. No improvements from me. I've been in hospital. I'm not looking for sympathy, just using it for this week's excuse. :D (I did take my bass with me, but I wasn't playing Championship songs lol).

  5. I didn't know the song - had only today some playing time for it and it was fun. When I uploaded my 1st score it was invisible with song finished but no values (it was a 91.x%) http://i1057.photobucket.com/albums/t384/papillon-pb/championship/championship2014/Bildschirmfoto%202017-05-13%20um%2016.50.27_zpsvaqdfhtg.png To have a valid score I played it again - Kudos to the 97er and @Monsta for his 94 http://i1057.photobucket.com/albums/t384/papillon-pb/championship/championship2014/Bildschirmfoto%202017-05-13%20um%2017.21.42_zpseadn8gb7.png

  7. When I woke up today I realized that it's my time to start a new week, but I think that I did good job selecting songs with limited time  No bass for Cure, because it crashed after I played it and wanted to leave the song select screen, I can bring it back if you would have better experience with it. Overall I think that we will have quite challanging week. *I really don't like to palm mute whole song while skipping strings :P

  13. for all guitarists they want to proof and raise their skills in lead techniques I recently released those little exercise pack with 12 tracks plus their No Guitar versions. Important not only to get the 100% what shouldn't be a problem in the most cases, but rather play the No Guitar versions, only if it sounds really good the 100 will be deserved! Lead Techniques 1 (easy) and now we know why again I didn't had much time to play this week

  14. For any comment regarding the content, please do it here : Last Edition the 27th of June 2023 I.Software 1. Editor On Fire (EOF) It is the core of where the magic happens, it was created as a companion to Frets On Fire quite some time ago to allow users to create their own charts and has evolved a lot since then to allow the creation of compatible customs songs for the Guitar Hero games, Phase Shift, Bandfuse, Rock Band and of course Rocksmith and Rocksmith 2014 Remastered or not. You can find this software over at : https://ignition4.customsforge.com/eof (You will need full release + hotfix) 2. DLC Builder Without it, things would be a bit more complicated, it automates the whole packaging process and creates all of the files that are needed for Rocksmith to be able to read and play everything according to plan. It involves a lot to properly translate the files from EOF to the proper file format that Rocksmith can then interpret correctly. It also add Dynamic Difficulty as well as some quality check and is the place to manage tones. You can find this software over at : https://github.com/iminashi/Rocksmith2014.NET/releases 3. WWise Rocksmith uses the WWise file format for reading and navigating through audio files, so we will need it to convert our OGG files to the WEM format. Luckily the DLC Builder does it all on his own properly but we still need to have the software to do the encoding (like you would need the Lame encoder to encode in MP3). You can download the 2021 installer from here : https://ignition4.customsforge.com/tools/wwise The DLC Builder support WWise 2019 and 2021. 4. Other tools that can be quite useful a. Vocals synchronisation I would suggest using Ultra Star Creator because it has a practical interface and it allows you to quickly and simply sync vocals to the audio and then import them without any issues into EOF : https://sourceforge.net/projects/usc/ An alternate lyrics editor that offer a more visual approach is YASS though it is suggested to work from an existing MIDI file that has the vocal melody : https://yass-along.com/ You can also find existing lyrics file from the UltraStar Database (free account is required) : https://usdb.animux.de/ b. Guitar tab editing software I personally use Guitar Pro to edit and make adjustments to the tab that I will later import into EOF, but EOF can edit the tab too. I just find most parts of the tab editing process to be easier in Guitar Pro than in EOF. That is really a personal matter and I won’t talk about how to use Guitar Pro or Tux Guitar (for those who prefer a free Linux compatible tab editor in this whole tutorial. Just be aware that TUX doesn't correctly export the special techniques that Rocksmith can use the same way Guitar Pro does, meaning you'll have to add them in manually within EOF). I still prefer that people know they can use a different tool to do part of the tab editing, instead of being locked in a software they might not find practical. http://www.tuxguitar.com.ar/ https://www.guitar-pro.com/

  15. OK, so after watching the video tutorial on making CLDC's made by @@SkepticSquid here: http://customsforge.com/topic/841-how-to-make-cdlc-full-in-depth-tut-completed/ some of us still have difficulties so I thought that a non-video tutorial with screenshots and text instead might also be helpful, let's start: I've divided everything into 6 sections, some of them are currently in progress, but in the end you will be able to make your own customs for Rocksmith 2014. Here's the basic table of contents: PrepairingWorkload directoryGetting tools and setting them upGetting the resources - tabs, album artActual workWorking with EoFWorking with WWiseWorking with Custom Song Creator Toolkit for RocksmithSummary and thanksSo, enjoy, comment and have fun. 20. love this song, I was familiar with it from the game and managed to the get the 100 pretty fast which I was very psyched about http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o753/macjm12/Screen%20Shot%202017-05-11%20at%2010.12.43%20PM_zpsb9jemus7.png I remember listening to the fratellis back when they came out and seeing this song name and thinking it was about someone literally getting their pair of nuts from a hippy, which seemed strange, listening to it closer now it makes way more sense lol http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o753/macjm12/Screen%20Shot%202017-05-11%20at%2010.04.36%20PM_zps0sgyzjxp.png not my thing, learned the riff then just coasted http://i1341.photobucket.com/albums/o753/macjm12/Screen%20Shot%202017-05-11%20at%2010.28.12%20PM_zpsrm1byb7o.png

  22. well i have no time this week which is a pain as The Who are one of the best bands I've seen live and the My Generation track is one of the reasons i got the game in the first place, oh well, heres some screenies my first ever 100+ on Bass :P the Frattellis needed more time me thinks. As did Royal Republic. i just know i could do so much better on this as well. might get a little more time on Saturday if the Girlfriend stops pestering me....... i think i prefer her when she's at work

  35. John Entwistle, the 7th best bassist of all time is beginner? :) No joke, my bass teacher just told me on Thursday to watch him on youtube. Plays a lot of high notes and then thumbs the E, So i was ready for it but missed it heh. I totally missed last week. I played the song a few times, got to about 90% and then had my bass lesson and got into what I was suppose to be practicing for it. I should have submitted my junk score. Submitting first play through so that doesnt happen again. 85.2% https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/824567239157058623/84A82D6853814EA27F3B0DA26BDB7DEE6447B50E/ The recording is old and there is no sound to start because it is just John's bass. I was amazed to see a song I thought I knew be much more than it was because I kinda wrote them off for being older music. It was an eye opener. Also i can provide a list for beginner class. I just look at what I have over 90% on:) List to follow

  36. the first exercise is about bendings easy: Half Step Bends (with release bend) After completing all 12 tracks including the No Guitar versions I summarize them here you can just visit every single record page and download what you want or just get the whole Song Pack with all exercises and the final challenge with all their No Guitar versions. All cdlcs are available as Pc versions by now. If anyone have some trouble with converting just let me know. The Song Pack Lead Techniques 1 by Jammmz are taken from the Jammz site, all tracks are for free. Short exercise tracks with 15-30 seconds running time, very clear and qick memorizable. Every track also has a No Guitar version where you can should play along and listen to that. the tracks are: 01 - Single String - a single note line only on E string, focused on fret hand shifting 02 - Pentatonic Scale - very easy, basic handshape up and down, focused on memorizing the Penta scale 03 - Slides Up easy - also a pentatonic melody with slides as shape change. 04 - Slides Up medium - pentatonic melody again with slides as shape change, but faster. 05 - Slides Down harder - focused on slides down, make sure to play it clean. 06 - Pull Offs 07 - Hammer Ons 08 - Half Step Bends 09 - Whole Step Bends (also with unisono and release bends) this is the hardest exercise of them 10 - Vibrato slow - Easy one, but since RS doesn't care about some techniques scorewise it's up to you and your ears to let those vibratos vibrate 11 - Vibrato fast - same as in 10 12 - Final Challenge - All (or the most) techniques together in a final track, with about 30 seconds the longest. enjoy and raise your skills with that. Have an ear to your playing when running the No Guitar versions. Play them untill it sounds really good, that's the goal!!!
