Really not liking the new update, automatically connecting my web camera :/ Thought there would be an option to disable webcam in game rather than having to disable it for everything but alas, nope.

I tried it with a normal guitar cable to my mic input. You will miss all the effect Rocksmith adds but it works. For those who play with a amp that wont make a difference.

Deleted which ini file? I'm experiencing the same problem currently. Earlier today, before the patch I played Rocksmith just as I usually would. But after I got the update on Steam, the game wouldn't recognize the cable anymore, doesn't pick a single sound from the guitar in the game but in windows recording devices I can see that the volume bar goes up as I play...

I find it very enjoyable making a "classic" type of cover, both lead and rythm for the most. Learning songs via Rocksmith :) They ain't flawless tho. Can't be bothered recording it all over again if I just miss a few notes :) This is probably one of my most "flawless" ones though.

And I can't play it in the complete riff.My right hand do not want to play 6th string after 4-5 strings move. Everytime I'm doing either 4-5 again or 4-5-6. Or nothing.Everytime. I can't do it after 90% speed. Seems easy. But...sadness.

The issue has been resolved. I don't know what happened, or how it happened, but I had apparently installed RS on multiple hard drives, and for some reason my dlc folder shortcut had changed to the one drive where rocksmith was inactive. Checked on the other drive in the dlc folder there, and noticed everything but the CDLC's were there, so I moved them over and now it works. Lul.

I agree with both of you! :D I didn't even know this was an issue until Imi told me personally. This seems like the sort of thing that should be in the red banner up top! LOL :D But hey I'm a charter, everything charty seems mission critical to me! Edit: I thought this thread was older than it is....looks like this is a new discovery.

got it working by disabling all recording devices except the rocksmith cable. For those who are still having issues.

To everyone, as much as i would like to be able to help, this is a Ubisoft issue and is in now way related to CDLC so i strongly suggest you contact the support for Rocksmith to actually have competent people to help you guys. DO NOT mention CDLC when talking to the support though.

I was actually joking when i said i was giving up for the week, however i can get the Mac to play any DLC's so it looks like my week is over anyway :angry:

Guitars are better than women because they have a volume control .

If you have rocksmith, why would you ever go back to games like that? I had a friend falling victim to this. He played guitar hero like crazy for probably more than a year, and he was pretty good at it. Imagine if he spend all that time actually playing a real guitar/rocksmith :D The funny thing is, he actually has a real guitar. Not that he was good at playing it, but still. I don't get why people would want to learn a game over the real deal. It wouldn't surprise me if he was well above 1k hours playtime on guitar hero.
