So. I can't play palms below of.... 6th string. Megadeth song consists of 4-5-6th strings plam mutes. I have to play it in harmonics style - push on the strings a little but in a middle of a fret. Sounds very terrible. Even on 70% speed =( Can't find the way to make it better.

To everyone whose CDLCs show up but do not play (stuck at beginning of song, only amps show up or whatever). I have spent many hours helping a friend with that issue last week so if you are in the same boat that is likely to be the fix: 1) make sure and check twice that there is ONLY the ONE .dll (dl link red banner) NAMED RIGHT (no (1) ) in the ROOT FOLDER of RS14 as described. if the issue is still there 2) inside steam do an INTEGRITY CHECK: Right-Click the game in your Steam library. Click 'Properties'. Navigate to 'Local Files' tab. Click 'Verify integrity of game cache'. If there are errors - THATS THE PROBLEM!!!!. If after the Integry check the issue persists 3) - remove STEAM (RS14 reinstall was not enough) ! - run CCleaner registry cleaner (use google and download for free) - reinstall STEAM, RS14rem, place .dll - enjoy @ - regarding your signature - (cough) .... there is a dedicated bass championship held every single week in the classes beginner, intermediate, advanced and masterclass, and yes - bass only tracks are used and very very welcome ... you are invited to put up to 4 into our Song Selection List ... maybe the thing missing is you at the competition ;)

Quick question / PSA regarding the CLI tool: Its creating files in the Temp folder (C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp), just like the toolkit does, but for some reason tools like CCleaner won't clean the files, unlike the files created by the toolkit, so its necessary to do it manually. I'm not sure if this is something normal or that needs to be fixed, but for those with not much free Space on their OS drive, you should really delete those files before you run out of space! I converted like 1300 CDLC and its close to 20GB in files, so be careful.

I am not able to reproduce the drag/drop issue with the latest beta version. Drag/drop is working on my machine. Please try a different CDLC file. Coming soon ... auto generate DDC directly from CDLC Creator.

@@Aludog it's not that Ubisoft doesn't bother, it's that they don't have the right to do so in the recording that are in a different A frequency. But they do pitch shift when they have the right to do so.

@@magnoalberto if you don't see the CDLC, this is likely because you don't own Cherub Rock DLC, this is needed for any CDLC to show up in the list. @@Ragnar1981 you can filter to have only your favorite and sort into that list. @@SlaterTot8 i'm trying to help but if you are unwiling to still give me the exact name of the file you download or any screenshot (or the size of the dll file) i can't do a lot more than asking question that seems to relevent to me. Seems like users also have issue because of a bad steam installation. you can always do a verification of the games files via steam to be sure that the game isn't corrupted but at one point, it's gonna be hard to find out what's going on in your case when it's working for 99% or our user without any other step than getting the dll and putting it in the right place... @@Riy did you try to brought that up to Ubi support? just don't talk about CDLC and you'll be fine and probably get a way better answer than anything we can provide here about that kind of issue... @@DegoLocc and @@BoomSoMuch It will be integrated into CFSM once the fix is stable and can work in any situation we can think of, for now it's only via the CLI app inside the toolkit and i suggest that you wait if you are afraid of fucking up something.

Who said Rocksmith is all you need to be able to become a guitar player. Ok, right, publicity! Who cares about publicity ? RS is just another way to learn, a damn effective way, specially in keeping you motivated. But it has a giant flaw : It accepts bad techniques, because it cannot see them. Bad technique is what slows down progression. Don't avoid exercices, youtube and face2face teachers. And why not attend are real guitar school, where the teacher gives you a deadline to master a special technique. And then play with a band, or in a duo, it's like running a race, it gives that little extra in concentration, attention. Progression is being able to see things happening slower than they are, and being able to react. Ever got that feeling, when you run to the finish line and you remember it like in slow motion? So much information and thoughts registered in a couple of seconds. The beginner is only focused on the next note, and one of his fingers. Progression is done by anticipation, not actually looking the next note, but the next couple, the next half a dozen of notes. And the fingers know by themselves what to do : it's called automation. My progression is constant, but very slow. I have to be patient. I have about 50 songs I play regularly, most of them Buckethead's. I note the number of errors at a speed (I normally start at 80%) When I replay a song 1-2 Month later, after the first or 2nd try, I always reduce my number of errors. So by daily playing, there is a progression. Though, I'll be probably 120years old before I can play like Buckethead. :lol: My advice : always keep an eye on a clean technique! This requires memorizing a couple of riffs from songs you play and playing them away from RS focusing on clean sounding strings and correct hand and finger positions.
