Subele el volumen de la voz!!! Sin pena jaja
very cool. Whenever I hear whispering in spanish reminds me of The marias...eventhough they are from LA but close enough.
you're gonna have to take my mexican card away from me since I have no clue who jose alberto is lol.

I have this static buzz on the mic track that I figured is me not doing something right but I don't really get it.. Rendered it with it louder and it was so prominent I had to go back and lowered it. I picked up the mic yesterday for $20 so that might be the problem but it's probably not

if I knew how to work with the DAW better I could tell but everything I threw at it wasn't working and I'm getting a little too salty lol

No worries, it's from a Brazilian novela soundtrack from 2001 that was hugee I imagine you're not the target demo haha

Improvements

It's hard to achieve a higher score on this chart, lots of random misses especially in the 12-0-10 power chords section.

Alright then here it is with some vocals! let's call it a rough draft lol not super happy with it but can't make it much better right now...let's just say I ain't quitting my day job

I did the last verse in English but most of it is lyrics from the cover I grew up with by Jose Alberto. I didn't know it was originally a Beatles song for a long time, I don't really listen to them like that either but it's like eating vegetables, probably should cause it's good for ya

I do wish I did a better job modulating the arpeggios and of course the timing but that's a wrap, thanks for the feedback 🙂

Nicely done - now it´s complete!!!!
Can´t wait for your next ones!

@ shaggy_malagy  - youu know what: Name one for next week please - choose one you did and have a video on!

Great rocking weeknd, everyone! Rod.

Master Lead and Rhythm 😍

Rhythm was almost perfect, but this is easy chart to remember. Lead went very well too, I got a little lost 1-2 times. I think we should play more in Master Mode, especially songs with a chart that is easy to remember.

Thank you! I actually thought I'm stuck in rhythm. But when I changed left hand pattern I broke out of the bridge trap. Lead is easier because it doesn't use pinkie 🙂

Been traveling the last few weeks.  Glad I got to play this song, Breaking Benjamin is one of my favorites.  I love simple powerful riffs.  It makes it fun to play guitar.

Aww yes, D standard! Spend most of my time in this tuning these days. Also decided to give my PRS SE a run out this week, mainly because the Les Paul needs some new strings and I really can't be bothered!

Also, I thought that I would add in some recommendations of others songs from the bands that I know just in case anyone here wants to delve a little deeper; I know I've discovered some great bands such as Seventh Wonder and Blind Guardian thanks to the championship and thought I would give back a bit a little bit.

?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

Initially thought I hadn't heard this one before but as soon as that chorus lead section kicked in I remembered it. Really fun song to play,

Also check out:

1. The Bee

2. Amongst Stars

3. Silver Bride

?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

Love a metal cover of a non-metal song, just something about the chord progressions usually lend themselves well to metalification if you want to call it that! I haven't actually heard of these guys before but that was a fun one to play, the string skipping metalcore style section was really nice,

Again, I haven't heard of these guys before but if you like covers of songs in different genres then check out:

1. Exit Eden - really great symphonic covers of mainly power ballads, It's a Sin, Kayleigh and Total Eclipse of the Heart are my favourites

2. Me First and The Gimmes Gimmes - a pop punk supergroup doing, surprise surprise, pop punk covers of popular songs. Give Jolene, Wild World and Country Roads a listen

?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

Breaking Benjamin are a funny band to me, anytime I hear them I am brought back to Halo 2 TDM montages from the early days of YouTube despite the fact that A) I only started listening to Breaking Benjamin early last year, B) I never played Halo 2 online and C) I also couldn't watch YouTube on my 45kps dial up connection that I had until 2013 haha. @ Rodman  described them perfectly. I always categorised them as "Frat Rock" myself.

Anyway, this was a tricky enough song with those chorus arpeggios but is still a good song. I think we had Diary of Jane a few weeks or even months ago so not going have that in my list of suggestions

1. Blood

2. Had Enough

3. Awaken - latest release from them but has a nice Bad Omens edge to it

?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

God I love this song, god I love Mastodon. Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher are hands down my favourite guitar duo of all time. After the guitar hero week I decided to finally put some suggestions forward so it's great to see one of them pop up so soon. I knew exactly what I was in for this week, this song is a monster, the opening 1:25 is just a relentless mix of hybrid picking goodness ending in that incredible country style lick where Brent just does his thing.

I didn't actually know about the multi-track options so that was pleasant surprise as it also reset my score from my previous attempts. Pretty happy with my percent and being able to beat it without any strikes, I was definitely sweating by the time I got to the end that run!

I could go on and on about Mastodon songs but I'll limit myself to one suggestion per album if anyone wants to give them more of a listen, they do get lighter and more proggy as the albums go on, everything before Crack the Skye is more raw and sludgy:

Call of the Mastodon - Welcoming War

Remission - March of the Fire Ants

Leviathan - Iron Tusk (We had Blood and Thunder last year and Megalodon this week so I'll just go with my 3rd favourite)

Blood Mountain - Colony of Birchmen

Crack the Skye - Divinations

The Hunter - Curl of the Burl

Once More 'Round the Sun - Tread Lightly

Emperor of Sand - Steambreather

Cold Dark Place - Toe to Toes (cheating because it's an EP but this song is incredible)

Medium Rarities - Fallen Torches

Hushed and Grim - Teardrinker

Best of luck with your scores everyone, another great week of songs!
