  1. Been traveling the last few weeks. Glad I got to play this song, Breaking Benjamin is one of my favorites. I love simple powerful riffs. It makes it fun to play guitar.
  2. Like Mikson said, not a popular Metallica chart, but some cool Riffs!! Can anyone play the Low E 16th notes at 200+ BPM? Too fast for me, I will need to work on that. It detects just playing every other note(8th notes) so my score is technically much lower.
  3. This is great!! You gave me some ideas to swap things around a little. Thanks for the detail!! Love Everything line 6! Currently Running a HX effects with a Mesa Boogie Triple Crown, but sometimes use my Helix and when I play live I usually use a Pod Go.
  4. Is anyone using a setup to split your guitar/bass out to rocksmith(Mac) and to an Amp? I bought https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07N3ZBHR5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title and https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BARTW42?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title (to kill the hum). It seems to work OK, but rocksmith sometimes struggles to pick up open notes with this setup. I am wondering if there is a better setup for this.
  5. This is annoying - only thing is you have to play loud enough to not hear yourself doubled out of key... but the drop pedal is a life saver on different song tunings.
  6. This song seems to be a little easier than Slipknot, other than it goes on forever. With a little practice, this could be a good beginner song with lots of single-note repetitive riffs. It is a little tricky to get the triplet hammer on to sound clean. I learned this song several years ago but have long forgotten how to play it. So many great songs this week. Unfortunately, I have a super busy week and some work travel so hopefully I can get some more time in.
  7. Cool!! emulated bass was the issue. I had to turn it off in settings. Thanks!! Still getting used to this game. I had to wipe the cobwebs off my bass. it will be fun to try and few bass tracks.
  8. Does Rocksmith work with a real bass? I plugged my bass in and it won't tune, detect notes, and sounds way off. I plug my guitar in, and it works correctly with the bass track. searched around on the internet a bit and can't find the answer.
  9. I guess I have discovered I don't know how to bend notes or RS can't detect them. Does anyone else have issues with bend detection?
  10. Love the obsession with what level I belong in! Is this normal or am I just extra special . Working on Radio Bye Bye Lead, we will see if I can pull something off this week.
  11. Thanks, in the upcoming weeks I will focus on Lead - Advance. Just trying to stay motivated to keep playing.
  12. Just changed this setting and this feels much more natural to me! Thanks for the tip!!!
  13. I'm totally fine with going advance-lead—it'll push me to work on the harder songs. I aim for about 10+ hours of practice a week. (I didn't track it, but the first week I probably put in over 30-40) I usually only have time to focus on one song at a time, I'm amazed at how others can work on so many songs in a week. This week, I'm focused on the Three Days Grace song and plan to stick with it until I get it really clean. If I have extra time, I might try the Coheed and Cambria rhythm part because it's such a cool song.
