  3. Haha, Fishbone was rated 8 and Rodrigo 8.5, so I wanted to go, respectively, Advanced and MC, but after playing this songs I felt that Fishbone is really hard, while Rodrigo is easier, so I swapped them. PS. You will hate my lead choices for next week  Or not, if it'll work out the way I want it, it should be ok.

  6. Okay, I was like, "one more try before I go out for the night!" and it was a good idea because I sucked a lot less at that riff even though I made a lot more random mistakes everywhere else. http://i.imgur.com/cRbGana.jpg

  7. Yes, this is definitely a start! Thanks for the replies. I'm not familiar with Editor on Fire, but at least now I know what EoF means. :)

  8. That would work. It should be pretty trivial for me to make the function to remove FHPs for the selected range, so I'll add that.

  9. I fear it's too late. I changed the notes directly in eof and didn't saved it separately so the old save file is overwritten. But you can just use the old version, it has the same arrangement IDs and I changed the version number by hand, not with the toolkit, so both versions are counting as the same, also in the highscores. All changes are only the open A notes and one slide in rhythm path.

  16. I just got my guitar today. It's the one on Amazon if you look up "Electric Guitar" It works fine and doesn't have issues, however the real tone cable just simply does not work. My issue with the real tone cable is that once I connect it, I can't hear anything at all. When I go to properties and the mic it doesn't make any noise even when I strum. Once I get into rocksmith, it sounds horrible. It sounds like a loud static noise mixed with playing all the strings at once rapidly. It doesn't recognize that my guitar is connected or when it is being calibrated nothing happens but the noise continues to be there in the background. I haven't even been able to get passed the first time set up in rocksmith. I will be uploading a video soon of the noise. The noise happens whether the guitar is connected or not.

  17. It is not the guitar 100%. The cable doesn't have to be connected to the guitar to make the noise and it changed from it sounding like all strings were being played to pure white noise. I can't get to the menu because it doesn't detect my guitar since I guess the real tone cable doesn't work. I can use my guitar through the amp normally but not with the real tone cable. :( A new cable is arriving tomorrow so I hope I can play then.

  24. @@ShrillBear52 - Is there any chance you can post the EoF project on a file host? I think you just need the .ogg and the .eof files for other people to check things out. It would be a lot easier than trying to diagnose the problem based on a couple of screenshots that don't show nearly enough information about the EoF file.

  27. The first screen shot shows an XML error at 21696, 30. Can you send me a link to the four files (settings.xml, songsfiles.xml, songsinfo.xml and debug.log) from your CFM folder in My Documents. Looks like you are parsing over 7000 songs, is that about right? Got a feeling that one of your songs is causing the issue.

  28. Wait... what? When did this become possible? I just updated to 9-15-2015 from 1436. Was this on purpose? I'm just asking in case it was an accident. But if not, what is the intended use? an un-strummed pre-slide? or??? Does RS support this? I was used to pulling back on my wheel to ensure I didn't have any unwanted note trails, and woah!

  29. There is DD and RR in the FAQ under the help tab, the tutorials section of the forums also has plenty of very useful information, especially on what Acronyms are what. LINK Its the main tablature that you can import into Editor on Fire (EoF). Theres an Import .GPX files(Files from Guitar Pro) on the app itself. Dont be afraid to post what you don't understand, while this is the internet, this community is great, and will help in whatever way they can. Is this a start?

  30. Hi, Guys Happy to announce we have another Member joining us here at the Classic Rock Coalition, @ - LaceyB. It looks like LaceyB is a Bass and 6-String Guitar player. And she (pretty Sure but not positive) has 27 Customs posted on CustomsForge. I think everybody has seen LaceyB here on CustomsForge ever since we've been here, when CustomsForge started up. I don't know if LaceyB was at SmithyAnvil or not, before here. So Welcome LaceyB to the Classic Rock Coalition Social Group. Later, avdocatwork - aka: Terry We now have 95 - Members and Guests at the Classic Rock Coalition - 18 Members and 77 Guests. Need to have a Party when it hits 100 soon.

  31. Compare it to making love with your partner. After a while, you don't need to do it everyday or 3 times a day. Eventually that passion will mellow and age, like a fine bourbon. Don't feel guilty about that. The music is your love, playing guitar is your expression of that love, but you don't need to express it (in that way) every day. Some days I won't play, but I'm on youtube watching lessons or on this site looking for new songs. As for my partner, she turned out to be a bitch so she had to go, but I do still enjoy some fine bourbon! haha! But not everyday. :D But I play guitar when it suits me, and I do sometimes go a week or so without playing. That's what is so great about a hobby, you can do it when you want and that's it. No expectations from anyone else.

  32. @@jbroch Hi, Jerry You could always stop by and visit me here in Dallas, TX. Plano is less than 30 miles away. I will show you my Rocksmith set up, if you have some free time. And I do have a Bass also, I can set up two player again. I had two player set up over the Holidays when my Nephew stayed a few days. I will find out whats happening around Dallas and get back to you. Later, Terry

  40. I'm going to state at this point there's no way to implement this with the next release of Ignition. I am highly interested in all of your feedback for this feature and will like to look at all of our options. I've found new songs via this method before and as a music website it's major that we cover not only finding songs you know and love, but new ones as well. Please continue to discuss methods and we'll look into it in the future releases of our products.

  41. Oh, yeah. Forgot to say - for Royal Blood, I had to stop at the start to find my 20th fret… then I didn't bother with any of the chords, and I forgot where my 20th fret was by the time it came around again… lol. I'd love to practice it this week, but what wit the tuning down, and the work I know I have to do on the Jacksons, it's not going to happen. :(

  42. Ok, I've been a bit lax of late, but I'm back with my full attention… well, maybe... First goes and impressions: Joe Cocker - quite a tricky beginner song (I managed to f*ck it up - not that I'm a bass god or anything, I'm just getting quite good at Rocksmith…): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKU3A1bTM0Vjk3NVU/view?usp=sharing I'm not sure of the tone on that one either - it's a bit, well, bleurgh. Royal Blood (a band I quite like and a nice difficult advanced song): https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKU3JPVWpKMHJDdUU/view?usp=sharing Sorry, did I say "advanced"? lol And then there's The Jackson 5. I've played it before. Once. I got 75% (yes, I actually stayed in there and finished the song). Tonight I did a hell of a lot better on my second go, 84%. I gave it another go on Score attack: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKTjJWZGpjVV9oVXM/view?usp=sharing I need to get some practice in this week… :)

Advanced Bass: For me, these are some weird basslines :D This week's songs are going to stay as a trivia for me :D They are interesting, but not something I would listen to.
