For me this also deserves a 4, e.g. due to the quick movement along the fretboard, beginners may have a big problem finding the right fret quickly.

Rhythm

Hmm playing this I wondered why @ cacahuate51  used this as rhythm? I thought there would be chords throughout the chart, but here there is riff, riff, mini solo, riff etc. and only single notes with frequent bends.

These chords require some stamina.

I disagree with @ johnal  here, some chords are really unusual and awkward to play quickly. The chart also has some odd single notes, for example an orange G7 should be played as a green B3. Maybe not 8, but 7/7.5 for sure.

Thanks for pointing out that i had put this song in rhythm and not lead @ Mikson  I meant to put it in lead since it has all the different techniques, pinch harmonics, bends etc and then place haddaway in rhythm since it has all the doublestops and is a little bit more predictable in structure/ repetitive.

So i have swapped them around both on the forum and in the sheet (thanks @rodman ! seems like i can now edit the pages!)

Also , i noticed the sheets already had the chevelle changed to 4.. so it is possible to have a higher/lower rating in a class? Just not reccommended i suppose for competition?

yea.. its a bit harder to find masterclass rhythm paths (so feel free to suggest them in the spread sheets if you have more!!)
Sometimes the paths are more of a combination to keep it entertaining...rather than an actual rhythm path...so when they arent a combination i think it feels alot easier since you arent soloing?

Im not entirely sold on it being intermediate but i can see it being a bit lower in difficulty...(even though i personally cant 99 it)

Played it a couple of times and could not get to 99+.  So, I think my initial assessment is off.  I think @ Mikson  thoughts on this one make more sense.

Also, I have no issue with this, or easier songs, being set as the masterclass song.  So, even if debatably easier you still have to battle to get the win.

Was a real mixed bag this week:

First two songs went great, the other two... not so much. Let's just say that .11s on a Les Paul do not mix well with holding barre chords for 3 minutes or fast disco chord changes! Maybe it's just me, suppose it gives me something to work on

Noticed that Mikson mentioned the Rasputin chart earlier, I second the weird fret placements. Ended up trying to do quick +5 or -5 for most of the song.

Fun song selection though, not what I usually listen to so great to branch out into some new styles.

Well, I don't know, notes are just "miss" sometimes, especially on the 8th and 10th frets of the 6th string. So they are breaking my streaks all the time and ruining the whole play at the end of the song. And the strings sound terrible for no reason. They are old or something. I don't know. I thought the reason of the terrible sound was the tape I placed on the bridge saddle's screws under the strings (they are scratched my hand). And I was partially right. The sound became better. But the misses didn't disappear.

@ jimmy655  if i recall corectly the game doesnt actually detect pinch harmonics...aslong as you fret the note and strum it like a normal note it should count.
kinda like with bends...you can cheese them by sliding into the note instead of bending....which i think detects better..

but you should always try to play how its been tabbed

I hadn't planned to play these two again, but then I remembered @ johnal   saying " you still have to battle to get the win". I'm almost certainly not going to win with these, but if there is gonna be a battle then I want to get in there...

Noooo! you have spoiled my plans to win lead masterclass! 

It does look like it took my bass score and posted in lead...maybe its because the enumerating content is blocking the path type?  and i guess posting scores with similar titles is a no no for automatic detection.

well i tried to change the scores manually to the right ones but it didnt let me..not sure if its due to the way its set up or permissions. But im sure someone with the powah will fix it. thanks for pointing that out!


think attempting to do so changed my permisions again  back to no permisions/ cant change ratings again.
