Kind of late starting, I've been putting my guitar efforts this week into my acoustic. Good evening all, tonights mission was to beat all previous scores as the misses was out with the granddaughter and i had the house to myself, first off the Cult Rhythm, not he 100% i wanted but heading in the right direction. this increase give me courage to try and get through the Cult Lead on SA..... those of you that have played this will recognise that the note on the highway is the last note of the song........ it gave me a final red cross on the last fucking note...... (excuse my language as i was very angry) this is not fair and if i were a computer game i would have let me off with a small warning !!!!! incensed by this blatant kick in the teeth i had another go....... the difference was that I actually hit some of the Purple and Green notes :rolleyes: with a smile on my face and oozing confidence everything was once again making sense until i had a go at the Intermediate bass.....then nothing made sense and it was time to watch Paranoid on the telly box. night night all

A: No. When they updated the game, the executable file changed which is why the dll needs to be updated, it's a side effect of software programming not a voluntary maneuver to break up things. Other issue arise by the discrepancies between how CDLC and ODLC are made, they aren't 100% similar inside and some of those differences can be put to light when the game changes how it react to some information. This is not ubisoft's fault as they never provided CDLC or mod support in the first place and when the main code changes, is it our duty to fix our mods to make the CDLC work again.

Hi, folks. The latest hotfix (10-13-2016) is in the first post. Changes are as follows: *Updated the logic that offers to apply the edited chord's fingering to matching chords that are missing finger definitions so that they can be applied to chords that have string mute status (and matching fret numbering). *Fixed a bug with GH import that would prevent QB format charts from being imported. *Improved GH import to suppress warnings about all off-beat time signature changes after the first offending one. *Added a new GH3 MIDI variant written during MIDI export. This MIDI file is the same as the normal MIDI, but the forced HOPO marker is written with a length of 0 delta ticks instead of the full length of the affected note. *Fixed a bug where setting an unsupported grid snap count (higher than 64) while grid lines were displayed could cause EOF to crash. *Increased the maximum custom grid snap size to 96 and added 1/64 and 1/96 built-in grid snap sizes.

@@unjinx69, well there is three more options for you: 1) best is to get Multitracks version of CDLC, so you have isolated instrument and able to listen to whole song + your tone 2) Adjust song volume a bit lower than your instrument(about 75/100 is song volume/your volume would fit well) 3) ignore all the thing and get metronome arrangement, mute song volume completely and practice like in GP with metronome, @@Azrael have some of thees ;)

@@unjinx69 you can't just mute the lead guitar in the backing track. There's CDLC that have multitrack version that allow you to play without the part you are playing in the backing track but they aren't legion. One thing you can do is lower the whole backing track level in the mixer (you can access it via the pause menu in a song) so that what you are doing is standing out in the mix.

Everyone does not learn and progress in the same way so with that said this is what helped me. 1. Finding easier songs in Rocksmith that are in my reach (beginner level) to earn a gold pick. The gold pick on a song in Hard Score Attack is my goal and 100% is my ultimate goal so that gave me motivation. I have to at least like a song to want to play it. If I love a song that's even better. I love Satisfaction so it was fun (not work) to sit down in riff repeater for hours to learn it because I love the song. I started out slow on the solos and slowly played them faster until I got to 100%. Also that song is is at my current skill level. I'd love to play Highway Star but it is out of my reach. My renditions are not great, but I do enjoy playing and over time I've gotten better. So... set a goal that is achievable, then when you reach it set another goal. It sounds dumb but I felt great when I finally got a gold pick on 7-nation army rhythm path. That is a super easy song but it was a milestone for me. I was off to the races after that. See the link in my signature if you want to see videos of easy RS songs. 2. Use video teachers on you tube. There are a lot of good ones. If you need help with finger placement for a solo or something look there. If you need help with a technique look there. I've never used a real live teacher. It may help I've just never done it. I am 100% taught by RS and free youtube lessons. 3. You will play more if you enjoy it. I enjoy learning new songs so once I learn one I will play it again but not probably every day (exception "Satisfaction"). If you hate your time with the guitar you will do other things with your time. If you love your time with the guitar you will find time to play. I don't "practice" per se, I learn new songs and play ones I know. Perhaps I am not advancing as fast as I could with a real "practice schedule" and a teacher led method but I am having fun. If I hated time with guitar I would not get better since I'd avoid it. 4. What is your goal? Mine is to have fun and learn new songs. If you want to play in a band or play professionally you are going to need to map out a plan. Steve Vai did that and practiced 10 hurs a day because he loved to it. He said it was not practice to him because he loved it. I would hate his 10 hour schedule but good for him. He found his love and set his goals and achieved them. Good luck!

I would love to see more songs by third day especially with Christmas coming up.

I'd love to have "show me your glory", "angels we have heard on high", do you hear what I hear", "your words", "call my name" and "I need a miracle". The music seems pretty simple and I was going to try to make the cdlc but couldn't find the tab on guitar pro, I did find "call my name" on guitar pro. I haven't tried to make a cdlc yet. I was going to try, but I don't know how to start without a tab from guitar pro. Thank you for taking the time to consider these songs.
