I never seen anyone compare Metallica to Garbage, that's two complitely different bands, but yeah I have to agree both are really good. Garbage got official dlc, so I can understand the sentiment, but I'm ok with cdlc for Metallica.

i know what you mean, i always miss a lot in the short solo that included 14s-16s. that is now (correctly) on 9s-11s, i've played the song at least three times but it always catches me by surprise xD (and it's one of the easiest mini-solos)

stupid question: do i have to delete the older version? i kind of feel attached to it now :PYes, you should delete the old version from game folder. It's still the same song just with more accurate tabs, so you will love it Alright, i've tried the new one and the solos make much more sense. I just have to re-learn a few parts (i got to 93% for now) thank you very much for doing this!

Heheh I feel exactly the same way @@missis sumner :) It does baffle me how some songs that, for me, are brick hard, are easier for others but we're probably in similar ability brackets elsewhere... to measure ability is too complex for my mind-brain. I canne get my head round Alanis Morisette AT ALL, I was wondering if I must have been playing an elite version of it or something that had been penned by "Bassy McFacey-Bassington of Bassingstoke" (A purely fictional bassist who is awesome and stuff) ! All of these songs I played once through on "Learn a song" then once through on score attack. The Big Gun riff is pretty tricky, but it's not that bad and it's one of like two riffs in the song. The Alanis Morissette I probably did especially bad on because of lots of string skipping and (sometimes unnecessary) fret hopping and such in the verses. I should be able to get a handle on it before too long with RR (but why is the second verse one big section? The first verse had two sections that were just muted and unmuted E2's.). In Cities on Flame I had trouble reading one of the riffs at the end in real time, so I'll probably just RR it to figure it out and memorize it if I want to do better.

It is frustrating and time consuming at first but once you have it down it doesnt really take that long to create a song for rocksmith. Plus its really cool to see youtube videos of someone on the other side of the planet playing a rocksmith song you created for people. So dont give up!
