  2. Where did I put my gloves? It's been so warm here recently I haven't needed them for a while. Oh, there they are. *Throws down the glove* http://i.imgur.com/v48iQ5M.jpg @@then3verend - here's a longer term goal for you :P I don't really know how this happened. This isn't really the type of song that I would have said was my strong suit (well, it does have some parts that are just "play this note fast", which is pretty much my specialty). I'll try to do a video at some point, especially if I feel a performance of this caliber can be repeated or exceeded. Edit: Video added, but now removed from youtube. Probably not unexpected, given that you pretty much can't find digital versions of the studio version of 21CSM anywhere.

Checked tuner all fret above 12, at 12th fret, intonation perfect, but after 15 spot that there is all tuned 3-5 tick up. so checked other guitar and is have all perfect. Now there heavy gouge and setted high action , but anyway score improve. Proof: http://i.imgur.com/KDaZRmx.jpg

  5. Ok, new MasterClass bass will be on as soon as I check it out. My poor guitar skills does not let me tell if there is something wrong with the tab, so be careful there  If you have any issues with cdlc let the charter know. But always be polite. This guys are really nice so don't be harsh on them. Always try to talk. We're all here because we love music :)

  6. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=441293612 been out with a twisted back, so thought i'd start off a little lower. the way i'm playing i may not get my level, but at least i can hold the guitar in my lap now has anyone had any issues with the bass joachim duetchland (sp) song? i don't know if it's my tuning or what but it seems every time i move from g5 back to g3 is fails to recognize, but if i move up from g1 theres no problem. just curious. like i said i've been out a bit so it's highly likely me.

  10. Here comes new MC bass initially selected for week 51 (I had hard time selecting this one): Bass Path: Masterclass: King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man (This is a link to Karmeleaux's version. Frippchen did his own, but I don't know how they differ in bass. Karmeleaux's one has multitrack, and well, I played bass only in that version :P ) Great tune, you should like it :) In my personal opinion it's one of the greatests songs we ever played in Championship.

  11. Well @@Van-Blurten, I did another run of the lead IM and recorded it. It's a very sloppy playthrough, but I hope it gives you some help in one way or another. Here's the video... Thanks @, I tried the best I could to match Gary's tone, I hope I was able to accomplish it. :)

  12. Chatting with @ this afternoon about how long the game would lit up the tail of a sustain, in my case, I have a long sustain, while @ was having a short one. He had the real-tone cable volume set in game at -1.2dB, which is the default, if I'm not mistaken. My real-tone cable volume is at 7.0dB for guitar and 7.5dB for the bass. I don't have static, noise or overdrive, the sound is always clean on both instruments. After telling this to @, he started changing the value and because his guitar has much better pickups than mine (mine are passive and his are active, not to mention his are EMG :D), he set the final value to 5.0dB and with that value he doesn't have noise, etc. and the sustain is much longer. We thought it would be a good idea to post this, since it can happen to someone else, which in that case that someone else already knows what to try and probably fix the issue.

  16. I'm glad to hear that @@MaZtoR, but the cable volume doesn't affect the bends, I should have said that in the other post I made before. @ mentioned something that I also noticed on my guitar. With the chromatic tuner, I have all strings in tune, with perfect pitch, the same with 12th harmonic and note, so the intonation is perfect. I run the game, go to the RS tuner, all open strings are in tune, 12th fret harmonic in tune, 12th fret note on the G, B and high e goes a bit sharp, +5/+7. On the high e, after fret 15, omg, it's a disaster, most of the notes are way sharp, the tuner shows values of +25/+30. So, what I do when I play songs that have tons of bends on the high e > fret 15 is flatten the string after passing the tuner (I drop it to around -15/-20 in the RS tuner). 75% of the time it helps to get the bends registering (and it doesn't interfere with the recognition on the rest of the fretboard or even the open string). I also play the bends that have long tails up-down-up-down-etc. until I see the tail lit (or when playing in SA, when the speaker shows "late"). I'm pretty sure this is different for each guitar/player/system, so I'm just referring to what I experienced with my equipment. I don't know if you already watched the video I have posted on the custom's thread, I got 91.12% on that run and I played in SA, so you can see that I managed to get a few of those bends registering, not many, but more than when I don't do what I mentioned above.

  17. Well you don't need the dll and the patcher, just one or the other (preferably just the dll). Also why didn't you get cherub rock? Would make your life much easier! I'd say install fresh and try again. and make sure you are trying out a cdlc that has positive feedback so you know it works.

  30. Im happy its rush, but why not change it for another rush song of equal difficulty? Maybe Anthem? Its got some fun bass riffs. I found another file of working man here ---> http://customsforge.com/page/customsforge_rs_2014_cdlc.html/_/pc-enabled-rs-2014-cdlc/working-man-r1401i'll test it out and see if its at least do-able for bass. If not i feel we really need a song change.

  33. It's funny that you mention that, I never knew for sure, but from the songs I've played from him, I had that distinct impression and when making the lead tone(s), I always have that in mind.... I can't "emulate" the $2000 pups, but so far I think I've managed to get the tones not so bad. Now I also understand the amazing tones you have on both customs you made from Mr. Moore. :D Thanks for the info @@Van-Blurten. P.S.: I'm not even close one of the best players on the CS, I manage ok in IM class on guitar and ADV on bass, that's it, but if you want me to record a video playing the lead IM arrangement (having in consideration that I used to suck really big time in this type of arrangements), just let me know, it's no trouble at all.

  34. I agree with Mortalo here. I really love Rush (and prog in general) and this song is amazing, i was completely surprised with the score, because the solo is damn hard. To master an instrument and play really good, you need patience and practice, but most of all patience. If you're not patient with your instrument, you will not go further D: And later, practice the song over and over and over again until in a blink of an eye, you mastered it! If you don't want to play Rush, ok! but we will play songs like these on the Championship, with killer solos from Metallica, Megadeth, Dream Theater and more! so i encourage you to keep going and keep practicing, this will challenge you to improve.

  40. As I mentioned to you earlier: amazing. I am attempting to get my violin set up like you did. Just experiencing some tuning issues. I PM'd ... you about it. I think you are the pioneer of a whole new movement: bass, cello, viola, violin, ukelele. Perhaps we don't even need to limit ourselves to string instruments. Maybe wind instruments are possible. Imagine playing Baker Street on the Saxophone in RS. As I have shown you I have gotten the acoustic guitar to work in RS. Plays with 100% accuracy!!! Here it is again. Remember I suck at guitar still so the misses are only due to my poor playmanship. Imagine even a harp. I swear I'd rent or buy a harp just to try that. The possibilities are endless! Imagine the piano! Woh, piano, that is huge!!! Once again brilliant work Daikano! I see a near future where there is a section on CF dedicated to "Other Instruments in Rocksmith". This is huge!
