Missed a week, then back for an easy side of advance bass song. Life is good?

Someone smash my score's face in so that I can try to get my score higher or meh, maybe I'll practice that thing with 6 strings on it. Or maybe I'll get distracted by . . . hey what's that!

Hey all.

 

Happy to see my song choice selected - Hammerfall. In general I believe it's a pretty straightforward song besides the solo part on the sweeps part. I didn't manage to do it before hopefully with intense playing this week I'll get better in something that's not my forte.

Hi, what a nice week !

I would have love to play Queens of the stoneage a lot more and Hurt, what a song ! I couldn't believed it was a cover. Johnny Cash's version is just perfect.

I'll be away for 2 weeks, have fun without me ;)

I'll be getting that 100% here soon or my name isn't Pin "Mother F-ing" Kushin!

Quite liked the Queens of the Stone Age song, first one that resonated with me.  

Lead had some parts that threw me.  Not sure with the slides and bends that it is a 3.

 

 

 

Really enjoyed the bass part!

 

Going to have to practice my arpeggios...lots of improving to do on this song.  Cash sure makes it his own tho.

 

Heads are going to roll...lots to work on.  I suspect others will make this look easy!

Good songs this week. I decided I'm just going to try everything. I gotta say Hammerfall is really fun to play. Until that whole sweep picking part. Its hard but its fun.

Good songs this week. Only had time for bass though. Never heard them before and just did SA.

I thought Hammerfall is kind of falsetto gay-metal, but it actually sounds pretty good :) or was that Dragonforce?

And yeah, why does it say Fingered? Definitely pick more appropriate here!

here it is. what was one weeks work then is easy now in a couple of tries even struggling with chord detection. sounds fine.

First for the week.

 

 

It looks like the new version of Hurt fixed the note detection problem with the partial chords in the arpeggios that the old version had.  I practiced them like crazy last time just to find out that they still would not detect most of the time.  Ended up with a 92% last time. I should be able to beat that this week.

 

 

Another advanced week with Swedish metal.  I like.

 

 

Judas is always fun to play and enjoyable to listen to.
