@ I tried to play it as double-stops apreggios on high e and B strings. I can't produce sound from tapping when fretted note is so close to tapped note.

edit- but tapping should work. doesn't matter how far or close the notes are

RR'ing solos is just not that fun to me. Or I can say that RR'ing something that I can't 100% is not fun. Speed will come, practice is what I need.

Don't see it as tapping. just stretch that pinkie all the way from the 14 to 17, 10 to 15 and so on. Spamming hammer on's and pull off's seems to do the trick for me.

  I just play it with hammer ons and pull offs.    Its way to fast for me and i just got lucky one time.  I have played the song several times more and spent some time in riff repeater, but i cant beat my fourth try.

i also did a 99.7 on bass but didn't screen shoot....... too excited hahahahaha

I tired now Dexy`s bass, and come out at halfway, bcs of terrible index fingers, instead normal way on 5th fret, there a lot open strings, hard to read and hard to play, not fun ever. Sorry that so, a bass line sounds nice.
