@@bernixix I noticed that while lead is in A438, rhythm is not, but you probably would like both "guitars" to be in traditional E std. Though I can be wrong :lol:

@@Mortalo You're right I noticed I forgot to change it as well on rythm thou wanted to ask about that cus I happened to be tone-deaf to appreciate the difference between those tunings on guitar. But gotta say bass sounded a bit better in A438 Hz!

You ofte have different tunings in old recordings caused by maybe different tape speeds or maybe tuning by ear...
The 440 Hz thing became as standard in 1955, before is was different in several countries.

Cool tunes this week!

 

Just RR'd that section in the middle but got a little sidetracked trying to do 'squeelies'.....I still suck. Enter Sandman is great fun to play too. I'm hoping to devote a little more time to the rhythm path this week.

Intermediate Bass - 99.91%, 824 streak

I can't get the 100%, always one note somewhere...

 

MasterClass Bass - 98.12%, 119 streak

I was stuck at around 93%, but then I went to Riff Repeat it and here it goes. I'll give it more tries and try to get above 99%.

I'm not feeling this weeks MC bass path. Sure it has a pretty tricky part midway through the song but, i just don't feel like its MC worthy. I know we cant have crazy songs all the time, but MC is suppose to test our abilities as a bass player. If anything i would score this bass under Advanced. Its going to end up being a points battle with 3 people already having 100%. I don't know man...Hopefully next week will be awesome. Also, i guess i'll submit my difficulty level for this song as a 3/10 on Bass for Mr. Sandman.  :mellow:

And I am back.  I had a trip to the hospital full with ambulance ride and morphine o.o .  during my trip I found out that a kidney stone is very painful , I don't recommend the experience as it was also very expensive.

this weeks MC bass I like it  not perfect but close enough for me.  hearing this song makes me think though. . . . . 

Have you been in a studio. no auto-tune and those girls hitting all those bum bum bum bums  in perfect key. how many times did they mess up did one of them get P/Oed at the others  and how tired of recording it must they have gotten. Maybe i am reading into it a bit much.  anyways.
