Tonights small improvements are once again on bass as I use bass to warm up then get involved in the songs and have to get a better score so carry on and run out of time so i don't start on the guitar, it is like i'm addicted to it, so to speak. anyway, and....... hopefully tomorrow I will have no treble fighting this addiction, and get on the 6 strings again :P night night all

A: The remaster update slightly changed how the camera is handle in game so CDLC that don't have section have now different camera issue than before that are more problematic now. Note that not having section also means that Riff Repeater (RR) isn't available in game and also means that the play count won't be incremented every time the song is played. If you find such CDLC, alert the author of the problem and report the CDLC to us via the appropriate report button. Q: The play count isn't getting updated when i play CDLC, why? A: The remaster update slightly changed how it counts the number of time someone play a song which seems be related to DD instead of only section as it was before the remaster. Make sure to have Cherub Rock DLC to be able to use CDLC. Q: Is Ubisoft trying to ruin CDLC? A: No. When they updated the game, the executable file changed which is why the dll needs to be updated, it's a side effect of software programming not a voluntary maneuver to break up things. Other issue arise by the discrepancies between how CDLC and ODLC are made, they aren't 100% similar inside and some of those differences can be put to light when the game changes how it react to some information. This is not ubisoft's fault as they never provided CDLC or mod support in the first place and when the main code changes, is it our duty to fix our mods to make the CDLC work again.

@@raynebc - It sounds like that would fix the issue where sometimes the notes and FHP move slightly off beat and when resnapping notes the FHP get all messed up, so I'd definitely be in favor of that. Possible downsides that I could see are if someone pulls an individual note that starts an FHP past other ones or something like that (but I don't see much reason why that would be done). Otherwise, I find it hard to see much reason why this would cause problems. On a related note, would it be possible to have (possibly as an option that can be toggled) something where if you copy a set of notes with FHP and paste them that the FHP move along with them? This isn't a big issue, but there are have been a few instances where it would greatly simplify the process of producing accurate FHP. Also, would it be possible to make it so that lyric highlights get copy/pasted along with the lyrics (particularly for multi-line things like a full chorus)? I've found it more efficient to copy/paste them than trying to tidy things up individually for each chorus, and if the highlights came along with the paste it would streamline the process even more.

@ all who want to fix the 100% issue, realize that if you use the remastered batch or the new toolkit while creating new arr-id everything would be reset, also the leaderboard in SA, every single version will have it's own LB. :o important for not resetting the stats is to use the remastered.exe-pre batch. if everyone just uses the remastered.exe batch for his cdlcs this also will destroy the shared leaderboards!!! save the Leaderboards

Song Selection was tough that week... However i think it worked out nice.. So what do we have: What´s up - well the Random Nr Generator put a smile on my face... i put that song in the selection list 2 years ago, but that version lacked bass, there was no reply from the author and by then i didnt know how to chart... nice that suddenly there is a complete ver and @ brought it to surface. I've got that logic updated. I can even have it automatically move a fret hand position that is defined at the same time as a note that is being moved. Are there any downsides to including that capability?

Make sure you have the latest dll, large red banner top of this page, make sure its in the proper folder and is named correctly and there is no other dll by the same name in there. If there is delete it, start rs, go into learn a song, then back out of rs, place the dll in the folder you should be good to go.

Talking shit doesn't help anyone, and could make matters worse. If they had set out with the intention to break CDLC, it would've taken a lot longer than a few hours to get it working again. Let's not poke the bear, since it's been so kind as to not try eating us. 606

Ever heard of the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, yep, Buckethead made a great track about it. It's the kind of injury that results by forcing speed, in which case muscles and nerves gets too much for what they are used to. I had and still have some nerves inflammations in my hands and elbow, not sure if it's the guitar, the brain job with mouse and keyboard, or a bad back sitting too long. I get rid of them by muscle training, strengthening fingers, hands and arms. I know its hard to respect, but whenever you start getting fingers tensing, you should stop. There are a lot of warm up exercises recommended by the best players on youtube. (like John Petrucci) I know that instead, we just pickup up the guitar, we listen to the music, play the hell on the limit or above our level, but we never listen to our own body.

I bought Cherub Rock and tried a bunch of songs following the above instructions. I even tried the patch and 2 DLL files all I get is Amp Freeze. Don't have a clue what to do next. Help
