Also, for whatever reason I find open strings much harder to read than fretted notes in Rocksmith, and there are more in your version. Riffs that rapidly switch between open strings are the bane of my existence, not that there are any in this particular song.)

Thanks very much for starting this project! I used to play violin at school and when I left school the 60s scene started and lots of people started playing guitar, so I stopped playing violin and began learning guitar. About ten years ago I had the urge to start playing violin again so went and bought an electric violin. Played for a few months and haven't touched it since When I saw your project it has encouraged me to start playing violin again. As I've posted several CDLCs for guitar and bass and watched your video about tuning etc. I think I'll be able to do some customs for violin. I've been working today on a violin part for Eleanor Rigby and I'm pleased with the results. Update - after playing this several times I decided to make this better by tweaking the chart. I did a video again. This time without the original audio to avoid copyright issues. This meant playing the song without any audio as well (I thought of trying to play it simultaneously from an outside source, but I had no idea how I could sync that up, so I decided to forgo trying that). It's really hard to play this song without all of the audio cues from the other instruments. I especially had a hard time with all of the sections that go above the 12th fret. Somehow I still managed the same score as in my previous video version (97.23%, but I didn't show the screen, just in case). Anyway, here it is:

Dude that is awesome! I was actually considering making a violin and cello custom of Eleanor Rigby since I've dropped the violin (mostly) and moved to cello. I don't know why the game recognized much better the bends on that run, I think it was the 1st time I saw so many getting recognized. I only use the real-tone cable connected directly to the PC, I don't even have an amp :mellow: .... maybe the game has better recognition with a "direct" connection, I have no clue.... btw, I'm just saying this cause I have the idea that you have a "system" with pedals, I remember seeing a picture that you posted with the connections, right @? So, here's the video.... (after watching the video I got a little angry with myself.... I missed quite a few notes that I never miss.... the score could have been higher and I doubt I will ever make a run with all those high e bends registering :angry: )

@@Kaijin EQ not very help my, maybe 2-3 bends only registered. It is hardcore fighting with recognition, my best streak ~230, but then started highest bends and miss, miss, miss... Everything is ok, thanks a lot for all your work on the toolkit, it's extremely useful. :) I just downloaded v1.6.2, and after 5-10 minutes testing, I didn't find anything wrong, all that I did worked perfectly. As I said before, my PC is running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and I have .NET Framework 4.5.2 installed, as shown in the pic below..... http://s6.postimg.org/4orbvn7ip/screenshot_37.png I have 220 files in my dlc folder, the toolkit read them all without showing any corrupted file or duplicates and it shows all the known and correct tunings...... http://s6.postimg.org/i6y87xjo1/screenshot_38.png As far as I'm concerned, v1.6.2 is working flawlessly. :D

@Kaijin As always, your feedback is really appreciated. Hope all is good for you. @Kaijin, @Bluetac and @bainies I just upload a new version of CGT that should fix any issues you were having, including the one with tuning "Other". The new version will also put all duplicates at the top of the table so that you don't have to scroll down much to find and remove duplicates. As you find corrupt CDLC you may want to post them for @lahelio so he can add them to his list of crashers and jammers. The new version of CGT provides much more detailed information about corrupt CDLC than ever before. Edit: @lahelio the new CST CDLC error messages includes specific details about what makes the CDLC corrupt. I remember you had questions about this in past.

@@bernixix, just try my version, it's maybe more accurate. I tried yours, and I think it's pretty much the same, except a weird thing where all of your notes are half a step down from the ones in the other version. Some things are also moved to different strings so there's less shifting. Other than these two factors they seemed pretty much identical for the bass. It is the same song and the other version isn't wrong in the bass arrangement, that was at guitar. That's why both versions are nearly the same. Mine seems to have better handshapes, I always recommend versions of mine if available.I made it from scratch and also used my own audio file. For any reason my audio version is one halftone deeper so I had to write it down in the appositely key.

This isn't really the type of song that I would have said was my strong suit (well, it does have some parts that are just "play this note fast", which is pretty much my specialty). Intermediate Rhythm - 96%, 360 streak Beginner Bass - 100%, 254 streak, 1.222.232 score MasterClass Bass - 91%, 229 streak There are only minor differences here and there between the two versions, unless the first crazy part but that just too much for me to notice :lol:

Checked tuner all fret above 12, at 12th fret, intonation perfect, but after 15 spot that there is all tuned 3-5 tick up. so checked other guitar and is have all perfect. I changed my cable gain from -1.2dB to 8.1dB. It really improves your sustain, and helps with hammer-ons/offs. Bit it did noting about the note detection on high note bends. @@Nacholede Thanks for encourage, it works, and i will try. I love championship for it, support, encourage, nice community. I hope see your video playthrough after practice, and may be "before" for comparing, as lords can improve sounds after week practice. Knew one men, early, don`t remember exactly who it was. He has average skill, but very wanted to learn one great and a hard song, with hardcore solo. He practiced every day at only one a song, step by step, leveled up speed solo, and after ~3 months he awesome played full song. Very impressed. @@Kaijin You did very good tone. I'm no where near to be able to play the Lead ADV songs, sometimes I manage to get a score a little bit higher than 80%, but it's around that percentage or lower. I think "The Loner" is as difficult as the other songs and like I said above, I'm pretty much managing to play the song well, I would have a much better score if the damn bends on the high e frets >17 registered. But like I said, I played the song hundreds of times, literally.

If fair, i do not understand the point of view - selection a hadcore song for challenge, wich impossible learn in during one week. For play random notes in solo part, who find more luck or for what ?
