Tried improve my score, and fail, but make video. My main issue for good score, it is correct muting C5 and bend at double stop at 8th fret (seems D3). And off course terrible timing. Hope yet improve quality play, need more practice. Look at video and found it very helpful, so found some extra mistake in my play, which not see in game. Sorry video blocked in German.

Didn't want the MC bass guys to be the only 100%-ers. http://i.imgur.com/weHFe2q.jpg Didn't feel like this was my cleanest take for the most part. There were a couple of spots where I was astonished that I wasn't given a miss. Also shifted a few things from the A string to the D string (it's downtuned, but you know what I mean) as I felt they fit in more naturally that way (and I suck at shifting my hand along the fretboard).

@, it's already in dev build (as I remember all stuff can access it, you just need to know a link C: ) but dev build have no recent database and it's mostly for testing purposes, there is also metronome track, but tss, I'm not sure it would be in release build :) slap me if you feel like I'm oversharing info :(

Finishing up Gold Dragon, All 25 minutes of it, i'll release it as a whole song and in 6 parts.

Going to be looking into livestreaming some championship runs in the future. I think it would be neat :D

My version of RS2014 came with Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Boston, Alice in Chains, Def Leppard, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden.... do we have a different definition of "major"?

Hi, folks. The latest hotfix (r1398) is in the first post. Changes are as follows: *Altered RS2 export to prevent duplicate single notes from exporting in the event of overlapping arpeggio phrases. *Added logic to remove the possibility of overlapping arpeggio phrases. *Changed the handling of time signatures so that the denominator (beat unit) alters the length of a beat as it does in music theory. To prevent unwanted alteration for existing projects' beat timings, this is not enabled by default for existing projects, but can be enabled or disabled by going into Song>Properties and toggling the "Use accurate time signatures" option. This makes a major change with how time signatures are treated in EOF. To prevent breaking anybody's tempo mapping, this song property is not enabled by default for existing projects, however it is enabled by default for new projects/imports. @@Alternity Give this a try, it looked like it imported your sample MIDI correctly, but I haven't stress tested the new logic.

Good to know in case I ever need a second opinion or someone with good skills to test my transcriptions. I usually don't need it but I plan on doing some more complex stuff eventually where I'm not sure if I can handle it myself when it comes to testing. It would be a good idea though to just post the test file here, so that more people have a chance to give feedback. Or we could just pm all members of the SFAS to keep it closed off from the eye of the public.

Is a question of tastes. You are talking about very legendary bands that have more time in the music world but atually they aren't in the top,we are talking about RS audience (and thanx god for that). Meanwhile Metallica is still on top of that,not top of your granny old records. For those all those bands you mention,I still prefeer Metallica over all. And for Madonna please not mention her again fo the sake of all of us. ;) You are an old dude by the way. he's hot old, you're just young. I'ts not your fault you just don't know anything yet.

I can confirm for you that not everyone in the RS audience likes Metallica. I for one hate it. The musical preferences are quite wide. and age has nothing to do with that. I like power metal myself and almost non of the popular power metal bands have no official Dlc yet. But oh well that's what cdlc is for.

I listen to Metallica since the 80's and by the way James Hetfield is 5 years older then me.

If you define "major" as the bands/artists who sold the most records then The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc. would be on top of the list. The Beatles have sold more records then AC/DC, Metallica and Guns N'Roses together.

Why can't you would be the good question then.

First of all there are major Bands in Rocksmith. I.E. White Stripes, Radiohead, Pantera, System of A Down, the list goes on and on. In fact there's practically no non-big time bands in Rocksmith or Rocksmith DLC, disregarding the Developers' music. Second: I'm pretty sure if Metallica, a very popular and impacting band on the music industry (regardless of my opinion on them), isn't on RS by now it's because Ubisoft or Metallica can't or doesn't want to make such deal.
