Don't like them. I know playing against the grain of our usual tastes is enlightening but I'd rather play something I enjoy hearing. (Sorry I know there's a lot of Fish Bone lovers in here but sadly their songs are few and far between my cup o' tea.)

  14. ...And might as well do Int while I'm at it since I know/like the song: I had played the other version (not Plum's) before. This one made it harder for me to figure out the rhythm and sound right, but easier to get the 100% I think. Might have to load both back into the list to make sure about which one I prefer (been a while since I've played the other), but off the top of my head I think I prefer the bass in the other one (not that I can point to anything specifically wrong with this one).

  15. Still under the weather, but had to try out @@Nacholede 's version of Justice: Much easier to play (at least in my opinion, went from 95% on the other to 98% here), and to me it sounds much more accurate. Although I'm not enough of an expert to say that definitively. Still, thanks much for the revision Nacho -- I definitely prefer yours to the original/other one. Only negative thing that I would say is that the bass tone is too overdriven/distorted to me, but that is a pretty subjective thing and very easily remedied with a tone switch. I switched to a loud but clean tone, EQ'd pretty heavy to the low end to give it some muddiness (plus turned my tone knob down), and it blends in great to my ear. Thanks again for making your remastered version!

  16. I'd like to know as well. Nacho's version is amazing for the bass chart. So clean, so nice, so playable but it's substantially different than what was picked... ....I'll just leave my run on Nacho's version here http://i.imgur.com/p1cJXJw.png

  23. I also have tried the Nacholede's version in lead.... but for me the old version plays still easier (I practiced on this), especially the solo with better finger settings, but just my opinion. In Nacho's the Sections are not shown, all black, in RR you're blind, maybe a showlight problem......Anyway, got a new score of Bernixix' version http://fs1.directupload.net/images/150404/oz37u7do.jpg very small imrovement, this week the leading is up to Nacholede

  26. I'm still playing the old version from Bernixix, for me it's a good one, no wrong parts nor deviation compared with music. Just many tiny details to consider. As long as in Nachos version are still parts not correct (I didn't test) I will stay with this version, really no matter to change , I'm close behind you, Nacho, watch out http://fs2.directupload.net/images/150404/6zlpf3no.jpg

  28. It seems the main reason used to justify a 'genre' tag for each song is to help users identify music or songs that they'd like. That seems beyond the scope of CF. I think a more reasonable goal for CF and Ignition would be to help the users find CDLCs. If you don't know what CDLC you want, it shouldn't fall upon CF to help you with that. You've got 12k+ pieces of music to choose from and you can preview most of them. Just because you recently discovered the Yardbirds, it shouldn't be CF's job to point out Cream and Eric Clapton. There are many resources on the internet (many describe in this thread) that can help someone find similar music to what they like. Is't this what Pandora does for a living?

I found that the end part where it says to fret hand mute the D string, it won't give me the notes unless i leave the D string open. Once I figured that out though, made things much less frustrating.

Extremely fast with sweep picking everywhere, it's Eb drop Db but you should like it. 43. What is the proper tool? I've bought some nuts off Ebay - none of them actually fit, and I want to put heavier strings on my bass, so I was just going to use my Dremel to adjust one, or all five - by the time I get it right :). Well, I can't answer for sure, because only tomorrow I'm gonna get them from my friend. He knows a lot about repairing guitars and basses, so when this happened, I just called him and told him that the nut I got from the store was much bigger and didn't fit, which he replied "The 1st weekend that I go home, I'll give you a call and show you how to do it"... that's this weekend, so if all goes well, tomorrow I'll let you know what he used to do the job.

  48. Hi, folks. The latest hotfix (r1382) is in the first post. Changes are as follows: *Added the SHIFT+W keyboard shortcut to Song>Catalog>Add. *Fixed a GP import bug where tie notes that begin at different positions and overlap each other can end up using incorrect fret values. *Fixed a bug with Bandfuse import where down slides had the wrong end of slide position set. *Improved fixup logic so that when two sliding notes merge into a chord, the pitched/unpitched slide end position of the one using the lowest string is kept. *Added initial Bandfuse XML export logic. *Improved BF import to support up to 1000 tempo changes in a RIFF file. *Improved BF import to support lyric lines. *Improved RS import to take the capo into account when processing anchors. *Improved EOF to accept Bandfuse files (.rif) over the command line for import. *Removed the restriction that disallowed the File>Redraw and "File>Set display width" functions to be used from the menu. *Added the ability to import a Rocksmith XML file via the command line. EOF will prompt which pro guitar/bass track to import the content to. *Fixed memory leaks in Rocksmith import and musical MIDI export. Until I get a formal user preference for enabling Bandfuse export, you can manually have it create and Bandfuse XML file by pressing the pause key.
