Since it's Day of the Dead here in Mexico (Dia de los Muertos) and Halloween was a couple days ago I think it's ok to keep the festive day up.

All songs are from your guys suggestions, some of them were mentioned in dell o ween week, discord and in the ssl list.  I think this will be the first week I have made without  choosing one of my own suggestions so I'm proud of that lol 

These are the songs that are currently on the suggested list for those who are interested/ spoilers. they should mostly be sorted by key ands its most of the songs on the list

Andrew Gold - Spooky Scary Skeletons  - classic Halloween song

squirrel- nice old style afterlife song (which goes with day of dead since we celebrate those who have passed)

Fastway - Trick Or Treat  - From a horror movie called trick or treat.
Haven't seen the original one but I remember the trailer for the remake was on a DVD i used to watch as kid a lot and it gave me some nightmares. Couple years later I saw the movie and it wasn't as scary as the trailer Imo. The little scarecrow kid is so cute best Halloween outfit.

Bobby "Boris" Pickett & The Crypt-Kickers - Monster Mash another good Halloween song.  i think the bass could've been tabbed in less strings and it would've been easier to play but everyone has different playstyles. the piano path is pretty hard for me at least

Porcupine Tree - Arriving Somewhere But Not Here lyrics are a bit ambiguos but i think its referring to the "afterlife" and since day of dead is about respecting those who died + a little bit of the afterlife i thought it was an ok choice.

Neil Cicierega - Bustin - ghostbusters Halloween





There's lots of bass songs this week mostly cause I thought the bass paths were a bit easy in some of them so I added extra ones to make it a bit of a challenge and cause they were topic related

Like always if you liked any of the cdlcs or notice anything that could be fixed leave a message in the ignition page

Also I'm more than open to switching the ratings so leave a number when submitting results

First results of the week. Really cool songs. Specially liking the Advanced one "Arriving somewhere but not here"

Only thing: I was expecting the difficulty rating of 1 to be easier

Fun but pretty straightforward, I think this should be lower than an 8 rating.   I'd expect to see some players score 100 on this one - but not me since I'm still pretty shaky on my new 5-string bass.  

Although it's easy to get flustered on this one,  it's got just a few repeated sections so hopefully it's possible to improve with practice.

Yeah, i will have a lot of trouble with that solo, but i will stop being lazy and try to learn it through the week

This is one of those sounds that you just know you cannot play right in this life (in my case)

Beautiful solo, but this one will be hard to workout due to the lenght

Would be Interested In feedback on the lead part accuracy In Trick Or Treat.
I was pretty confident on the Rhythm and Bass,
But there were no tabs of this song so had to go by ear, and a couple of play alongs on youtube.

This a bit boring to play, not very suitable for championships. I was waiting for something other than repeating 2 chords, unfortunately it didn't happen 

I understand that this fits the theme of the week, so I don't object.

Quite difficult in solo parts, I would give it more than 5.5.

My favorite song this week! I've played the old CDLC of this song many times, I'm glad @ Emmy-Dell  create a new version of very good quality. Here, I think that difficulty 7 is a bit too much.

It's really hard and in some parts you have to stretch your hands over many frets.

@ cacahuate51  Thanks for creating the selection. I'll just add regarding the bass path. Wouldn't it be better to use Neil Cicierega song as a regular masterclass and Dokken as a bonus, because it's in B Std tuning? I haven't played any of those songs so maybe there are other reasons why it's better, I'm just referring to the tuning.
