Just a tiny improvement here, wanted to point out that this has 4223 bass notes - quite a bit more than the recent Iron Maiden song of similar duration- but it's not all that tiring to play since there is so much variety in hand positions and rhythms. And it's a lot of fun on top of all that...

i found the MiB one rather difficult.  However im still only really an intermediate player and dont have the technique quite down with my hand positioning yet

After a few more or less successful attempts the game said me "that's enough for you go to sleep" and start drop me with misses even on the 5th fret of the 5th string. Well... game... you're right...

yea thats due to rs mods. i had a similar issue and got tired of restarting rocksmith so i deleted rs mods/ folders that came with it and i no longer have that issue.

however now i cant just refresh the song setlist (which is good for when you make lots of test builds for cdlc since you no longer have to restart the game) so not sure which one is worse  xD

That's about 30 or 31 missed notes, based on a count of 4223 total notes.   Don't really know how to process that info. On a song of standard length, I would conclude there's still room for improvement with that many misses, but not really sure whether that calculus applies to a super long song...

I'm running Rocksmith on a Mac, so the issues may be completely different for a Windows machine.  But I found that playing a complicated song on Score Attack a few times physically heats up the computer to the point where the internal fan can't cool it down enough, and the CPU slows itself down resulting in very bad note tracking.   A small external fan powered by usb pointed at the vent on the back of the computer cools it enough to avoid this issue.  It's also helpful to restart the computer and not have any other apps sharing the cpu before starting Rocksmith.   If you have a record of your CPU temperature you can see whether your Rocksmith performance degradation is heat-related.  Of course just stopping play and going to sleep is   really good advice too - advice that I'm about to take...

Great songs this week, if you guys may do another spooky week i would recommend A Little Piece of Heaven by Avenged, would fit nicely!

Mesmerazing song, i can hit 100%, will try to do tonight.

One of my all time favorites, Kai Hansen is up there being one of the most influential guitarists for me, i just love this guy so much. Unfortunately i cannot match his playing, but at least i got PB in the song, congrats for the guys that can play through the entire song, it's a masterpiece.

Need a little work on the solo, it's a fun song to play. 

Will try to play the rest of the songs when i come home from work, overall not feeling great about my playing.

Some great guitar work in this one, some sections are way above my playing level but overall a nice song just wish it was a bit shorter.

I also saw I was promoted to Masterclass Rhythm, awesome!
I don't think I am a masterclass Rhythm player at all because I am bad at arpeggios, can't finger pick suck at certain styles (funk, jazz chords etc) however I'm happy to accept my promotion. I guess it depends on what you practice. Since I never play fingerstyle, it's not surprising that I'm not good at it—it's just not my thing. For instance, I think Fleetwood Mac songs are a masterclass in rhythm; there are some songs I struggle to play at all!

My main usage of the mods is to see the note played on the screen. Whenever there's a different tuning I need to tune my bass on the open string and on the 12th fret or else it's completely out of tune on the middle of the fretboard.  The neck is warped/crooked (for more than 20 years) but plays nicely on standard tuning 
May have to invest in some digital tuner (I still have an old analog tuner)

I'm thinking it's kinda accumulated error. You're playing and playing and playing and everything's ok. But over the time little portions of inaccuracies sums together that's lead up to misses. But that's just my theory and the main reason of it my hands of cource.

2% improvement on 5-string bass, I'll take it!  I think I may have even hit a few of those confusing green notes this time. 

PS Turns out that a tricky fast Dream Theater song may not be ideal for trying to learn 5-string bass.   The much easier Dream Theater song Along for the Ride https://ignition4.customsforge.com/cdlc/3363  is a lot  less stressful for trying to get up to speed  with B-E-A-D-G tuning (it actually doesn't use the dreaded 5th G string, so in principle it can be played on a 4-string tuned down to B standard, which however  is too low to be playable on my 4-string)
