@ Mikson  I'd be happy to add them to bonus! just wasnt sure if it would oversaturate but it seems like people are doing good enough anyways on bass so sure. That way we can play different songs in the future aswell.

calling all cars- we could probably add 65 days as mentioned before since its the better bass path. Didnt want to add bigles version cause its wrong in a couple of places. Only thing is since the names are identical you'll have to manually rename one differently (like by the creators name) just so it doesnt erase

A7x- Im kinda weary on just cause theres also a couple of bad notes in the middle of the song..but if you guys dont mind that i guess we can add it?
I could also add a7x rhythm path for a bonus intermediate since its kinda easy and a decent path

Mastodon- I meant to add it but i wasnt sure where to put it...infact wasnt even sure to put the guitar paths of mastodon in masterclass cause its not even really a hard song..its just powerchords and then the solo is the same shape moved around the fretboard no bends or harmonics or anything.. But the slides is what never allows me to get a good score...That may just be a me thing, so ill be happy to lower difficulty if you guys think it should be lower.

The bass is even easier cause it doesnt have the slides,no solo and its mostly two strings... there are alot of notes tho....so not sure if high intermediate or advanced?

This week I have less time, so my priority has been to get a decent score in bass-masterclass... I proposed the song when it felt way out of my reach.

I have been RRing the song for three days... Here is my progress:

I am surprised and happy to finally reach more than 90%!

Now we're talking! Felt like I was back in 2005 being introduced to the music that would make me want to pick up the guitar. Just a mention of Mastodon has me grinning from ear to ear at the best times. I had great time with all of these songs, wish I could get some more submissions in later on this week but just don't have the time right now. Anyway, I'm pretty content with my scores.

One of those sneaky songs that lulls you into a false sense of security and then 12-13 chord comes out of nowhere and messes your streak up!

Much like "Lived a Lie", slides out of nowhere ruined my 100%. I think this was the weakest of the chosen songs but that's not to say that it was bad, more that the others songs are better in my honest opinion.

Had never heard this one before but it's a great song, really good fun to play. Got the fingers stretching as well.

Same as the previous song, had never heard this one before but had a great time with it. Really interesting chords and little nuances that kept you on your toes.

Now this is where it felt like Christmas Day to me. Avenged were band of my teens and Mastodon have been my favourite band for the past 10 years or so. Both chosen songs  are from one of my favourite games ever and two of my all time favourite albums so I was very spoilt this week!

This weeks theme was a great idea, would love to see a part 2 of racing game songs in the future! Great work with the song selections guys and best of luck to everyone else with their scores for the coming week.

I played racing games a long time ago, mainly NFS (Underground 1/2 and Most Wanted). From Underground I remember mainly the theme songs, from Most Wanted there were a few songs, from memory I can name Disturbed, Bullet For My Valentine and Mastodon. Ah, it was a really long time ago, I didn't even know those bands back then  

Good charts to play this week! 

I liked every A7X song we played here, great band!

I haven't played this in a long time! This was a song available in RS right after installation, not DLC, unless something changed? Anyway, this chart isn't very difficult, but the huge amount of power chord slides makes it very hard to achieve a good score here. I'd give this a 7.5.

I generally agree with the difficulty ratings so good job @ cacahuate51 !

@daz40, Nope it shouldnt be final im still looking in it...When i regenerated the week/ winners it still didnt give you the win. I am not sure why...I dont really understand the react system yet. but hopefully ill get answers soon. sorry for leaving you in the dark, i just dont know how to solve it yet

Rhythm Masterclass 8  = Alternate Lead (as its more complicated and plays the harmonies of lead)
Rhythm Intermediate 5 (the one i just added) = Default Rhythm path (mostly is barchords/variations)

No! I played the rhythm path yesterday thinking I was playing rhythm masterclass and I achieve 98%. I thought you overestimated the difficulty a lot and then I saw the Alt. Lead path annotation 
This rhythm path is a maximum 7 diff for me, or maybe more like 6.5.

Well I'm just angry and tired of the song. Can't play this lead part on 1-2 strings clearly and exactly right. Well no and no. Will save my nervous and will stop to punch against the wall with my head like a ram.

These chords here are not easy to play without practice.

@ cacahuate51  Overall, I think you're rating the difficulty of this song a little too highly. For me the hardest song to play the first time was Calling All Cars. Since this is a 7, Blinded In Chains should be a 6.5 for Rhythm and a 7 for Alt Lead - it could be a 7.5 because there's some soloing there, not a typical rhythm.

oh... well i put that rhythm path in intermediate 5 (and at the time was thinking maybe too high) thats why i was saying maybe i had undervalued the difficulty

well it's definatley no plini chart ill give you that  kinda hard to find good masterclass lead/rhythm paths the hardest one i found in racing games was stop! by janes addiction which i was tempted to do but didnt in the end since i think it was only one path and its kinda an old chart...

i keep forgetting technicly you can put a lower rating song on masterclass thought 8 was the lowest...which i mean i guess it is (for masterclass) but when you cant find a harder song thats the alternative i suppose.

I have now switched the lead and alt lead to 7 ( they are basicly the same just different harmonies/positioning...which in some cases itd mean harder for rhythm but i dont think the "soloing" is too hard/ out of reach for a rhythm player....and raised the rhythm path from int 5 to 6 ...i think 6 is high enough since its just power chords and based off results, vodka was able to get 90% and got 69 on lead so thats a pretty big gap for it to just be a .5 difference imo....hopefully thats ok.. 

always open for feedback and don't mind lowering difficulties hehe

No, this result was the first of mine that I think to be worth to post here, because Rithm path of this song was masterclass. As you change it to advanced and put it's alt lead to be the master Rithm, I concentrate my efforts on alt lead, as I think now I'm on masterclass.

Didn't I get promoted to masterclass? On the begining of this week I think I saw on the first post that I was promoted to masterclass and now it disappears. If you all think I deserve to be at master, it's ok to me, otherwise, it's ok too.. it is up to you, but tell me so I don't spend my little time and efforts on songs that is not from my very level.

And yea sorry for switching numbers/classes i can see that being a bit unfair since not everyone has alot of time. From the looks of it none are really masterclass since they are all 7s but the highest one is mastadons hence why i put it in masterclass atm .

If i change numbers again this week to something lower or higher ill keep the songs in the same classes just to make it fair on the participants not spending time on a song thats not in their class.

So rhythm and lead
advanced try to 100 -> senses fail and avenged 7x
Masterclass try to 100 -> mastadon

I am not 100% sure on how the promotion works?...when i got promoted up it usually was when i got 99%+ to 100% on a high rated song in my class...

( looking at lasts week seems like bass was rated 6.5 and hence why the prompt didnt appear for @ Daz40  yet , as he needs to get 100 on a 7 not 6.5 (although maybe there is/should be something that promotes you if you get a couple 100s? )

While checking that week seems like you got promoted to masterclass RHYTHM week 567 (so maybe thats where you got confused,btw congrats!!) .
