Good advice about starting with a Cm barre chord.  I came up with a variant based on a different familiar fingering.  I start by playing the octave c (with finger 1 on fret 3 of the A string and finger 3 on fret 5 of the G string).  Then my finger 2 is already hanging pretty much above fret 4 of the B string and it's not too hard to find fret 6 of the D string with finger 4 once everything else is in place.  It's not a barre chord this way - works for me in any case,.  I realize nothing is one-size-fits-all....

PS I feel a bit sheepish as an intermediate-level guitarist discussing chord voicings, but here goes one specific to Sweet Home Chicago and similar blues songs. That E7 chord voicing that everyone hates so much works well as a barre chord, because it's then very similar to the familiar barre D7 voicing except with fingers 3 and 4 move up to higher strings and finger 2 just drops into place.  Then it's much easier - at least for me - to slide that chord as a barre chord, something that happens a lot in Sweet Home Chicago.  It's also easier - again for me - to transition between that barre E7 and the barre A7 and B7 that also occur a lot in the second half of the song.

Here's another tip it also works if you just play the d g and b string and omit the C on the A string shhhhhh!!

I'm on a Mac (desktop iMac from 2019) using an inexpensive Sterling H224 Audio Interface instead of a RealTone cable. The thing that makes it work on a Mac is this:

I am on a 2012 Mac Mini Server (I7 / 16G RAM), boot camp running Win 10 and a Sterling H224 Audio Interface also.  Used to run on the Mac OS and the interface setup was easy cheesy by adding the audio device in the settings.  Anyway, rock on, cool to see someone else with a similar rig.

I'm happy with this score, considering the low tuning and a few misses by recognition. Good chart.

Wtf? What a song 🤣

This is more fun on bass than on guitar, yes!

Yeah guys @ Daz40  @ cacahuate51  @ jimmy655  thank you for advices! I do trying to play it hard but speed of the song to place my fingers correctly is too fast. I'm tring to place my fingers with different "styles" to find out how to do it easy for myself.

It's hard to RR this part because it's too long so I just made a chart in EOF with 3 chords only. That one I really like and two extra on both sides. I chose wrong speed but that's ok.

So yes I will try it more and more. And thank you gues one more time. Let's ROCK!

Main problem now is pain. Left wrist hurts because of chords so I can't play it as long as I want.

I've been trying to add in my screenshot for Diary Of Jane but I keep getting told that I am exceeding the max total size of 439.83 kb so I'm having to think outside the box here and post separate snippets, sorry for the spam!

Limit now is set to 153.97kb, this is the best I can do I'm afraid

@ jimbobmccecil

You need to take a screen shot with steam or send to another picture storing site and post the link here

1. F12 to take the screen shot.
2. Shift + Tab opens the steam overlay while the game is still running. Click on screenshots and upload the ones you want.
3. Either close or Alt+Tab from the game and open the steam client.
4, Click on 'your name' >> content >> screenshots.
5. Left click on the shot you want to post, then left click on it again. It should spawn a smaller window with your screenshot in it.
6. Right-click on the shot and choose "Copy Link Address". Or click again and hit Ctrl+C
7. Ctrl+V the link in the reply box on CustomsForge. It will auto-replace your link with an image.

Guitar improvements

Platinum is great, but this pitch shift version sounds so bad that one attempt is enough 🙂

Plus rhythm that I haven't played before. 90% is ok because these chords are uncomfortable.
