CONGRATULATIONS @RODMAN FOR REACHING 10 YEARS OF BEING AN AMAZING HOST AND CONTESTANT!!!!!

I dont think there has been someone else or will be anyonelse as commited to achieve such a spectacular task!!! So In honor of rodmans 500 weeks of being here I decided we take back the road to memory lane of his 1st week in the championship (week 38)  and choose to play some of his picks.

Ratings might need modifiying cause I myself havent tested them out yet and the capo songs didnt have ratings yet. It's always good to know your guys opinion on the dificulty ratings so leave a number when posting! 
Also, unfortunatley the Evanescence song for the capo week is now dlc so I chose another song from them to fill in the gaps and still stay a bit true to the capo week.

Major thanks to @ kayteck  for helping me out again since I am technicly still doing this illegally

yup thanks for letting me know ! its now fixed!
that probably means its not the original one played that week..but ..hopefully it's alright or better since old cdlc wasnt always the best quality

I have also added an updated chart to babymetal song... apparently theres 3. Since @ Alan24 s is the most recent and he usually makes good dlcs I have linked his as the new version and still left the old one just incase anyone wants to go back to that one aswell

Is it me or does "Country Road" look much much harder than "The Unforgiven"?

1st playthrough test seems like an easy bass week


is this ai made? feels kinda uncanny not gonna lie xD rodmans taste always surprises me. although i do kinda like the ramstein esk sections


This may be one of the only country songs i have enjoyed  really neat and simplish to play



I'll change the evanescence to a 3/ 3.5 its pretty simple

I forgot to take picture of bass so I had to play it again

Pinky kinda awkward but yea its ok for int since theres only like 3 sections

This seems more intermediate than advance...Maybe I'll find a song in the suggestion list but for now I think ill just give it a 5

lots of shifting but lots of straight notes as well to keep the percentage high..not sure bout rating tbh. think might be higher than last weeks

@ cacahuate51  I started playing something and... I must say that the guitar paths difficulty ratings for John Denver's song are completely too low!
As the host of the week, you can (and should, if the ratings are incorrect) change ratings from the song suggestion sheet. In my opinion, @ Rodman  often underestimates difficulty of the proposed songs, especially if it is his CDLC.
In my opinion, lead is 7 - fast arpeggios and irregular ones (two high strings and a jump to low strings), although the chords are not very difficult, it is difficult to play them correctly while maintaining the tempo.
Rhythm is I would say 4/4.5 - the same chords but without arpeggios, we played many similar charts in the championship and they were definitely not rated at 2 (usually in the range of 3-5).

After testing them i can agree with @ BetterCallJamie  and you that they are pretty low

lead- the chords seem pretty standard to me but the fact that there is no hand shapes can make it difficult to sight read.
the picking style however is constant throughout...thumb thumb midle pointer..or down down up up if you are savage and are picking that XD...soo thats not too bad
The thing that is hard like you mentioned is the tempo. pretty hard to do that at that speed atleast for me it is.
 And personally i dont really hear the song actually playing those notes in that way...seems more of a rendition/cover/inspired piece ...which can also increases the difficulty 

The rhythm i partially agree with you? like above... theres no complex chords and only a handfull of them maybe  6 ? but mainly 4 .. I do acknowledge, though bar chords can be a bit of a pain for beginners.. however its not dificult enough imo to be intermediate.. how bout we meet in the middle with a 3.5?

I have a question about the alternate version of the Babymetal song.  I don't have a bass that can play B standard.  I can just barely tune down to Eb drop Db as on the alternate version.   I noticed the difficulty of the alternate version is rated 8 vs 7 of the B standard version.  Is there actually that  big difference between the difficulty of the two versions, or is that just that they've been rated by different people who might not be in agreement?

This is a shot at the "old version" (rated 8). The bass tuning is actually C#,A,D,G, so just one string feels like a floppy rubber band. Work to be done...

Hahahahahaha... when i started downloading the songs i thought.... damn what a damn great week! It´s almost as if i would have handpicked a few diamonds there. Well.... somehow that post clarifies why i like it. Thx you @ cacahuate51 , thank you people! Has been a blast all the 10 years and i am not stopping. Oh no. Have been just working with @ kayteck  to have the 10week leaderboard autoupdated every week, or rather he has been working, i might have been shouting from the sidewalk... Still so much fun and so much to improve everywhere and most of all it´s just amazing that 10 years after the software was released, now even abandoned still more and more players are joining our lil fiesta to rock with and against each other week by week. Yay. In the words of Joe Biden "Let´s keep going!"

At @ Mikson  - we shouldn´t mix things up: YOU are the one UNDERestimating the diffs normally, I do the OVERestimations, except that of course I got them all right no doubt, everytime I´ll report back about that one. Afair there are arpeggios also in lead - i cannot do those - so maybe my complete lameness acoounts for that. We will see.

In case you are wondering: The meaning of the song is  Ijime (Bullying),  Dame (Don't) and Zettai (Never), so you can translate it as "Never do bullying". It is actually a song with a cute and healthy message agains bullying!! In the chorus it also says "Kakko warui yo", meaning (bullying) "is uncool".
