Basses are easy. Not even Advanced one. Rhytms are fairly easy too, except Babymetal, which for me was really MC like.

I had hard time with Megadeth rhythm - got 99% on 1st try. It's easy, but has a lot of fast picking, which I think is not beginner.

Roses rhythm and BabyMetal lead is what I focus on this week.

No E standard this week! D, Eb Drop Db, Eb, Eb (lead wise).

Anyone else have problems with Falling Away from Me on bass?  It seems like it doesn't pick up half my notes.  I realize I'm new and all, but I'm not THAT bad. :) 

 

I've double checked my tuning to make sure that isn't the issue.  I wonder if it's from the rattle of the tuning being so low?

I had to do it on easy so I didn't fail out.  Not happy with my score, but I've played it 5 times, and it's not that hard of a song. :/

@@slooker you right it is terrible tuning, i use string on bass 55-110 and tried pass tuning 5 min. and in song half notes is miss. this a song not suitable for week challenge, and must be changed.  Not once was said that low tuning for beginner not allowed there (especially tune in A ).

@@Mortalo, please, change a song for beginner.

Like used to be in this situations, here comes the song already played (by one) in the Championship, this time in week 30. (I wanted to stay with lower tuning, to make you play others as well :P )

 

I decided to stick with new version of Korn's bass (it can change when I try it, though :P )

I got an idea to get back Falling Away From Me to bass beginner, what about the multipitch fix?

I can make a bass tone that emulates the A Standard tuning withouth moving from E

The 92.9% was at 80% speed, so if i can better that at full speed i'll be happy.

I really love this song, saw Korn live back at 2013 here in Argentina and they did a killer show! I just hope the bass tone with the multipitch works well!

Another amazing song, a great choice this week! I really hate that Rocksmith doesn't detect well the bends but what the hell...a great first try!

Megadeth is a very easy advanced bass song.  I just got 96%, first go, never having heard the song before with a few random note recognition issues thrown in...

 

I can't comment on the difficulty of the other songs though, as I haven't tried them and I'm off to work soon. :(
