  1. Okie dokie! New bass on my hands! Thanks SANTA! http://i.imgur.com/2VqiWSj.jpg 100% on Please Please please whatever... Funny thing: I watched Morrissey in Washington DC last year and while he was playing Meat is Murder the screen behind the stage was showing videos and pictures of a slaughterhouse. Some guy behind me fainted, like on top of me. Fun times! He was alright, but for a while he had this zombified look in his face! :P http://i.imgur.com/upgnGae.jpg Zero Visibility suffer from the same defect of Kill the King (TOOMANYNOTES): http://i.imgur.com/7YADlpK.jpg

A few celebratory doo-dahs after the derby, but I think I am still coherent enough to upload some belated scores. /Are we still allowed these:  :wine_glass: :cocktail: :tropical_drink: ? :D I have played it before, but my first go of the week: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKeHdxWHVGR2tYaDQ/view?usp=sharing This one I have played before and a couple more times this week: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKMlFHZUJFRGVQLVk/view?usp=sharing I know this song. I haven't played it before, and despite liking the Bee Gees it's not one of my favourites: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKdEM0Ymt0MTNyNG8/view?usp=sharing Still it might grow on me. This on the other hand, I've never heard before, but I really like: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKRXc3OFZNaXVSTE0/view?usp=sharing I will definitely be keeping my bass in E flat this week.

  15. @@Fraggle Baggle - how does it sound? :D :D (x40) And that is only the passive part - it features a killswitch to switch between passive and active (18Volt-Preamp - 2(!) 9vblocks) mode. It has a full 3Band Equalizer with the mids further divided in low and highmids... http://up.picr.de/27759804bb.jpg For my first runs i used passive mode cause i wanted comparison to my old bass. Review say passively it sounds like a classic 70s Jazz Bass, i say i am really satisfied. Beginning of next year i´m gonna have time to go deeper into testing with basslines i know how i want them to sound. I´ll report. I fear you are gonna have to answer the other question for youself ;)

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. This issue has been forwarded up to the development team for further review. However, that is all that we can do at this time, as we have no further information. You can find notifications regarding patches or known issues on our forums here: http://forums.ubi.com/forum.php We thank you for your patience and. understanding -------------------- Regards, David L. You wrote Dec 14, 2016 at 04:07 PM EST Since the patch yesterday, my microphones are forced into exclusivity mode by the game, which prevents me from streaming or recording myself. I have experimented with turning exclusive mode off in-game, and with making my mic non-exclusive in windows. This only results in the game no longer being able to detect my realtone cable. It seems that several people (many streamers) have encountered the same problem since the patch, and from what I can tell no one has figured out a workaround. Everything I try seems to either make Rocksmith2014 or OBS crash due the the mics constantly being put in exclusive mode (even when plugged in after the game has started and is running). The above is my interacttion with support - I'll let y'all know if I hear any more...

  29. Dear Santa Roddy, Have I been a good enough boy to get one of those Marcus Miller Jazz basses under the tree this Christmas. PleeeezPrettyPleeez. I know that chimneys are small and basses are big, so I would be really happy if you gave me all of the parts except for the body so I could make another of my homemade FreeBird creations.

  30. Christmas Wrapping ... I was working on it this last week, so this isn't a first try 97.67% I played it on this - 34" scale. Because it uses piano tuning pegs instead of machine heads, I tune it to D standard and put a capo at the second fret. That way I can down tune to Eb standard by just moving the capo.

  32. FreeBird Hijack! The six string virtuosos have their GoG competition (but whatever they do in the privacy of their own bedrooms is their business). It's time for a special bass only track - something for the festive season, yet challenging. In honour of Rodman's new bass for Christmas, I suggest Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses: http://customsforge.com/topic/33151-christmas-wrapping/?hl=waitresses Of course, being a FreeBird challenge, points will not be assigned. So all entries will be accepted and appreciated, be they emulated bass, tubas through microphones or kazoos through octave pedals. The wackier the better. Have at 'er! (and take that FreeBird police!)

  35. I've got that logic updated. I can even have it automatically move a fret hand position that is defined at the same time as a note that is being moved. Are there any downsides to including that capability?
    1 point
  36. If you mean the logic that automatically moves the lyric lines when all lyrics are moved, if expanded to cover arpeggios/handshapes, it would give the same effect as moving the notes and then manually re-marking the arpeggio/handshape. It would just save a step.

  37. Hi Draxxus, I am not aware of any tutorials on this. After all it's quite easy, but you have to know what to do :-) You have to be familiar with the process of creating CDLC, though. Even though there is also the "unpacker" in the Toolkit, I would give you the following advice: In the Toolkit (Tab "Creator"), hit the "Import Package" button. This will load everything into the Toolkit and now you could already alter stuff like tones, volume, CDLC name and just have to hit "Generate" to get the updated CDLC. If you want to edit the project in EOF, go to the folder "EOF" that was created. You won't find a ready-to-use .eof file there, but you can use those files to start a new project. Load the .ogg into a new EOF-project and then import the xml files from the same folder with "Rocksmith Import" (Watch out for what PC Plum said.. didn't know that) BAM! Now you have the complete project to manipulate as you like If you update the xmls in the EOF folder with the xmls that are produced when you hit save in EOF, then you just have to hit "Generate" in the toolkit to create the new CDLC(0.) When the original CDLC contained Dynamic Difficulty, I sometimes experienced weird things in EOF with imported projects. E.g. the highest difficulty didn't contain all the notes, but they were instead split among the difficulty levels... It will help to remove DD with the DDC in the Toolkit, before you import (step 1) it. Keep in mind: Before thinking about altering the original authors work, leave a comment for him and ask him to improve his CDLC himself. Give him as detailed feedback/advice as possible. And have some patience.Of course, never upload your edited work as a new entry and claim it is you own.If you feel like your changes turned out really good though, show it to the original author and ask him if he wants to publish your updated version (so the rest of the community can benefit from your work, too)I have done the last thing myself (I added vocals to a CDLC and gave the new file to the charter). I have also completely recreated an existing CDLC, because I knew the creator couldn't work on his version anymore and was ok with it. Nevertheless I think it's quite a pain when different versions of the same song appear in the search and not even reading the details/comments gives you an idea why someone had to make a second one and which is better. All in all: Handle this with care ;-) Regards, Azrael
