  1. Progress! http://i.imgur.com/KCpGhfi.jpg I butchered this solo, but still somehow went up a percent. http://i.imgur.com/I04pXZo.jpg Finally started on MC, did some grinding to catch up. It's no Deftones or QotSA, but it's kinda catchy. You guys are getting 98s?! I dunno if I've got that in me, but we'll see.

  2. Well i'm back from Deutschland with a bang, or more like a 0.28% pop really, however it makes all the difference...... then i had a go at the Pink Bass as i lost the screenie, i got 100% (again) then forgot to take a bloody screen shot !!!!!! then i thought i'd have a go at the lead as i had chosen it, and love it , can't have enough pink :P i suppose i better concentrate on my actual class tomorrow as i am a few days behind........ night night all

  4. I've been pretty ill all week (only a cold, and I'm on the mend), and lacked any strength/motivation to practice for any length of time. I think on Tuesday I didn't even play at all! lol Anyway, although I LIKE QOTSA, I haven't even had the drive to play that, because it's not my class, so I've done this instead: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKVUY4MHQxRkd5VG8/view?usp=sharing I've only tried it twice, but hopefully tomorrow it will have sunk in and I won't be playing "guess the note" midway through the song... Edit: I meant to say, I'm not playing it quite as it's charted. ;)

  6. Um...just wondering since it's been almost a week since I took the lead in the beginner bass table....when do I get my pick with the shiny hat? I have no life so I need pixels in the shape of a pick with a crown on it to feel complete! :P :D

  7. OK. I'm getting angry. That means I need to stop. Do not beat on the strings with angry force. Calm down. Gently place my guitar on the rack. Pick on the table. Deep breath. http://i.imgur.com/BH926MX.jpg

  13. Ok, I never thought to look at these level of details :D So, now, if we consider the changes of patterns of the carpet, I can affirm that DDC v3.2 fixes the issue. It fixes too the yellow number issue (in your second animated gif, you can see that the minimum fret is 4 but changes to 5 in the middle of the single notes sequence). Finally, we can add an other rule for RS2014 : - the first anchor of a non-empty phrase should always start at the time position of the phrase.

  16. Been slackin' a bit this week. Minerva seems so easy on the surface, but I keep making stupid mistakes and I swear getting the chord slide to register is about impossible. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/396707750011206126/626F1491CE74FC8125FACE96FEB033D448EE1569/ Took some time in RR just to survive Angry Again. Good song, but it's gonna take a lot more practice. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/428232315152430814/9DBF7587E8158681096B2656A764C768A66EE775/ Took a few runs at the advanced bass song as well. Fun song to play and the only song I actually did pretty well on. http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/428232315152413520/D397E11CB3B019F6B84000E1A612ED17742BD704/ Don't know if I will get to practice any more this week so these scores might be my final ones. I'll just have to redeem myself next week. :)

Tonights small improvements are once again on bass as I use bass to warm up then get involved in the songs and have to get a better score so carry on and run out of time so i don't start on the guitar, it is like i'm addicted to it, so to speak. anyway, and....... hopefully tomorrow I will have no treble fighting this addiction, and get on the 6 strings again :P night night all

  20. Can you share the psarc file without DD inside ? I would like to check if the new release of DDC solves your issue ... Thanks
    1 point
  21. Thanks for looking into this @@Chlipouni!! I will try to check out your new psarc tonight but it's tight for me this weekend and I might only be able to check Sunday evening. I did not invert the animated gifs in my earlier post. Top animated gif --> After DDC Bottom animated gif --> Before DDC When I say "floor FHP" that was in contrast to yellow highlighted fret numbers below the strings which are goverrned by the anchor XML code. Well both should be governed by the anchor XML code. The 'floor' refers to the actual note highway that changes from black to dark blue in the fret lanes with upcoming notes. It is the "floor FHP" and not the yellow numbers that are momentarily wrong in the space with no notes between section start and first single note in the section (B5). When you click the link to the 3 screenshots from post 338 where I did as per Rockfirstlast's suggestions of moving the FHP=4 to the beginning of the section instead of being at the first single note, B5, after section start, each screenshot behaves a bit differently. The 1st link (3rd occurence in the song) shows a momentary floor FHP=5, width 4, the animated gifs and EoF screenshot are based on this occurence. The 2nd link shows the 1st occurence of this same phenomena in the song, in this case with a "floor FHP = 3,width 4". The 3rd link shows the 2nd occurence in the song and it also has a "floor FHP = 3, width 4. Sorry if I wasn't clear on that earlier. In each occurence, the preceding event is the same power chord with same FHP. But really we only look at the 3rd occurence screenshot for which I provided animated gifs and EoF screenshot and solving that will solve the issue. Perhaps you've already solved it. :) Regarding: " but between the start of the section and the first note, there is no anchor and RS2014 uses the previous one of the previous section." There is an FHP definition, and by extension an XML anchor initially at the B5 note, but now at section start since Rockfirstlast's suggestion and shown with in-game footage in post 338. Regarding: "I will try to force the time position of this new anchor to the start time position of the phrase if the note is the first one in the current phrase." That is what I did in EoF upon Rockfirstlast's suggestion and the problem persists. So I'm unsure this will solve the issue. I will try my best to confirm late tonight. Soccer party till 3am & waking up at 5am to drive out of town 3 hours away..... but I am burning to solve this so sleep be damned. :) Bon weekend!!

  24. Yes, exactly as Firekorn wrote. I did set FHP of 4, for the single notes. I tried shifting it a bit to the left and to the right but the same problem occurred with DDC and did not occur without DDC. Thanks a lot for your attention. I really appreciate it!
    1 point
  25. @@Chlipouni The problem is that the FHP (or anchor) move in a way that isn't actually define anywhere in EOF by the user. The anchor move to the 5th position (with ddc) while it should move to the 4th (as define in EOF). DDC doesn't care about FHP that are define inside EOF if there's no note on that position which can lead to difference in anchor placement after DDC.

  27. Rio... I think that album cover has the same wallpaper as my old local... the band may have actually been playing in the pub when recording this because it sounds quite authentic to that kind of pub vibe :) nice tune... missed a note, not bothered to improve it though. 34. And regarding none of these songs at all: My first forays at busking were of mixed success. On my first day, I made $24 in less than an hour, and that was with 20 minutes of talking to people. Now expecting double minimum wage for making music, I got comfy and did three hours of it the second time. The first hour, not a single person gave me a glance. But then I played Ending Credits (which does not even have words in it), and people rushed me with toonies after I finished! Ended up making the same amount that day in the end. But it's not even about the money, really - I'm just having a good time performing in front of strangers again. I haven't been on a stage in years, and it's probably gonna be a while longer still, but busking gives me that same high. Also pays for my beer! Here's a shot a photographer snuck of me making a goofy smile while talking with an adoring fan: http://i.imgur.com/vXP1GhY.jpg

  38. @@Rodman "would it be possible to have an alternative version that does not update the arr. id´s for players in my situation?" For now it is an either or situation. Either you have buggy CDLC that have 100% result with your play stats. Or you have remastered CDLC with fresh play stats. Eventually, when there is time I should be able to fix CGT Game Save Gigbox to reset only the 100% bug in user profile. This would permit CDLC to keep its original Arrangement Identification as well as the play stats. NOTE: to all users make sure you hang on to backup copies of your original CDLC with the bugs. (You should be doing this anyhow, but just saying in case you are not.) Then in future we may be able to fix those originals and all your play stats will be back. There is no quick fix for user profiles, so plz be patient.

  39. Be sure to run the CLI once by itself and read the full help message. The CLI has been fully tested and is working as expected. Bug reports are welcomed. If you can't get the CLI to work then re-read and follow these instructions. If you still can't get the CLI to work, then wait for next release of CFSM which will include a GUI for the CLI. Always make a backup copy of your CDLC files before ever running them through any CLI. The latest beta version of the toolkit includes an UPDATED CLI (Command Line Interface) DropletApp for bulk remastering of CDLC for use with Rocksmith 2014 Remastered (RS14R). Basic CLI Usage (remastered.exe) for CDLC that have been played in RS14R and the song stat has changed to 100%: 1) The 'remastered.exe' file is located inside of the toolkit root folder. NOTE: The CLI is dependent on the toolkit so it must be run from (remain) inside the toolkit root folder. 2) Double click the apps icon to start the app and read the help screen. 3) Close the app by clicking on the 'X' in upper right hand corner of the Windows command window. Now for some fun! But first, did you take time to read the CLI help message (see Step 2). 4) Drag and drop a CDLC file or a folder containing CDLC onto the application icon. (Start small with one ore two CDLC files until you get the hang of the CLI application.) 5) Go get some coffee while magic happens, unless you feel like watching the feedback. 6) The CLI creates 'REMASTERED_CLI' subfolder in 'My Documents' folder. This subfolder is used to store the 'remastered_error.log' and (.cor) and (.org) CDLC files. The log file contains the file paths and error messages for any files that could not be remastered. 7) Be sure to remove any CDLC that has file extension (.org) or (.cor) from the 'dlc' folder (this is a VERY important step) The new version of remastered.exe CLI automatically removes/cleans the CDLC source folder. 8) Test and report bugs. "I can't get it to work" is not a bug. This version of remastered.exe offers several command line switches [option]: - Added option [-org] to remastered.exe CLI to permit renamed (.org) CDLC to be repaired by new CLI. - Added option [-pre] to remastered.exe CLI to preserve Arrangement Identification (song stats) - Added option [-ren] to remastered.exe CLI to quickly rename (.org) files to (.psarc) files - Added option [-log] to remastered.exe CLI to specify a customize path for the 'remastered_errror.log' - Added option [-sil] to remastered.exe CLI to run in silent mode so Command Window will close when finished. There are five new batch files included in the toolkit root directory which may be used to access remastered.exe command line options for bulk CDLC remastering using drag/drop: remastered.exe -pre.bat -- Preserve song stats for CDLC that have never been played in RS14R. remastered.exe -org.bat -- Remasters CDLC that have already been remastered (has file extension .org) remastered.exe -org -pre.bat -- A combination of the above (only works for songs that have never been played in RS14R). remastered.exe -ren.bat -- Renames CDLC that have file extension (.org) back to (.psarc) remastered.exe.bat -- Remasters CDLC that have been played in RS14R and the song stat has changed to 100% Batch File Usage (remastered.exe [option].bat) 1) Locate the batch files inside of the toolkit root folder. 2) Select (highlight) all of the 'remastered.exe [option].bat' batch files 3) Hold down the ALT-key and drag and drop the batch file shortcuts to anywhere you'd like, e.g. the desktop. 4) Locate the CDLC files and directories that you want to remaster. 5) Now drag and drop the CDLC files and directories onto the appropriate batch file shortcut. 6) Go get some coffee while CDLC are processed. 7) Be sure to remove any CDLC that has file extension (.org) or (.cor) from the 'dlc' folder (this is a VERY important step) 8) Test and report bugs. "I can't get it to work" is not a bug. NOTE: For very large CDLC collections ... user reports that multiple copies of the remastered.exe CLI may be run at the same time to reduce the time it takes to remaster an entire CDLC collection. Just split the large CDLC collection into separate root folders and drag each root folder to a new instances of the CLI executable or batch file. EzPeeZ ... Enjoy!
