@@Brooklyn_Sounds I've just tried the new version of 'Mercy'. :) I got one little remark on the tones. I think, that reverb tone after second chorus needs more gain or maybe you should change the amp. Also after those octaves in the bridge there should be a tone change back to distortion. It's where the power chords are. But anyway, thanks for creating this song, except the tones that I mentioned, everything is great. :D

For my, it not my class, and i don`t mind if it will changed, time for decision yet is. (at least lead). Now i see about 50% MC participants for changing lead MC and good weighty facts about bad tabs . Btw. Cradle of Filth too did not very good. Bad offsync beatmap (with notes), and not very good fingers position in some places. So i started rebuild.

I like this a song, for a few reason. It very fun to play, despite at a lot missed notes it sounds very good and crazy fun (i`m used my pedalboard for fun and very similar tone), Yes it very hard in same time, but it look like a song with high diff rate for intermediate class, when for they impossible pass in SA, but we early stayed a song for challenge. So second reason that my vote don't change a song it MC players too must be one some time to got rape ass :D Such way MC players will be more good understand feels participants of other class. I'm having trouble with the selections for my classes this week. For advanced bass, the genre just doesn't interest me and I really hate the floppy strings on low tunings. I've worked on Cradle of Filth for an hour or so and ran it through once to get a score on the board and do something else. 80% I much prefer the Muse selection. It's taken a lot more work in RR at a lot slower speeds too. So far, I'm at 88% accuracy, but the score is not valid because I got leveled down in one section. The ugly truth is that in all of the palm mutes, I'm playing single notes instead of doublets, and the system doesn't notice the MISS. I really prefer this song so I'm going to focus on this one this week. I'll slow it right down in RR until I'm satisfies with my performance and then up the speed a little at a time. Edit, On Muse, I'm playing lead, bot bass.

@@Van-Blurten I don't know what you mean about economy picking, I'm simply use alternate picking. I have bigger problem keeping it palm muted all the time. I felt that Muse bass is really easy. There is basically one jump by one fret and back (as I'm not using pinky in that song). I was a little dissapointed with that bass to tell the truth, hoped for something trickier.

Time for an "Oh bugger, I'm in over my head" question :D On the Muse song, lead path. Is it best to be using economy picking for the "D7 D7 G9 G9" bit? I think the answer is yes and I think I shall be having a pretty low score on my humble ascent into Int lead. ... frantically googles "Justin Guitar economy picking" :D

@@albatross213 sure am, and it's my first foray into tabbing, as well doing something interesting recording it. I'm making a cdlc with the notes and complete silence, then taking those audio tracks and syncing them up. The drums will be a midi and vocals should be there...but that's a beast within itself. but there should be no debates on the chart and the tone :P and if there is...well...you're not playing it right. I'm super excited about this week :) great songs for MC, as well as this project

While most of the song is pretty easy, I thought the fast parts of the verse riff are too tricky for it to be a beginner song. Alternatively, is it really that much easier than Enter Sandman? I guess your score says otherwise, but I'm a little bit surprised people are finding that part to be that easy. @@then3verend - So, that's how you're planning to unveil your original work? This is the last test i've done which is in sync and works prety well (the chart isn't 100% correct though but that's another issue) I'm the one doing those videos and i still need to do a "how to" video that will come one day "soon". @@ZordonFreeman : Yes it can work with any electric drum kit as long as you are able to have a midi signal which every single electric drum kit have i believe (i used the Rock band drum kit only because that's the only one i have on my hand). I don't think it will ever be possible to do that with any kind of acoustic drum kit for one simple reason is that Rocksmith looks for a clearly defined pitch that an acoustic drum kit can't create as far as i know. @@joe21121 : you don't need that much strings, having a string by element is the wrong way to go for multiple reason and mostly because you can't have more than 3 element to play at the same time (4 if you consider that you use 2 pedal). The way i do it i have the lowest strings as the kick, then 3 strings for the toms and 2 strings for the cymbals, with that combination unless you need 2 pedals at the same time you can chart anything since you have 24 fret to indicate which tome/cymbals/pedal you use at one given time. If you absolutely want to use 2 pedal at the same time you can always do 2/2/2 strings for pedal/tom/cymbal and you can chart anything with that.

I'm a big fan of Alabama and Alan Jackson. I'd love to play their music too, but unfortunately, like Attitude mentioned, there are hardly any Country GP tabs out there.

We've had this talk before. GP tabs are the issue. Tabbing from scratch is a PITA, and that's why you don't see much country. If you had an official tab book you can always make the GP tabs yourself,, but be warned,, it is time consuming. Then you put it in EoF and find out that you have too many or not enough repeats,, go edit the GP tab,, do it again,, and again, until you get it right. Of course,, if we could get some officials,, that would be cool.

As I said above, I'm definitely going to need to practice my tapping and hammer-on and pulloff technique (that section at the end). In addition, I'm probably going to need to go over some of the more complicated tapping sections so I actually have some semblance of an idea of where my hands should be, rather than just flailing at the fretboard and hoping. Edit: Just did a runthrough on RR to see how many notes there are in each section. The first tapping section had 72, the second and third each had about 100, and the outro had about 170. I think the total note count in the song ended up a little below 1300 (maybe 1286?). So those sections (which don't include all of the technical and hard parts) comprise over a third of the notes in the song. In other news, I'm helping out on making a bass version for Mastodon's song The Motherload. I've made the bass part in a Guitar Pro tab (the 19th measure should match the 27th, but I think otherwise this is the most recent version) mostly based on this live performance, especially from ~1:10 through 2:40. The studio version is here, in case anything's done differently between the two versions. If you could check it out and see whether it seems accurate, that would be a big help! I haven't done much of anything with the part during interlude and solo, and it would probably also be especially helpful to double-check what is a slide but shouldn't be (or isn't a slide but should be). Hi everyone. I've been using rocksmith CDLC from this site since last fall sometime on my mac. Everything has been lovely. I've only downloaded from this site and do most of the conversions myself with the toolkit (I was using one from jan/feb until downloading a new beta last night). I had around 200+ CDLC tracks and things were working fine. Occasionally I'd find a track that didn't work and I'd move it out of the folder to come back to later. Unfortunately, sometime in the last month everything sort of blew up. Some cover art was missing in the song list and no tracks would load past the speakers showing up (not just the occasional track). So I removed any new songs and it didn't work. Eventually I went through my entire library and got it to 153 tracks that load correctly and had already played in the past. So, things seem to be fine with that set. I keep trying to download new tracks and some work and a lot don't anymore. Specifically, but not limited to, Rush's "The Analog Kid". If I have only that CDLC in my library (and regular paid DLC) then the track loads fine. If I add it as track 154, everything breaks. Anyone know why that is or the best way to debug the situation? I saw earlier in this thread: "I'd also recommend adding songs in small batches instead of adding 800 all at once. Sometimes customs conflict with each other and cause problems. It's easier to find problem customs when you add them and verify them in smaller batches." from @@Wepeel. I've clearly been doing that debugging, but how do I figure out the conflict between this new track and all the previous 153? And once I've found it, how do I fix it? Thanks!
