Basses are easy. Not even Advanced one. Rhytms are fairly easy too, except Babymetal, which for me was really MC like. I had hard time with Megadeth rhythm - got 99% on 1st try. It's easy, but has a lot of fast picking, which I think is not beginner. Roses rhythm and BabyMetal lead is what I focus on this week. No E standard this week! D, Eb Drop Db, Eb, Eb (lead wise). 4, 4! 4, 4! 4, 4! 4, 4! :lol: That's just stupid ;)

Sick of this song. Got up to 99.5 and didn't screenshot because I planned to get higher but am sick of it and inconsistencies with one section in particular having sketchy readings made me frustrated for a song that I have all the parts down on. http://i.imgur.com/uVnpxl7.png

Something I liked about the previous CDLC search page was that it would highlight in bold all the new postings since I last visited the page. Now, that feature seems to be absent in ignition. This feature was especially nice for when I was gone for a few days and knew when to stop perusing the listings when the bold stopped. Now, I'll have to have some idea when I was last visiting the search page.

Yes. Custom tones will have to be created. Otherwise Default tone is used. Not anymore. I included automatic tone conversion in the new release and tones are fully editable.

I'll try tomorrow (today's morning :P ). For now Sinners are no more, Korn is the only beginner bass.

@@slooker you right it is terrible tuning, i use string on bass 55-110 and tried pass tuning 5 min. and in song half notes is miss. this a song not suitable for week challenge, and must be changed. Not once was said that low tuning for beginner not allowed there (especially tune in A ). @@Mortalo, please, change a song for beginner.

CDLC can be corrupt for any number of reasons. The toolkit loads the CDLC into memory and checks that all arrangements (bass, lead, rhythm, vocals) are valid. It checks the audio, art and other files that are in the CDLC and anything else that could cause hangs or crashes. You said that you played a CDLC that was tag as corrupt without any problems, basically you got lucky and have not played the corrupt part yet. Maybe you only play bass and never play lead or something else like that. The toolkit should not have crashed after finding corrupt CDLC. You do however have to resync after it finds corrupt CDLC. This is normal and even indicated by a popup message you should have seen. Did you have the game running, a folder open, or some other activity that may have prevented CGT from finishing the job (antivirus auto update or such)? Make sure everything is closed first and shut down and then rerun CGT and sync again. CGT will even tell you how much space it saves you when finished. And yes your game save will load faster. PM me if you are still having trouble. EDIT: FOR EVERYONE ... Most important. Always backup your game save first.

Great one !! Thanks mate It's hard to compare now. Both of the versions are very high quality and each have other parts that are better than the other. I can post things I noticed. -> I like the song without the intro, which is Kiscsaks version -> Kiscsak note recognition for bends in main riff is much more better (no idea why) -> BHMaths tone suits better for the part 'you fucking psycho' -> It's hard to say which disto is better. -> BHMaths arrangement for verse part (muted notes) is better for hand movement -> I like Kiscsak autotone, but i'm not sure if Phaser is the right option. (could be just me) -> BHMath's vocals are much better. I think that is all. Thanks both of you. Before I go all PC master race here, I just want to get this out there. I'm really happy how far we made it as a community, the contribution on this website is just phenomenal. And honestly if it wasn't for the community I would probably have about 10 hours in Rocksmith max. Ever since the "smithy's incident" I feel like Customs Forge has been progressing exponentially. But here's where it hasn't progressed at all, the actual game itself. I'm not talking about gameplay just navigation in general. Obviously this thread is more targeted towards PC players. I always expected that there would be someone out there that would want to improve the game itself. For the PC users out there, I hope you can relate to me when I say that the navigation is clunky. It feels like this game is just a port from the console version and they gave us no choice for controls. Honestly I have almost 200 hours in this game already and I still mess up with the whole "9,O,0,P" thing, something that could've been easily highlighted with your mouse. Volume knobs feel so glitchy/buggy, like I drag it to 90% for example that move my mouse to go back a screen then it suddenly moves to like 30% or whichever direction I moved my mouse. To prevent this I have to click about 2 or 3 times to make sure the knob doesn't move after I let go. Search feature, if you're like me and have tons of CDLC's and DLC's it takes a while to get to the one you want. I'm pretty sure I have quite a few songs that I didn't play/test out because I forgot about them. I add batches of CDLC's and play them one by one, it would go so much faster if you could just search them by song,artist album or last added instead of just being able to rearrange their order. The whole game in general feels like it can be optimized so much on the PC but the Dev's are pretty focussed on producing new content, and I don't blame them they put out good stuff and it actually generates more revenue to keep them going. Some other mods I expected to see would've been using your guitar to move around I.E : making a slide from fret 3 to 9 would scroll or depending how fast or the distance of the slider. a Power chord to click ( Enter ) to go on to the next screen. And an Octave to go back? Stuff like that

Bucketfel's Tab has a slide G11/13, and that sounds better, I prefer a bend on fret 12 I would have preferred N Y C named Hold me forever 1.N, Hold me forever 2.Y, Hold me forever 3.C they should be displayed together in RS in that order, because Y is in the continuity of N, while C is the final peek.

I remember the day - i was 13 - a schoolmate borrowed me his original copy audio tape Iron Maiden - No Prayers for the Dying - put it in, never heard anything as beatiful till then, and that was it for me, fell in love with (mainly melodic) heavy metal, later added hardrock, a little death, ... Since my youth Maiden, ´tallica, Acdc, Helloween, Amorphis, Slayer, Sepultura later also Deep Purple, Billy Talent, System of a Down, Unearth, Volbeat. However, always hooked to the guitar lines, always wanted to be able to play that stuff... When i started studying i finally bought a ibanez gio hanging at a pawn shop, tried to learn my favorite songs from tabs, had no chance because they were all much much above any beginner level, though i would have had the time then just played sporadically cause NO progress, bought my gisbon sg spec as a huge Angus fan (o.c. i thought a bad guitar is the reason for being lame ;) ), didnt change anything, bought my B.C. Rich - Warlock from a friend cause he didnt want it no more, but overall couldnt play any song then, stopped and didnt play for 15 years.... Meanwhile wonderful gf, 2 kids and a very demanding job. Bought RS (PS3) was thrilled by the surprisingly good recognition, but the song selection kept it from being the real deal to mke my schedule... June 2014, age 36, somehow i stumbled upon the CS google docs file (yeah - before knowing about cdlc and cf) and 2 mins later i had decided that i was at home :) - instantly got RS14, registered, didnt miss a week since then, always thinking about how to push the competition and keep the players playing, was invited to join the organizers, and am more than happy about the progress - playing about 7-10 hours a week, 270 overall. Very happy Motive practically forced me to buy a bass, and bought my wonderful ESP JK-1, and lately a Fender Squier strat mini since i restarted... Today i dared tryin a few of my purchased dlcs, and achieved 90+ maiden 1st tries rhy - still shocked, no way this would have been possible without the CS!

@@Geist If you would live outside of America you would knew about Japanese Wizards. Guitars created in Japan were widely considered beasts. My Jackson was made in 1996 in Japan (when Jackson was still making them in Japan). It does it's job the best way possible :D In some cases you can say that "imports" done in Japan are superior to "originals" created in US. But this knowledge is forbidden to unworthy :)

I'm pretty sure it is ordered as class based on lead, so some on beginner for lead might have a tougher part for rhythm or bass.

Also make sure you're using the latest hotfix. I improved the logic it uses to determine if the project folder is present isnce RC10.
