realy nice beginner song - you nail that one - you are ready for int...

int and adv get surprisingly calm songs given the bands performing

mc is a funny song on the easier mc diff scale end.

 

3 nice rhy lines

 

basses diffs beg-int-adv are quite close - i hope the way i put it fits you well.

Nice selections this week. Damn no rain no rainbow is advanced only?? i find it to be at least mc but i dont know maybe others find it easy but i think you should reconsider!

@ I've found that fixed bridge guitars detects notes better whilst my guitars with floating trems have difficulty getting detected on bends (both Ibanez's Edge Zero and Floyd Rose 1000 seem to suffer from this so I assume it's all floating bridges) compared to fixed bridge one's.

thanks dude ! but that means I can't compete on weeks without MC rhythm ? and I'm not sure I can't handle hard MC songs on guitar ! but hey I can get better

dude I have a floating bridge and my B & G strings keys are almost broken :p my guitar is absolute bullshit but screw it I'm a bass player. Anyway I guess yours is better than mine, you might not have that problem but some notes get out of tunes just because I press too hard, so I detune the strings a little bit (and try to press softer of course but the detuning thing may be a good advice (maybe) )

You can play whatever songs you want, but yes, you won't be able to win when there is no MC rhythm.

Rather I wanted to jump in again as freebird, but actually those great songs in MC and all those new tough guys in there it's a real challenge, so I'm back to MC :D

and of course if you have a doublestop with bending only one string the other goes out of tune. So fixed bridges are the best for tuning stability.

I haven't taunted the FreeBird police in several weeks, and the beginner selection on bass gives me the perfect chance.  Whoever tabbed out the bass track needed a low D so they chose Drop D tuning.  Unfortunately that forces them up the neck to higher frets on the low D string.  When tabbed in D standard tuning, the bass line can be played with more use of open strings and never higher that the 5th fret.  There is, however,more string skipping to get to higher notes.

 

So this week, I will start with the Arctic Monkeys on bass in D standard tuning, transposing on the fly.  So far, I'm only at 99.7%

getting notes right on drop d tuning for me is very difficult, D standard easy with my DigiTech Drop http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/pedals_s_detail.asp?stock=150810288591002 funny enough   :D

This track feels like I'm going to a bad place when I play this.

I think the winner for rhythm is still wrong someone posted a 98.82% just before the end, maybe I'm wrong I should check before I type!!

But I spent ages trying to beat it, and on that note I believe that intermediate rhythm is mostly too hard for me just now.

 

 

 

see, I am wrong the person in question just got a higher score than was shown on the leaderboard.

This has been a struggle so far. Adv. Lead 80%

Some note recognition issues on the low notes, but mostly just slow and clumsy fingers! :)

 

Also, I love the Arctic Monkeys.
