One last go for the bois then, no warmup either. Lots of shifting up and down on this, feel like it could be transposed to be a bit easier maybe? The irony in the fact they state the existence of their tools for blocking artists you don't want to see/play at the bottom of their update is hilarious. The existence of these tools should remove the need for this kind of mass deletion in the first place. They could easily tag these artists and hide them by default using this system instead of removing them altogether and create a global blacklist of TOS songs for streamers to ignore. They have backups of the database and could restore all these songs at any time they wish (like the time they banned a user and accidentally removed all 1000~ songs they had in his collection). Sorry this ain't it chief, see ya.

I´ll investigate a bit. Didn´t know that songs were deleted. Fear in no way - whatever it takes - the championship is gonna continue.... and i really would hope its on CF.

Now my class in Rhythm. I selected the Metallica song as one of the highlights for this week because well, is a Metallica song and from 2023! I respect a lot artists that keep producing music for a very long time in their carriers. But being honest I wasn't a big fan in Metallica back in the day and this song has an excess of "open E string machine gun" that I always have critisized. I actually do like the riffs, but it seems that the band just stop by recording a demo and didn't developed the song... (if you are a big fan of Metallica, don't get mad at me! )

I have not been very active on this site and don't know any the history/extent of censorship here. With that said, I didn't know what it was until today, but am personally happy with the decision whereby it is not being promoted on this site.

LAST CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT! YEAH!!! ---- My class in Lead... From a layman point of view I can play this song decently enough, so this score feels frustrating and humiliating Can't be bother practicing the song many more times just to find the correct way to overcome the lack of recognition...

Hi @ coldrampage ! Thanks for writing to us and I missed you! When I started the week and added a Japanese song from 2023 I though "this would be something coldrampage may like... I wonder how he is doing". It's sad and a tragedy that someone like you that has contributed tons feels the way you do. Today they changed the Guidelines and claim that they are going to "implement a transparent prohibited list of artists, accessible to all users, detailing which artists are prohibited and the reasons for their exclusion". I sincerely hope this helps and is in line with what you expected... Besides that, I would beg you to keep coming to the Championship, because we are a separate group not related to the censorship you are denouncing! Really hope you consider to keep joining us, since you were one of the hosts that motivated me to help hosting weeks here...

Hey everyone, Happy New Year! A little late to the party, but it's been a busy week. And then yesterday my internet went out as I was trying to link my scores lol Here are my MC Lead and Rhythm 2nd attempt at this one, those are some fun chords!

CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT!!!! YEEAHH!!! I'm glad everyone is enjoying the songs. I sincerely whish you a great year in 2024!!! --- ...OMG! It's the week I am hosting and I lost two days trying to fix my bass! I opened my bass for the fist time and succeeded in getting rid of the noise in the pots... but still after playing it for a while it started to make strange noises... After two days of research and trying many things including the settings in Rocksmith, long story short, I have an active bass and havent changed the battery since 2018 or so!!! (It's remarkable that the battery still plays OK for half an hour before getting crazy) I love my Ibanez SR, and it sems we still have a long journey ahead! --- ...Anyway, after the bass is back, I did tons of RR for bass Masterclass. My daugther loves this song (Kura Kura), so I am really motivated to play it, but it is beyond my level!! Not really happy with my score so far... I should add that I like very much this trend in Japan that they ask actual bands to make soundtracks for animes, because children are growing up listening music played by good musicians. You may like the song or not, but as you see the music is really crafted and actually difficult to play and sing. OK, so here is my progress... After two hours of RR, I suddenly lost concentration (I don't think is because of the beers ), so not so happy wit the final score... I dont understand I only achieved 82% and sill I ahd a streak of 254... It didnt feel like that.

Well, sorry for another da capo week, I didn't have it in me to do a proper selection. On the other hand we get to play Vektor again, which is always fun. For what it's worth, I've got games that have been delisted from steam for 10 years that I can redownload still here in 2024. It's so unlikely to happen to have the actual game files removed from distribution through steam that I'm calling it impossible unless steam itself dies.

Ya make me wanna slap my own forehead. Sorry. Anyhoo. Yep, CD/DVD pretty much worthless. No worries though, here is why. Once you make your Steam account, link the CD/DVD key to that Steam account, it is yours fo evea. Or until Ubi pulls it from Steam. This means you can re-download it, AND install it on any pc YOU own. That means, your pc dies, your laptop dies, it doesn't work on this laptop and you buy another bigger better laptop, you can install it on there as well. If it eases your mind at all, I currently have the same Rocksmith installation on 2 different towers, and a laptop. Right now. You do not need the DVD to do that. You download it directly from Steam. Also, that is the point of the Steam/Rocksmith cloud. This means you play on one tower, but tomorrow you travel somewhere, log into Rocksmith, the cloud will sync to the cloud so all your progress matches on the machines, as long as you don't do something silly to mess up the cloud or progress. Now for how long Ubi keeps it in Steam is anyone's guess, and I can not alleviate that concern. It should be for a long time to come. Someone else asked the same thing as you in another thread "what if my machine/laptop dies, what if something happens...". What this means, what I am trying to say, at some point in the far distant future, Windows 11 will get replaced. As will Windows 12. And Windows 13. Will Rocksmith still work with that future Operating System? Not likely. Will Ubi make updates so that it will? That is anyones guess. I do not have answers for that other than, you will need to make plans if you want to keep playing this version of Rocksmith 20 years from now. Will the Earth still be inhabitable in 20 years? Will there be a colony on Mars in 20 years? Will anyone have figured out how many angels fit on a pin? Anyone's guess.

Rhythm time I like this song, I also like the tones used in this CDLC even if they are a bit harsher than heard in the original. Even funny I liked QotSA older albums more, but that could be it. Similarly in Metallica, nothing from the new album captivates me, I would say that overall it is ok. The chart is a bit crazy as it often happens in Japanese songs, some of the chords I didn't know and couldn't play.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!!! hope you all had a nice celebration and hope we continue to get better at guitar/bass bassline for this song reminds me of a 2000s song that was popular and always on the radio but i couldnt find it tricky song but fun good to see eddie van halens sons band here very interesting to see metal + electronic reimerge again. it used to be what i grew up listening to..used to be called post hardcore. but its good brings memories didnt know they still made music pretty neat by far my favorite song of this week even if its not usualy what id listen to. really fun to play and not too fast so its doable with practice imoglad to see metallica in lower difficulties. also always interesting to see what notes the bass player mimics the guitar player and which ones he doesnt

Good to know you're okay! As a somewhat involved user of this website, I had no idea about the things you were writing about, it doesn't sound good. It's very bad that our CDLC can be removed without giving a reason and we don't even know about it unless we check it ourselves...

Obivously the choice is C. If Ubisoft chooses to not make the product available you aren't even hurting the company as they choose not to receive your money.

There was, If i recall it was hosted on Smithy's Anvil. It was shut down a long time ago, and as Rocksmith 2014 was already out by then, there was not much interest in reviving for the original Rocksmith. Again, I might be remembering incorrectly.
