  1. Did you try the game before installing the .dll? (I know it is the long way of doing it, but it is always better to get the game running before adding mods so you know where to start looking for the problem.) Is this the windbg dump that you have posted, or is this the MDMP crash file from the Rocksmith folder? Access violation - code c0000005 is a read write exe memory error. The data it is looking for did not get written to memory, got written to the wrong location, or it is unable to retrieve that data after writing it. In gaming a bad .dll is the first culprit usually. @ Phantatsy is a wizard at reading the MDMP files. If this is the windbg file, compare the two to see if there is anything different. If there is; post the MDMP file for him to read.
  2. Well, that is indeed something that warranted being brought to attention and fixed. (and as stated was repaired).
  3. Removing a chart based on it not being in E standard is just ludicrous, absurd, nonsensical, ridiculous and absolutely foolish removal reason. There are many, many songs and charts that are not in E standard, it does not take that long to retune a guitar. It is either laziness or fear to not retune.
  4. Said much better than what I was attempting to say
  5. If it is that CDLC, which you said as much in the post, The quickest and easiest way is you can go to Tone Designer in game, either use another preset Authentic tone or make your own custom tone and assign it to 2,3, or 4 on your keyboard to switch to. There are other options like using DLC builder to deconstruct the chart and stripping the tone the creator made, and substituting it with your own. I have read that using CF Song Manager you can edit tones in that as well. I have not used CF Song Manager to confirm this. (Right click on it and select Edit Song Information. Find the tab labeled Tones and click that. Here you will find the tones for the song. You can also edit the tone loudness by double-clicking on volume, but it's a trial and error to find the correct number. More negative = louder.) If it is every song, go to gain over ride (Tools->options->audio settings->input db gain override) and turn it down some.
  6. I get that, I got that, my meaning was it still is an emulator on a Mac. I believe that is the newest non beta of the Remastered version. If I linked to the correct .dll. It is an assumption, I have no reason to doubt Phantatsy or his competence, so something else is amiss. The build for the Beta is 165. 369567 I believe the build for Learn and Play is 165. 396721, At least it was. I am not 100% sure at the moment.
  7. In ichocobo's other thread I linked to Phantatsy's .dll post, ichocobo said that the .dll did not work for them and that the game wouldn't launch. I do not know if it is a game version / dll version mismatch or a Mac issue.
  8. Usually when that happens, it is because it is the wrong version of the .dll with the wrong version of the game. I don't know if this is the situation or if it is because it is on a Mac.
  9. What version of the game are you using
  10. Try dropping the ----> .dll <----provided by Phantatsy from the How to Use cdlc thread into the directory (where the Rocksmith2014.exe is located) ; https://customsforge.com/index.php?/topic/901-how-to-use-custom-dlcs-in-rs2014-remastered-updated-for-2023/page/56/#findComment-403178
  11. Use DLC Builder instead. RS Toolkit is no longer supported. https://github.com/iminashi/Rocksmith2014.NET/releases
  12. Absolutely nothing wrong with experimenting, especially with a Printer. This is severely understating it, and I truly can't speak as I don't / haven't 3d printed, but basically (minus the hours print time and filament cost) if you mess up, or it doesn't work, just squirt another improvement whereas getting another $100+ chunk of wood and hours physical labor making a new wood body .... I am really curious to see how it does hold up. Seriously, I am impressed and slightly jealous of both you and Lurker, good job. I am sure you will make improvements and more designs. A great advantage and opportunity with learning the CAD. I am so sure it will help you drastically. He really is, on both accounts. I know from my own failures, making a neck is absolutely no easy task and so easy to mess up.
  13. I saw Diceslinger's post last night, (@ diceslinger that looks really cool!) and tried very much so not to interject myself in again as I don't participate in the championships. I "have to" throw my 2 cents in, that to me is amazing people are able to get a 3d printer to squirt out such cool artistic designs and make them function. 2 years ago, another forum member IamLurker posted his 3d project, and I am totally blown away with how his also turned out, very 80's design. Check it out:
  14. Since you did not describe everything about your previous PC and game, this really can not be answered shortly, yet it can. If everything about the game is the same, your .dll is not corrupted, there should be no reason that you shouldn't be able to copy over the .dll that you are already using. Internet speed, internet availability, etc., there should be no reason that you can not download the enabler and run it either. Within the English language we have an idiom that goes, "It is a horse a piece". SOOOO if copying over the .dll does not work, download the enabler and do that. (Which I am sure you already figured out on your own 16 hours later.)
  15. As Blues said, that second no is a hard No, as he showed you. However, I am confused, as there could be a few assumptions made. You have been a member of the forum since 2021, and are on a Mac, so there could be an assumption that you have been using Rocksmith 2014 Remastered for 3 years. Aerosmith Walk This Way is a base song in that version. If you have switched from console recently and are using Learn and Play; then the only way to obtain that chart is to purchase a 2014 remastered key for an outrageous price or to chart it yourself for yourself.
