  1. Sniper Reload3d's post in Rocksmith CDLC not working, not showing up in game and no other solution worked. was marked as the answer
You need the d3dx9.dll in order for cdlc to work. You do not need a original dlc for cdlc to work if you are using the current d3dx9.dll.
Go to the first page, first post of the "use cdlc" thread, link top of the page. Download the cdlc enabler. There is nothing wrong with the download. You may have to give permissions or temporarily disable / turn off antivirus.
You may have to move the enabler to the Rocksmith folder before running it.
Cdlc should be and go in the dlc folder. You do not have to make a seperate folder within the dlc folder, but it will help keep it organized.
If you still can not get the enabler to download, go to page 41 of the "use cdlc" thread, and use that link. If you do use that link, send a thank you to Nick Beat for providing it.
make sure the d3dx9.dll goes in the Rocksmith 2014 folder, with the rocksmith2014.exe, the second image you have posted in this thread.
  2. Sniper Reload3d's post in "JustInCaseWeNeedIt" or Latest Rocksmith version? was marked as the answer
    Personal choice.
The new cDLC enabler / .dll leaves "no reason" to use the previous build. The current .dll does not require a oDLC, works with large thread count intel cpus.
Only reason you would be using the previous build is for some reason your particular pc does not like the current build.
For what it is worth, I am using the current build on my laptop with the newest .dll, however on a machine I have set aside "for the apocalypse shtf yada yada" I am using the justincaseweneedit build with an old .dll just because, and I can't stand the news section.
  3. Sniper Reload3d's post in Songs not available as DLC listed as available was marked as the answer
You have the ability to hide the creator Ubisoft when you do searches. Doing so though will hide songs that have not yet delisted. Having the songs in the database is also for reference. I am not sure I know anyone that can remember all 1500+ songs that were offered as DLC from memory. Allowing them to be searched is easier than reading through a list.
  4. Sniper Reload3d's post in Rocksmith® 2014 - The Smashing Pumpkins - “Cherub Rock” is no longer available on the Steam store. was marked as the answer
    See your other post.

  5. Sniper Reload3d's post in New to Customsforge! Rocksmith 2014 no longer available on steam. Would Hard Copy for PC solve my dilemma of being able to play DLC was marked as the answer
You should be still able to redeem the key from the physical hard copy and install it that has not already been redeemed. I believe it was only the digital keys that they said would no longer work after the 23rd of October. I do not know for how long they will still allow the hard copy keys to work.

(Before you ask, No, any previously de-listed songs will not be made available here currently.)
    EDIT:
the .dll/enabler as of Nov 23rd no longer requires a purchased DLC in order to use cDLC, so text removed.
  6. Sniper Reload3d's post in create CDLC if DLC was removed??? Iron maiden - Fear of the dark was marked as the answer
    First, sending you the file, asking for the file is piracy and is strictly against site rules. Second, please read in its entirety;

  7. Sniper Reload3d's post in with rocksmith 2014 being removed from the steam store in October, how will this effect CDLC? was marked as the answer
  8. Sniper Reload3d's post in Rocksmith discontinued :( was marked as the answer
You are not going to anytime in the immediate or near future. This has been asked repeatedly.
ALL of the dlc has not been taken out of the store. It will ALL eventually be removed as the licenses expire.
You have a couple choices. One is to use youtube and use the video as a non-feedback play along. Another is to chart the song yourself for yourself. Distributing will get you banned from this site. Discussing how to do so will get you banned from this site. Please read the Site rules, and this:

again, this has been asked and answered repeatedly in several different threads.
  9. Sniper Reload3d's post in Rocksmith 2014 remastered stopped working was marked as the answer
If you have not played since Sept 10th, 2022, then there was an update to Rocksmith about the time Rocksmith - was released. The old D3Dx9_42.dll will not work with the new update.
You will need to download the new .dll, remove or rename the old .dll. You can not have both at the same time, they interfere with one another. It is recommended that you use the new update, but there is a beta version to rollback to where you can use the old .dll.
to keep things simple, I would just use the new version and new .dll. Again, you can not have both at the same time.

    The .dll is here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1ZKYtpB0vu2U3RLa1ZvdmxJczg/view?resourcekey=0-fbWMN9R83EFvASSbAIgNbA
or use the enabler found here: https://ignition4.customsforge.com/tools/cdlcenabler
  10. Sniper Reload3d's post in With "Cherub Rock" off steam, How am I supposed to download CDLC? was marked as the answer
    Yes.
Any official DLC from the store will work. You will take the song ID from that official DLC that you downloaded and use that ID on the Custom CDLC from this site. You will have to change the Song ID, or APPID of the customs to the Official DLC that you downloaded. Any Official DLC from Steam will work.
It was just easier in the past to use Cherub Rock. Some people received it for free was one of the reasons it was used.
  11. Sniper Reload3d's post in Rocksmith 2014 being delisted from Steam. was marked as the answer
I have no interest in Rocksmith -. I will continue to use 2014 until either it no longer works, I learn every song I can with it completely, or I die.
As you said in your post, the article states all content will be delisted as well.
I find this difficult to swallow as when original Rocksmith, or Rocksmith1 or Rocksmith 2011, whatever you want to call it delisted, the DLC remained in the store until the licenses expire.
I think we need clarification / an official statement. I was unable to find anything of the such. As Rocksmith 2014 licenses from the base game expire on the 23rd as well as:
Mind Eraser, No Chaser Them Crooked Vultures 2013-10-22   Cherub Rock The Smashing Pumpkins 2013-10-22   Ho Hey The Lumineers 2013-10-22   Hate to Say I Told You So The Hives 2013-10-22   Elephant Tame Impala 2013-10-22   My God is the Sun Queens of the Stone Age 2013-10-22   25 or 6 to 4 Chicago 2013-10-22   The Sky is Crying Albert King 2013-10-22       I am not an insider, I do not know anyone at Ubi. I assume that they will follow the same course as the delisting of the original Rocksmith. I find it difficult to believe that they would pay for 10 years licensing on songs, such as Opeth for them to delist them 2 years later. But hey, what do I know. Smarter people in smaller companies have made dumber decisions.
                  EDIT:
    https://www.trueachievements.com/n55089/rocksmith-2014-delisting
"As for Rocksmith 2014 Edition DLC, the publisher notes that DLC packs and singles for the game will be delisted "over time as well." Of course, if you've already purchased Rocksmith 2014 Edition or any of its DLC packs, you will still be able to download and play them once they're delisted. "
          https://www.ubisoft.com/en-au/game/rocksmith/plus/news-updates/2aWHQHdEaMlORjQqmJwzmg/rocksmith-2014-leaving-stores
Now as we approach that decade mark, we must remove Rocksmith 2014 for purchase from all digital storefronts as of October 23, 2023. DLC packs and Singles for Rocksmith 2014 will be removed from those storefronts over time as well.

  12. Sniper Reload3d's post in Ubisoft DLC Content that is no longer available for purchase was marked as the answer
Again for the third time in this thread, it is not about the songs gone, it is about the songs that remain that they will claim copyright infringement, piracy, and lost revenue, because people will just wait for the songs and licenses to expire and de-list.

You had 10 years to purchase songs you claim you want charted. 10 years, whether you were playing the game or not, whether you purchased songs in the past or not.

You don't think that someone already thought that?

I answered in a perfectly respectful way, you did not get the answer you wanted, so you are slinging insults like a child.

Obviously a lot farther ahead then you are capable of. You are still lacking and not grasping that currently de-listed songs are not going to be made available for cDLC because of consequences against the site. IF you were, you would have merely said to Firekorn, "I see, thank you for your response." instead of venting your irrational frustrations on me.

  13. Sniper Reload3d's post in This song is NOT on Steam and should now be fair for Forge, right? was marked as the answer
It is not fair to UBI who will have droves of people just waiting for songs to expire, nor fair to the creators of this site who will get sued into oblivion, or fair to the chart creator or the requestor who will be banned for attempting to pirate.
Those songs were available for 10 years before they delisted.
This has been asked and answered a plethora times and songs already.
    Please read in its entirety:

  14. Sniper Reload3d's post in Is this page safe? was marked as the answer
you are asking a very existential question. Is Microsoft safe? Depends on your view.
Jokes aside, there should be no reason to fear as it is Microsoft. It is indeed legit.
  15. Sniper Reload3d's post in De-listed Rocksmith 2014 songs was marked as the answer
    No.
Has been Admin's stance for a while. I would read the entire post.
