ah ok , so that rules out trying to add something blocked . we did update a lot of back end and might have broken something temporarily but I see other people adding songs with no issue. can you try a hard refresh by pressing Ctrl+f5 on the submission page, or log out and log in again, and try to adding a song to the wishlist and lemme know what happens.

what songs were you attempting to add to the wishlist?

Just for reference, people can legally obtain it for steam still. If you buy a sealed inbox copy of the PC version of rocksmith 2014/remastered it will contain a steam code. those steam codes still work for redemption through steam. Those codes will eventually dry up though.

Since it looks like the issue you're having is the game crashing on startup. Do you have any bluetooth speakers set up, or a bluetooth headset, or an oculus or any other peripherals attached that don't need to be attached that you can unplug and try opening the game again. There was an issue with multithreaded cpu's causing a crash on startup, but that is fixed through the new dll from the cdlcunlocker app.

So the cdlc unlocker = the dx.dll so you only need the unlocker. Depending on where you're getting the dx.dll you might be getting an older version of it or a different compatability version. you just need the unlocker and it upon running it successfully without antivirus quarantining it or stopping it, will put the dx.dll in your rocksmith base game folder.
