I'm Jasper from The Netherlands.I started playing guitar around December last year. Started making customs in the last couple of weeks of SA.When all the stuff started I emailed mark about where his successor would be. I was the second person the register on the forum ^^.Then I started helping, answering the 500 questions people asked the first couple of weeks in chat.For that reason they decided that i should join the moderator team and after a month of moderating I was promoted to admin so I could be of more help to them :). Should be fixed now. I had switched on the stop shouting in topic titles option. Was not aware that it auto capitalized stuff aswell.My bad ^^

In Rocksmith go to the options. Then enter the Mixer. Just lower the music value. And tada. you have tabs without music.

You can also just turn of the song volume in rocksmith i think...

We allow multiple versions of the same song. Nowhere in the rules is it stated that you can't release a second version of a song allready in the database.On the subject of a rating/approved system. A rating system is out of the question since people will rate based on the artist or the song. This is what happened when SA introduced their 5 star rating system. Trolls came along and ruined it.We have some ideas about an approved system. This is still in internal discussion though. Searching on Genre is a difficult thing to do with the amount of sub genre's out there.Even if we would bring the number of genre's down to a certain amount via a dropdown field. Some people will see a band as rock, while some one else thinks it's metal. ect ect.Like Firekorn said, Difficulty is all relative. What I find easy, you find hard. An Award system is in the works.There is some talk about a DLC Manager, I would love it. If someone with programming experience wants to work on this. Sent me a PM.The new search engine will have some extra sorting options for favorites. No ETA on that yet.

Thank you for all the feedback. It seems that 1/3 of the users here, are experiencing some issue while downloading from Mediafire. Mediafire will still be allowed for usage. It's up to the Charters to choose whether or not to change to a different host. Thanks again!

Not allowed. An acoustic version is just a cover of an existing song. Even if it is by the same band.

I doubt it. Original rocksmith came in 2011. (consoles that is) Rocksmith 2014 came in 2013. So don't expect anything this year.

Launch day's are almost similar to DDoS attacks.So many people try to login at the same time. Server can't handle it. People keep trying. Server says "Well fuck you too" and goes to take a nap.
