Lead I'm Picky - 96% Rhythm I'm Picky - 93.66% Ride to Live, Live to Ride - 95.09% 98.59% Der dicke Darm - 95.63%

Well it seems that the ladies are either 'slapping' or 'fingering', this week so I thought I'd give it a go........ In conclusion I cant do either so I'm sticking with the pick and sticking to beginner and Intermediate. :P My slapping sounds like shit and fingering makes me ache too much (couldn't even finish a song)

And @@Rodman, have you completely changed the bass on Ham Kummst? It surely never used to be a slap bass fest? I prefer the old version. :(

Right, I don't slap well AT all (I am a below the beginner ability with the technique), but, I am making progress with this particular ADV bass track. I started out at 47% and DD was alllll orange. I NEVER use DD but I thought for this particular track, since I don't really know this band, I don't mind if I don't do it justice so I'll use DD to just help me with the slap technique in general. Slowing it down and reducing the notes definitely helped at the start and eventually I started to get the rhythm down and even 100%'d a few of the sections. so here's my "non" score which I'm hoping to improve to an SA entry later in the week. The issue was that the file uses UTF-8 encoding with BOM, and EOF's handling of that "Byte Order Mark" character was broken. If you resave this lyric file as ANSI format or as UTF-8 without BOM EOF should be able to import it.

Rocksmith doesn't do a good job at rating your performance on this one. :lol: Played Sorairo Days a few more times, but only went up a little over a percent over it, so I didn't hit PrtScr yet. Since the remastered release there was the 100% bug fix, I remember using it at one time, however I haven't downloaded any old (pre remastered) songs in a while, but now that I have I cannot remember how or find it using the forum search for the particular fix.. Also I noticed there is no fast easy to find links to this fix or the initial CLDC broken from remastered fix anymore. There used to be one on the banner however it seems impossible to find anymore, any help would be appreciated, thanks. Also maybe consider putting it on the front home page somewhere so idiots like me can't miss it :P

Ummmmmm.... o didn't change a single note in ham kummst ... not in the bass, nor elsewhere.... Just fixed 100%bug and added DD Checking on that this evening... whatever might have happened... Thx for the hint! sent from mobile

You're welcome :) It's very possible to just keep all the notes rolling and just slow it down but in this instance of me being very new to slapping I needed to dumb it down and worked my way up to get the technique down. I can do the basic sections, slapped open E and the popped C, it's when the slaps change to the A string that I start fluffing up, my thumb just doesn't want to shift down and hit 1 string, I just end up thumping all four and making brow noise. :huh: Yep, me too. I think it's 'cos I sit with my bass on on left thigh. My right hand just doesn't seem to be in the right position to slap anything other than the E string. I'm down with the pops, mostly. :lol:

@@Bass - that are 2 hard songs which is very cool. Rechecked and the order is right. My diff ratings was 7.5 on Krakatit and 8 on Sor Days. 9 it is not. Memo to myself: always trust your own feeling and get smashed when you are awfully wrong afterwards ;)

Ok, I've been and tried them (adv & mc), not uploaded screens yet as I'm still playing - just wanted to quickly get my first impressions down..... Krakatit is waaayyyy harder than last week's MC. Compared to last week's Supergroove it's more like a MC track, it's making me think Supergroove was really a 6....because once you got the patterns down it repeated throughout; there's more variation with Krakatit. I scored higher with my first play of Sorairo Days too. I don't know though, I think Krakatit might be more masterable (is that a word? :P ) with lots of plays - I'll probably live to regret saying that! :lol: Sorairo I feel is more about having the speed, which isn't necessarily something you can improve a lot on over the course of one week. If you've already got it it's going to be easy to do well. I don't know, I'd be happy to attempt either, it's nice to get some challenging songs. We tend to get a lot of songs rated below our class in bass so it's nice to feel pushed to improve. :) Of course, if you do end up with Krakatit in MC @@missis sumner, you'll have to switch to emulated - that's the way winners do it ;) :P :ph34r:

As usual, I started on the beginner tracks and worked up in difficulty. Live to Ride, Ride to Live on bass = 100% I'm Picky on bass tuned Drop D = 97.8% I tried I'm Picky again on a bass tuned to BEAD and had a lot of note recognition issues. Even notes on open strings that are in tune often show as misses. Is anyone else having problems with the note recognition on the bonus track?

As of today the record on Ignition works as intended. To those having the same problem I suggest you just wait some time, it seems to be the only reasonable thing to do.

I will definitely go by albums :) When ...Like Clockwork is 100% done I will start making Era Vulgaris.

:) you should see my house, you wouldn't expect any hint of organized process on my end :) I will just try to favor QOTSA over other projects, and go along depending on the quality of the tabs I find and or their easyness to be improved
