I switched back to normal bass 34" scale length and have No Particular Place To Go up to 97%. Just to do one track this is actually on this week's selection - JBG on bass 100%.

here's my first scores of the week, unfortunately Johnny Halliday won't work due to a lot of random numbers and errors but everything else worked so ...... So yesterday I posted this song and I noticed that whenever I clicked on the record shown on Igniton nothing would show up. At first I thought the problem was related to my account, but now I have asked a friend of mine to try getting to the song page through Ignition and he had the same problem.

Import each of the Guitar Pro tracks into different tracks in EOF. Then you can copy and paste notes from one track to the other, just make sure to use appropriate seek controls (ie. the Pg Up/Dn related ones, all of which are listed in Song>Seek) so that the seek position is where you want the pasted notes to go before you paste them. You can copy and paste between different instances of EOF, but copy/pasting within the same instance of EOF is better because it will also copy certain types of techniques that may have imported from the Guitar Pro file. Tech notes that were imported would have to be copy/pasted separately from the regular notes. You can check to see if there are any by pressing F4 to toggle "tech view" on or off. Pasting tech notes is a little more complicated in that you would need to move the seek position to the correct note where you want the paste to begin. Depending on the notes being copied, the first normal note wasn't necessarily the first of them that had tech notes, so you may paste the normal notes at one beat, and then paste the normal notes farther ahead in the chart.

Yeah, your scores are valid for your classes and classes above. If you win a class higher than yours you only get the award if you level up (which you can anytime, or happens automatically if you hit 99%+ guitarwise or 99.5%+ basswise on a 3/5/7 diff rated song according to the corresponding class), but in any case scores of your class and above are valid for the 10-weeks leaderboard. Enter up to 4 songs of your choice into song selection list, rate it for lead/rhy/bass difficulty 1-10 and (esp. if you are an active player and because SSL is rather dry!!!) you will have your song up and playing in the coming weeks! BTW: PLEASE ALL OF US: Fill up Song selection list!!!!

Song suggestions are entered in a google spreadsheet and you're not limited to one class for suggestions. (I don't have the link at hand - it's in one of the signatures) Your score counts in the class you're playing => where your name is in in black letters. If you post a score for the other class(es) it's entered in grey. You can't win this class - I guess it's to make things not too complicated, but if you post a score in a higher class and it's the highest score you should win :D And for lower classes it's obvious to give the others a chance to win "their" class. This is how I understand it but feel free to correct me.

I gave up on my two week experiment of changing the display setting to invert the strings. My brain just couldn't make my fingers find the correct strings. My string skipping on No Particular Place to Go (on bass, of course) immediately improved, but I still don't get the bass pattern during the guitar solos. However, I definitely suck less with the normal setting restored. No Particular Place to Go on bass 91%, but recovering nicely.
