  1. Here's an updated rhythm score for Highly Strung: http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag342/Yeezy_Chryst/20160828153528_1_zpsxszo8dap.jpg Looks like the mastery is more accurate in this chart so I guess Iminashi is right about the lead chart having notes counting as being ignored.

Somehow I managed to hit all the open D note despite the guitar being in E standard but I'm not complaining. http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag342/Yeezy_Chryst/20160828145405_1_zpsnh2g532s.jpg @ Looks like you have to up your score

Bass solo, take one. http://i67.tinypic.com/2yzcyoo.jpg I've been looking at week 77, it seems like looots of people had played this track, most of entries between 80 and 90% accuracy, and 2-3 between 90 and 95%. The best entry was 95,55%, so I can be proud of myself ! waiting for other people to try it oh I know @, you seem to take the wrong link, use the one that finishes with .jpg, click "Image" in reply options, and paste it here

My mum says "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all", but I think the songs are shite this week… :p https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKTkRtMTlQcU5GTWc/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKWGVkR0Z0RGRSTVU/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B49Qq-EFnmrKRG94b2x1bEl2OG8/view?usp=sharing I did try to play the Sheela me-do-dah song properly, hence the shite score. It sounded like random, but kind of in-time, noise. In other news, I did finally get my 99% on Hotel California. :)

  14. I played this a while ago with a slightly better score but now on playing it it feels odd... could be a wrist thing as I'm still in a bit of pain but it definitely became bewilderingly worse towards the end... Pink U + Ur Hand : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=753911807 No Adv or MC scores as yet, they're a little too hurty on my wrist so I'll give it a few days as I can't get to the walk-in centre to have it checked over until Tuesday :( <3 PJ. Harvey... not too keen on Metallica's anesthesia, I couldn't play it at all the last time and I tried a little before and omg I'm horrible at it :D

  16. another GOOD song!! but way too many unkown chords for me and my hand hurts after one try. I'm trying to get into inter lead but I seem to be struggling, my level is probably a 3 on lead and maybe a 4 on the rhythm.

  17. I made that Shawn Lane custom and the cause in that case (and probably many other cases) was having notes marked as 'ignore'. Such notes don't affect your accuracy even if you miss them, but caused a discrepancy between mastery and accuracy. There was a fix for it in the toolkit a little while ago.

  18. Both guitar paths are harder than expected, so dif +1 http://up.picr.de/26637275ya.jpg Lead is harder to play but the note recognition seems better http://up.picr.de/26637276ug.jpg I'll also try Rush lead and Clutch rhythm, maybe we should swap Int and Adv these paths...

  19. well, I've been practicing Anesthesia for a few... hours.... and I have LOTS. of PROBLEMS. with note recognition system. misses everywhere, for no reason. And the second part of the song is tough, because of lots of bendings (how is it even possible ? He does a 1 step bend on the 5th fret of the D string, releases, bends again, releases, bends again, releases ? can you guys do such a thing ?), free time shredding (I hate learning free time shredding sections, can't work it with a metronome, no precision). and I feel like the cdlc is not well timed during some sections of the 2nd part... and I just don't get why I see tapping, I don't hear tapping, why tapping, f*** tapping. free time tapping in addition. s**t. ok I stop hating and I get back to work  at least we won't have to fight for best streak at like 99,92% accuracy but hey cool there's a Rush song ! And it's lifeson's birthday today

  28. Although I'm a die-hard Police fan, I'm not going to get too excited about covering all the live tracks. I may do some of the first CD of Live! and there are a couple from Certifiable (Invisible Sun, Next To You) that I'll have a crack at. I'd like to get the album tracks and b-sides completed so I'll be focusing on them in the coming days/weeks/months...

  33. this week we have an easy Beginner song in all paths with Pink The PJ Harvey track is intermediate for guitars, the rhythm is the same than the lead track, but easier and with capo like originally played with more open chords, the bass there is not very hard but with slap technic, so I rated it with 7 as advanced. The Rush guitar (lead) I decided for advanced, since it's a bit harder than PJ Harvey, many barre chords and solo. Now the MC lead song is Clutch, not very very hard but a custom tuning with finger picking, if you wanna play this with plec it'll be much harder. But since it's not that easy I gave it a 9. The Clutch rhythm path is much easier, but a bit harder than PJ Harvey, so it's advanced. The Clutch bass is much too short, we'd have to wait the most time to play abou a minute or so, then I had to pick another bass, and I chose a real hard one from the bass only list we played already at week 77, long enough ago I think let's go

  35. Two years ago, I wanted a new hobby, so I thought I would try out playing an electric guitar. So, on Memorial Day weekend of 2014, I bought a cheap guitar and a practice amp. The only thing I knew about guitars were they had strings. I practiced finger and strumming exercises for two weeks, and then bought RS1 and Rocksmith 2014. Two years and 2300 hours playing Rocksmith 2014 later, I don't use DD at all. (Well, 2211 in RS2014, and 84 in RS1) However, it was invaluable when I was a totally new player. As someone mentioned earlier, if I had been required to learn everything at 100% difficulty, and 1% speed, I would have quit in no time, as I would have been bored to tears. It would have been more akin to work, than fun. As it was, all those hours playing didn't even feel like practice, though that is exactly what it was. New players need that, unless they have the willingness and drive to be the best on guitar; in which case they would be taking lessons, and studying theory, not playing Rocksmith 2014. I can count on both hands, with fingers left over, the number of songs I have actually used Riff Repeater to slow down and learn parts. Out of 400 or 500 songs that I have, I can hit 90% or better on 75% of them, and 80% or better on 15% of those. The only ones that give me trouble are fast or complicated solos, and arpeggios. Again, only because I was too lazy to slow it down and learn it. Oh, and apparently Rocksmith refuses to recognize the way I do bends. Multiple computers, multiple cables, multiple guitars (3 I play, 1 right handed one for friends, and 1 bass), and I can just go ahead and count on it not recognizing any bends I play, although they sound fine to the ear. However, with all that being said, I am VERY glad that we will soon have the option to turn off DD. I hate having to go back into Riff Repeater and level a section back to max whenever I decide that a sip of beer is more enticing than nailing that particular section. (As I said, it's a hobby, I'm not trying to get into a band.) :D

  37. Hi Draxxus, I am not aware of any tutorials on this. After all it's quite easy, but you have to know what to do :-) You have to be familiar with the process of creating CDLC, though. Even though there is also the "unpacker" in the Toolkit, I would give you the following advice: In the Toolkit (Tab "Creator"), hit the "Import Package" button. This will load everything into the Toolkit and now you could already alter stuff like tones, volume, CDLC name and just have to hit "Generate" to get the updated CDLC. If you want to edit the project in EOF, go to the folder "EOF" that was created. You won't find a ready-to-use .eof file there, but you can use those files to start a new project. Load the .ogg into a new EOF-project and then import the xml files from the same folder with "Rocksmith Import" (Watch out for what PC Plum said.. didn't know that) BAM! Now you have the complete project to manipulate as you like If you update the xmls in the EOF folder with the xmls that are produced when you hit save in EOF, then you just have to hit "Generate" in the toolkit to create the new CDLC(0.) When the original CDLC contained Dynamic Difficulty, I sometimes experienced weird things in EOF with imported projects. E.g. the highest difficulty didn't contain all the notes, but they were instead split among the difficulty levels... It will help to remove DD with the DDC in the Toolkit, before you import (step 1) it. Keep in mind: Before thinking about altering the original authors work, leave a comment for him and ask him to improve his CDLC himself. Give him as detailed feedback/advice as possible. And have some patience.Of course, never upload your edited work as a new entry and claim it is you own.If you feel like your changes turned out really good though, show it to the original author and ask him if he wants to publish your updated version (so the rest of the community can benefit from your work, too)I have done the last thing myself (I added vocals to a CDLC and gave the new file to the charter). I have also completely recreated an existing CDLC, because I knew the creator couldn't work on his version anymore and was ok with it. Nevertheless I think it's quite a pain when different versions of the same song appear in the search and not even reading the details/comments gives you an idea why someone had to make a second one and which is better. All in all: Handle this with care ;-) Regards, Azrael
