  8. Belated birthday wishe's fripples ! No score updates for me. Work took over and now the kids are monopolising my time (which is much more funner ) so we're off out for the day to watch some live music at the park, eat ice creams, play on the beach and go watch a movie... maybe I might treat them to a meal out too. It was a toss up between new strings for my bass and new running shoes, or, all of the above. I hope I chose wisely :) May the best win... see you all post 8pm :)

  9. Great oportunity for everyone to know about Soda Stereo. One of the best latinamerican bands of the history. I've really enjoyed doing this custom. Cirque du soleil is gonna make a show in honor to this band. Unbelievable! Hope you like and enjoy this song like i do. Cheers from Argentina! And of course:

  11. We didn't had much time this week, but surprisingly song selection went smooth. So what we have? Simple Minds - lead is easy and repetitive but it didn't bored me  Rhythm is very fun though, you should like :) Opeth - 1st time I hear Opeth  Lead is more like last weeks one but easier. Once again rhythm steals the show on guitar. I like it. Alannah Myles - Great song full of tasty riffs all over the place. Tuning to Eb is worth it. Soda Stereo - Some arpeggios with solo at the end, nice song :) And basses: Simple Minds is pretty straithforward with triplets that will require some speed but it's clear beginner. Funny things happen later as I rated all three Opeth, Alannah and Soda as 5, so here you should shine and decide what you think is trickier. Maybe Black Velvet has more string skipping but Opeth has some fast hopo's, so I dunno  Nonetheless both are very fun ^_^ Sad that my bass is playing tricks on me :(

Yellowcard did a cover for the song. Here it is: Yellowcard - Don't You (Forget About Me) The cover was performed on MTV Movie Awards 2005. Actually I first heard this song as a cover by Yellowcard. 28. @@Vodka you still have a day left. When I was registering bad notes I found that if you detune the E, A, and D string slightly you get better recognition. I think my notes were -14 before the center ( when you pause a song the notes can seen on the bottom left of the screen) -------------x-------E------------------- About here I think, but I guess it all depends how hard/ soft you hit the strings. I also found that if I didn't press too hard on the frets I got a better score, I know I press too hard towards the end of a song as I get a bit carried away. So bugger all got done last week, 2 birthdays, work, school sports day, party, breaking up for the summer holidays and another party today, Madonna had made me truly blue because my first attempt was my best score and I just can't seem to get my plucking hand working properly... either my thumb's grown and inch or my plucking fingers have shrunk and for some reason my hand keeps falling off my rest spot (wish I could float pluck like Victor W :( .) Anyhoo, some score's minus RHCP because I can't figure out what's going on with the chords even when I pause the screen in RR... there is a pale purple hue around the notes it's really off putting and I can't figure out if the bracketed notes are the same fret or open string, mostly that purple hue is really messing with my rubbish eyes... I've not seen the purpley colour before in-game, does it mean something? Am I ill? My first born's pet name, (mainly because his little bruv' couldn't pronounce Hugo :D ) Go-go's : http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=730266219 My second born's name, Bob: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=730266267...it's like it was meant to be! :) No weird coinkydinks here, pants performance from me though... Diarrhoea (I was very shit) Straits: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=730266177 MC: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=730266318 Fun but really frickin' hard for me to play in my current state. I've hit a wall which I think is why I'm struggling even with easy tracks. I need to snap out of it soon but I dunno if a rest will do me any good or just to plough on through the horrible habits I seem to have picked up. I have no idea why my hand positioning feels so strange  Edited: sucking at pasting the correct links.... or even copying different ones

  47. I found a cool website which has a lot of backing tracks of many songs, some of them have everything except vocals/lead/rhythm and most have vocals but not lead or rhythm. I think it would be nice to play a cdlc where you only hear your guitar play the part instead of the songs guitars. http://www.guitarbackingtrack.com
