Personally I don't feel it's that hard but lately, have been noticing some changes to how I play and what's retained in way of memorising some phrases and how my fingers are more responsive when sight reading... 3 months ago I wouldn't have even tried to play this with all the slides and hammer ons, but I guess I've made some steps in progressing technique. The tune itself is easy, I'd reluctantly put this as a very low advanced song or even just a high intermediate... the melody is nice, the techniques make it fun and challenging to a degree but grading it I'm at an impasse. So I'll give it a made up number "Sixeveight" which symbol looks like a curly poo with a fly on top.

@@pokerbarlo I still need accuracy and streak :P Beg/Int Lead - 94%, 128 streak I was a little dissapointed with that performance, lots of silly misses. Intermediate Lead - 93%, 141 streak I'll try to get in TOP3 with that song, but I won't be going for a win. Lot's of funnier songs out there :P Advanced Rhythm - 96%, 189 streak It's long and it's tricky on that palm-muting. Intermediate Rhythm - 87.95%, 43 streak And I played Simon & Garfunkel more then Metallica today, world is going crazy :wacko: Fun to play.

I finally made it through Rudy Can't Fail on lead without getting leveled down on the sections where the bar chord slides into F#m. I'll take the 77% as a good result for now and try to improve tomorrow. Oddly enough, my number of misses doesn't drop by too much when I slow it down in RR. Regardless of the cause, the solution is practice.

Orion Bass That was exhausting... I should play more bass

I just scored 96.8 something percent on Orion but forgot to take a screenshot. The good news is that I hadn't yet practiced the solo, and judging by the two strikes I got, I should be able to improve there. Hopefully I'll be back in like half an hour with some good news. Then again, posting this might scare @@then3verend, which would be kind of counter-productive. Edit: I am a double dumbass tonight, I guess that happens when I'm tired. I again forgot to take a screenshot, but at least got a vid of the second half. The video is posted below, but the important numbers are Accuracy: 97.67% Streak: 486 Score: 1,117,219 Some ridiculously bonehead misses at times, and I still know I can do better on the solo with more practice (for some reason I can't wrap my head around the triads and such section of the solo at the moment), but I'm definitely happy with that. P.S. be sure to look out for me failing to find the third fret for close to a full second shortly after the solo :D.

Okay, I'm finally starting to get this song to come out of my guitar somewhat like it does in the track! After 10 minutes in RR, I've got the hand positions down, but what makes this song tricky is the inconsistent picking patterns that never quite repeat twice. Rudy Can't Fail seems a little tough for beginners lead with the sliding barcords and frequent changes in position on the neck.
