Rocksmith 2014 Championship Week 514

On the A Lifetime of War, is this part really how it's supposed to be played?? Doesn't make much sense too me and looks too technical as well. 
I looked at all kinds of covers where I've never seen a tap once, nor any big reaches like that and in the few live versions I was able to find I've never seen the guitar play this part

Trying intermediate since it was lower rated, and I was too lazy to retune my guitar. When I first heard this, I was like man whoever wrote this totally copied Runescape. Low and behold! It was actually fun to play with the string crossings/alternate picking, something I'm very bad at. I see you fellow Runescape fan. That game had a grip on my middle school experience. Now I just watch people play on youtube every now and then so I can spend my freetime practicing guitar instead of grinding

Not my favorite Sabaton song, but ok. I agree with @ BubbleWrapDragon  that the chart is weird and uncomfortable to play in one part.

WEEK 514 YEAAHHHH!!!!   Excited to join again the World Wide Championship!

It is the second time I have been promoted to masterclass in bass, so I will accept the challenge!!!

I will enjoy the flavor of last week's win in advance bass, because I won't be able to win from now on in two or three years, I think....

Besides that, I don't feel I am in masterclass, since I suck at slapping! I barely can do level two of this:

Anyway... 

 

I am happy that my first MC Bass challenge is a Muse song, which I am a big fan of. 

I practiced for a while and was surprised to get more than 90%, even though the excecution was a bit mediocre... Will keep trying!!!

Nice game song! Reminds me of Zelda or something. And I just like playing arpeggios with bass. I had a classic guitar teacher loooong time ago, so I like playing arpeggios with three fingers in the right hand, even in bass. This is not so difficult but the arpeggios in the high frets are a bit of a challenge.

very cool album, very hard parts also, i am not unhappy with 84 on that sightread with all the arpeggios, uncommon chords and the hard solo parts (8.5)
