so let's revere him by playing one of his songs.

Completed. The Stray Cat Strut is reworked and rehosted now. It was much more work than expected, but finally finished. All changes I've done are on the record page in the comments.

No GoG and no Da Capo this week, let's play some Prince instead.

Also we have a little exception with the Advanced Lead with Classico  which has only one section but also is a very short song about one minute. Maybe, if we are lucky the charter changes this, but if not it is better than no Adv Lead this week I think.

Haven't played guitar or rocksmith for a week due to sickness. When I eventually started up the game I got this error message. I can still play the game, but I have to make a new account etc. each time I start the game. I have tried to verify game cache, but with no success.

Edit: Never mind guys. I moved the game from HDD to SSD and it miraculously worked

Uhm, is it me? I don't see anything for advanced bass, only a number. It looks like stay cat strut, though.

Yup,  Stray Cat Strut (my selection, thank you very much)  It seems easy to me because I've played it 99 times - 100%

 

Before that I tried Little Red Corvette on bass.  I haven't got the slides or that flourish up by the 10th fret yet,but I still only scored 88%.  There were a lot of "late" notes where I believe that I'm on the beat.  Is anyone else having synch issues on the bass?  It could just be me.

I tried Stray Cat Strut - I like the song quite a bit. Like @@then3verend says, the file's not great, yeah - but I don't think it's unplayable, or that it would take too much work to fix.

Am i the only one that think the beginner song is a bit to fast for beginners?  There where no way i could keep up with those single notes without a bunch of RRing.

Classico is great.  Its not a big deal that its only 1 section.  The song is short and filled with notes, also, for me at lest the hardest place is the beginning. I cant pingerpick to save my life.

Great chord recognition, and great phrase lengths, some of the best i've ever seen

hope the organizers can continue picking great quality songs like this every week

 

it is in your option to test any cdlc from the SSL. Yes, the sync isn't well in this one, but after testing about 10! customs from SSL the whole day, every arrangement, you would be ok with this since the chart seemed ok. And we don't just pick what we like, we take what Random.org gives us and then always testing it for diff and issues. It's lot of work

I hope it works... since hours I'm fixing the beat map, sync and then notes and chords for the stray cats strut. It was written in straight eight, no shuffle/swing feel, or maybe just created with an old EOF version which didn't support shuffle. If I ever start I find more and more to fix. Then I was finished with the guitar and just wanted to sync the bass and found many notes to change :rolleyes: . One more short rest and I'll continue till end, and hope I can easily repack or recreate.
