Wasn't there for a while, and figured out that i missed Sultan of Swing last week :(

Good news is This week's Mary Jane is even better :)

I remember me saying the first time i played it: "That is such a wonderful song, I don't care if i have to play it 50 times, but i want to be able to play it."

And here we go, I just played it the 50th time right now. :D

Seeing the other scores ashamed me a bit though

Well I always just enjoyed it and played trough, guess that's the chance now to finally cram RR and get it over 90 :)

@ Im not noticed. Which is the number section in RR with wrong notes?

That part in the middle of the song

http://s7.directupload.net/images/140918/qwa9g6vv.jpg

instead E string 6th fret should be 5th fret (A) or better HO 3 to 5 (G-A)

It's the 7th section in RR if you count the tiny one

I have new story in my life. My string just snapped for the first time. That's interesting experience, you're struming like mad, bzdt, and you're calm, laughing. That was while strumming D chord, the G string. They had almost one year, so no doubt they wanted to snap.

So as I'm here what strings you, metal fans, are using?

edit: Leaderboard updated.

Songs and scores, please. As I won't be able to help you with guitar for a while, so fill it!

@@Mortalo Back in the day when I was attempting to learn electric guitar I used Ernie Balls nickel bound 2233's. They were nice under finger pad, pliable and good for metal tunings... but then I was 16 at the time and something uber modern might've been invented since

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remembered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.

@@Mortalo I too using Ernie ball for 2 guitars. Try a lot other like Elixir (Nanoweb), Dunlop, D`Addario and stayed with Ernie. They keep intonation and tuning long time. Enough smooth for fingers, especially if to use lemon oil (special recipe for strings). Very unlike Elixir nanoweb, after a few weeks look like hemp rope, and deaf sounds. For gibson guitar i made mix of 2 packs a strings (Gibson), custom  gage.

I've tried loads but will likely stick to Elixir strings, they're the only ones to stay clean after three days of playing. I make sure to clean my hands before each play but they get dirty really quickly so it's coated strings only for me in the future.

I got another 99.57% on End of the Line, with a lower score...

Gonna play until my arms to jelly, see if I can push that up a bit more.  :)

Bigtime /grovel to your 99.76 @ -- that's awesome!  I think you might be safely out of my reach, but I'll see what I can muster in response.

Ill play the songs in 12ish hours from this post. I couldn't find the time before, hopefully it will still count.

I've been playing my lovely Epiphone Les Paul Jr. (yes, the bundle guitar) since December of 2013. So far I've been more than enjoying the ride and i love playing.

If you're reading this and you make custom DLC, thank you as i enjoy getting CDLC!

No offence to the song selector, but this just isn't my type of music. With some more RR i'm sure i could improve on this song, but i'm just not into it.

This song has however highlighted my crappy chord changes. I've spent most of the week playing "American Pie" which has helped a lot. I still seem to struggle with the C chord though......

Anyhow:
