So thats as far as i can get ...

blacksun%20l12.jpg?psid=1

... because of that odd slides arrrrrgggghhhhh

only those not counted (non mised for sure) and 2 or 3 random misses....

has anybody else that problem - as stated above in RR 0% misses there, none counted in game (!)...

i even changed strings to thiker size for that...

And now even the win screencapture died :)

Anyhow - the thing that should not be :)

Gonna try to exit beginners lead the next weeks - probably with less challenging songs :(

@@Rodman you did really well. Your score is quite impressive, no doubt you'll jump to Int, if you will have enough time :)

Ok, because of poor results and overall lack of skill @NoonyDeloony gets downgraded to Advanced. She would be forever remembered as shameful person... and then she'll make another charming video and we'll forget about that.

@@Rodman nice one man, you've played that song more in one week than I've played any song in 8 months! I've not spent much time on it but I'd be extremely happy to get 98% on it!

Nice playthrough!

I've been trying to contend with the 99.x% crowd, but my scores are going down instead of up...  My best in Score Attack has been a 98.87%, can't even match the 99% I got in my first-ever play.  I might have time for a rest and another try, but doubtful that I'll give you leaders a run for your money this week...

/salute!

Check out my easy tutorial on how to add a metronome to your CDLC: Mute the original music, play only with the metronome and find out how good you really sound! Also: Find CDLCs that have the metronome enabled!

Want a USB-Footswitch that you can use to control the tone selection and all the menus in Rocksmith? Check out Rodman's Tutorial and my additions to that!  Footswitch_Logo.png

My CDLCs: Devin Townsend - Life, Deep Peace, Ih-Ah!, Deadhead; Farin Urlaub - Ok

My ideas for new features in Ignition, e.g. filters for Multitrack CDLC and Metronome CDLC.

Can totally relate to your struggle @@MilkmanDan. I'm still not happy with my ability to play the song, my fingers are stiff looking all the way through and stamina and timing going off here there and everywhere is still a big issue. I've not put any effort into practicing the DT track, despite it being one of my choices but it serves me right for choosing a song I like to listen to but I'd never actually played it :) Hope you do get a chance to repost a good score though MmD, for me though, I'm off out to see Guardians of the Galaxy so no more posts for this weeks challenge for me!

I don't know if this will work for bass players, although I think it should.    Several months ago I was practicing so many hours a day to try to master songs that I was causing damage to my tendons, causing swelling, itching and pain.  Not to mention I love playing guitar and I was literally afraid I would lose this valuable part of my life.

Two major parts of this issue were that:   a---   hitting the strings way too effing hard to fret a note... very easy habit to fall into.   especially if you've played acoustic guitar first.   Seriously, on my ESP Horizons, you can just look at the strings and a note will fret.

Bad habits...    b----  my fretting hand wasn't ever that limber and not that well co-ordinated with the picking hand, even when I was doing stretches.

From an efficiency point of view, my technique was sucking and holding me back.  My dreams of one day doing Gates and Petrucci and even Govan things flawlessly, are never going to be realized unless I back up and improve  my fundamental playing techniques.

I picked a key ---  A is one of my fav... I then learned several modes :  minor pent - aeolian - blues  patterns in 2 octaves  aka 24 frets .   you can jam with just about anyone with these modes  .   the premise is that once I master this key, then I will move onto others I like, such as C natural, E and G.

Lastly and most importantly, I warmup every day now by doing 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour of legato.  Sometimes, almost 2 hours.  Now, my only complaint after 4+ hours of practice, is that I can't go on ... but not because my hand is sore  .. my butt and back are.

I've been looking at the recent post on guitar chairs .. I've been using an expensive obus type chair without the arm rests on.. even so

That quicklok guitar chair  ---   would like to try one of them --   guitar stools are imo  -  pooh

That's excellent advice @@Kasnitch. I am guilty of being rather lazy and not warming up my hands before playing. My dexterity is lacking and that's my downfall, more practice of scales is definitely required. I have a great pdf of one in particular called "The Beast" by Josh Fossgreen, I really should open that up and play it as my warm up :)
