Norton reporting ignition as a dangerous site
Alex360 replied to lduperval's question in Rocksmith Remastered
I'd suggest hiding direct links to the exe files from ignition in future since AV take that personal, lol. even rscustom have issues with AV because we DL updates from internet :( -
Error when unpacking or using DDC
Alex360 replied to albatross213's topic in Rocksmith Custom Tool Kit (ARCHIVE)
Nothing wrong with wwise wem (and x64 of win32 isn't the issue here) file as I could say it's ok with ww2ogg and I guess it's more likely another part of toolkit, like ddc process also If you'd like to see what's wwise error is look for 2016 version(convert to wem by hands) which changed track granularity format(maybe not that much but still) and channel mask we should tweak now :( you forget to mention that it has Decode ogg checkbox set on. manual wem 2 ogg goes fine maybe it's thread safe issue, someone forgot to free resources for ww2ogg? I could investigate EDIT: LOL dat error -
@@firekorn, not a big deal we could go back in time with statically empty show lights and it's likely to make more mistakes by hands than with algorithm I all we need is figure out bug and write test so we won't get regression in future ez as abc but who cares anyway And thnx for the safe point so we could trace it faster with simple diff on those show lights anyway showlights just love to ctd ewerything if it'not initialized before 10 seconds may be the case with dad and all it should generate off reference track which is full arrangement but even then it should be validated for initial values venue fog color an stage lights color. It's simple just like that Gimme ideas for showlights and maybe we'll put edit form for them in blocklike style so you'll see your initial colors for lights and song's sections or phrases with key note +color suggestion based on rs default scheme for the lights, right? But I that requires more research than just fixing current generate function imo

root folder is usually where rocksmith.exe is, like in your steam library, exact default path would be like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rocksmith2014" gl hf

@@papillon, it seems we should have world wide licensing service instead of couple separate so that what you said is possible, maybe change some law's so it would be regulated that way, (highly unlikely if this brings no money to copyright holders, right? haha) I feel your pain tho -
@@PyroBillie, I'd rather go with splashy-fading effect for the backing lyrics (like those Perfect\miss hit indication in score attack does) but I have no source files to easily change stuff you can have 2 lyrics but you can't use them at the same time, because second one is for japanese version no really good solution I could imagine except ( the one we already have )

Close to making CDLC for Mac... small issue
Alex360 replied to I)ark_Seph's topic in Rocksmith Custom Tool Kit (ARCHIVE)
@, well that's not an easy task for me, I'm not sure we covered windows side without issues, not saying about *nix world which is different and it should be accounted and so on. wine is the way, since it gives me more stable output than mono 4.6 or 4.8 still gotta play around 5 version, but I doubt it will work ;) linux guys seems in game now, but with latency, according to that reddit post, sadly song manager made with wpf i guess or heavy abuse of win32 functions which is the cause for bad crossplatform support etc, someone should stick with java if he want real crossplatform support even tho it's slow like python sometimes :D -

@ I've got wineskinned fork of the toolkit with wwise in works, but wineskin env failing to build constantly and it's like +900 mb to DL but if wine is present you're able to run with mono conversion and so on Also re-generating now works fine and you can encode manually 64 128 256 sizes if you don't like wine... -

[Suggestion]Adding a rating system to ingnition songs
Alex360 replied to ruben11450's question in Rocksmith Remastered
You mean adding field for sorting by existing 5 star rating on cdlc section? it's right there at right upper corner of cdlc page, look closely to figure out rating it's simple and it's there already!
