If he is using Windows the latest installer does not require a oDLC. (Refer to your Nov 23 post.) Would need to verify as you said if the installer was run, and if it put the .dll in the main folder that has the rocksmith.exe, and that the cdlc was indeed put into the DLC folder.

311 Boom Shanka song contains a rhythm path but it was not used. I don't remember because I played this a long time ago, but perhaps because it is the same/similar to the lead path? Additionally, if it is as @ kayteck pointed out and the bass path in this song is in B-Standard tuning, I strongly suggest using another CDLC for intermediate bass and leaving this as a bonus. There are quite a few only bass CDLC on the selection list so there shouldn't be a problem with choosing. But in my opinion it would be best to use an additional CDLC containing rhythm and bass (without lead) in the intermediate class. There are a few on the selection list (e.g. Blur - The Universal, Foo Fighters - Floaty, Nirvana - Dive, Steve Miller Band - Serenade). @ Hughmonty @ Rodman

Ok, for starters, the enabler is an installer. You have to run that which will install the file that allows Rocksmith to run the cDLC.

There's some CDLC for earlier Messer Chups. Hula Tikula is fun to play, as is Cat Mobile and Padre Pizzicato. A lot is way too fast for me to play lead on, but Flash of the Night is pretty approachable.

@ GHST316 Did you run the installer? (I assume PC means Windows; the latest installer should take care of the various CPU configurations and doesn’t require rekeying to Cherub Rock. You *may* need at least one purchased DLC—I’m on Mac so @ Sniper Reload3d can maybe help here. Also, none of this will work unless it’s a purchased copy of RS (I mention it for completeness). HTH

This was awesome. I got it working. I actually needed to get the latest 64bit ffmpeg 6.1/ avformat-60.dll instead of the ffmpeg for audacity which only goes up to 50 right now. Had to run audacity and administrator as well. I can hear the bass parts in Plini crystal clear so thats very very very nice. I think I might even do this for instrumental versions and jam track stuff. I am very impressed with it. Definitely is going to help me tab out some hard to hear parts but yeah it does kinda fail on 70's and older distorted bass haha.

You guys do a great job and are all ready doing enough. I thought It was up to everyone to check that their own scores have been Inputted and Inform If not.

@ Hughmonty It's good that you did a week after such a long break, but I see a few things to fix/update. Some scores are missing from the previous week's leaderboard, making the winners list inaccurate. For example scores of BottledPat and LuZifer are missing, and maybe some more. It's recognition's fault as usual. @ kayteck or @ avastreg please check this out. Incorrectly entered people suggesting songs selected this week. I did not suggest Steel Panther song (suggested by nlbsmglsk). I suggested Marrilion song. Additionally, when suggesting a Marillion song, I added a note that for bass I recommend another CDLC of this song (bass only). Just checked on Amazon and god, 100US$ excluding shipping is kind of expensive and entirely not worth it. The pirated version I have has every single DLC so I guess I can just play them. I probably won't be paying 100$ for the game just for CDLC, I already spent 30$ on a cable

New year, ay.... didn´t find the proper time so far to think about that. But now sunday morning coffee Oh boy, what a great year for the Championships!!! There have been hundrets of hours thinking about how to improve the system to make everything easier and faster for week organisers and also and that was my dream for the last 10 years - AUTORECOGNITION OF POSTED SCORES - which has come to life with a OCR / AI routine. Just insane. I wish to thank @ avastreg who implemented that routine and even takes the costs of the service alone. Great great work!!! Thx! @ kayteck - our main coder of all the scripts ... that year he completely reworked Song Selection list has brought up selection scripts with a quality i have never seen in any way on google sheets or alike, managed to update the Songs Played List with all the song links, even did LINK VALIDATION (!), he redid the leaderboard in great parts and we even got a Player List with auto-upleveling detection. Basically all my ideas and way more have been implemented. When there is a bug - he is always there and on it. THX SO MUCH!!!! Thx also to @ nlbsmglsk who also worked hard on those improvements and also helped massively by setting up many many weeks! Thx @ aNDESmASAMUNE and @ woodyNL who have joined the week creator team that year!!!!!! Great!!! @ jellisjenius - Hey man! Any chance you find a few hours from time to time next year!? Ok, no worries. Let’s take it one step at a time. 1. Start with a fresh, clean RS u der Steam. Get rid of the thing and re-download through Steam. We want to get rid of any invisible hiccups. 2. Make sure RS runs normally. 3. IF it does, run the latest installer for PC. If you get any guff about viruses you’ll just have to swallow hard and go ahead. (If you can’t proceed at this point, let us know. 4. Repeat step 2. If you get past step 4 we’ll worry about CDLC next. Sorry about the pedantry, but it’s the best road to success….
