Back into the swing of things. I can tell I've lost some skills unfortunately. Ok I might be the only one, but as much as I love listening to PF and this song, I thought it was super boring to play. Also RS wasn't registering the little solo bits correctly even when I had them slowly on lock, so I just got bored of it. This will prob be my only entry since I'm just too bored to try to get better at it.

Some Lead scores I don't remember the last time we played a PF song in the championship, which is my all-time fav band, but many of their songs (especially the ones I like the most) do not meet the championship criteria well (too long, too many empty spaces in the chart, etc.). This ballad is perfect for beginners. I've played this many times since I started playing RS and now is the first time I've achieved 99+. Really nice! This song I last played ages ago. I must admit that it is not that easy considering the solo and this is definitely not a 4. For me 5.5. One of The Who better songs. I remember we played this in the championship again (in week 395). @ Rodman , you changed CDLC version in the link to the one from week 395, but remember that for this version difficulty rating were different and the rhythm path was for masterclass (8).

Yes the key was accepted and its in there.

I just put the key into steam and it is now in my account. Unfortunately I don’t have a pc right now and I can’t go any farther.

I’ll let everyone know when I try it. It should be here soon. I purchased it on ebay and can return it. I have seen amazon reviews that the keys have already been used on “new” copies. Unbelievable , it looks like someone on ebay has sold a 100 steam keys for $450, a 40 k profit on Rocksmith 2014. The link in Snipers post showed someone did have success getting the hard copy key on to steam so it should work. Thanks for the help. I just received it but its a UK version. We will see how this works out.

It would be great once @ aquavelva23 and @ James7777 does receive their copies to reply back with success or failure to let us know, but I am fairly certain it will still work. Hi all, and thanks for hosting championship! This song was longer than I remembered! Guess I felt it when playing. It's a classic though and it has some new challenges for me. Need to riff repeat it quite a bit and hopefully score will improve!

This song has an easy chord progression, but if they ask it to recreate it exactly how it was played, suddenly it becomes a bit difficult...

New year, ay.... didn´t find the proper time so far to think about that. But now sunday morning coffee Oh boy, what a great year for the Championships!!! There have been hundrets of hours thinking about how to improve the system to make everything easier and faster for week organisers and also and that was my dream for the last 10 years - AUTORECOGNITION OF POSTED SCORES - which has come to life with a OCR / AI routine. Just insane. I wish to thank @ avastreg who implemented that routine and even takes the costs of the service alone. Great great work!!! Thx! @ kayteck - our main coder of all the scripts ... that year he completely reworked Song Selection list has brought up selection scripts with a quality i have never seen in any way on google sheets or alike, managed to update the Songs Played List with all the song links, even did LINK VALIDATION (!), he redid the leaderboard in great parts and we even got a Player List with auto-upleveling detection. Basically all my ideas and way more have been implemented. When there is a bug - he is always there and on it. THX SO MUCH!!!! Thx also to @ nlbsmglsk who also worked hard on those improvements and also helped massively by setting up many many weeks! Thx @ aNDESmASAMUNE and @ woodyNL who have joined the week creator team that year!!!!!! Great!!! @ jellisjenius - Hey man! Any chance you find a few hours from time to time next year!? We have come a long way baby, - what a blast!!!! Personally... a good good year on guitar and bass, moved up to MC on Rhy and Bass which was about time and the new classes do feel exactly right. There is a lot of competition everywhere which is the most important thing for my motivation which is still so high i wanna compete every day after 10 years. Sadly there have been quite some weeks i had only one session with around one hour on every class or even only sightreads on certain songs due to a lot of work in RL. I am hoping to gain back 1 hour per day on the competition, fingers crossed. And i am hoping me manage to have a multiplayer session each and every week with my dear friend @ emu again in 2024. One last go for the bois then, no warmup either. Lots of shifting up and down on this, feel like it could be transposed to be a bit easier maybe? The irony in the fact they state the existence of their tools for blocking artists you don't want to see/play at the bottom of their update is hilarious. The existence of these tools should remove the need for this kind of mass deletion in the first place. They could easily tag these artists and hide them by default using this system instead of removing them altogether and create a global blacklist of TOS songs for streamers to ignore. They have backups of the database and could restore all these songs at any time they wish (like the time they banned a user and accidentally removed all 1000~ songs they had in his collection). It's good to see you again, I remember that you were one of the championship organizers when I joined them in 2020. Then after a few months or a year you disappeared. Are you saying you live on Ascension Island? An interesting place to live in the middle of the ocean, but is there anything you can do there for a long time apart from tourism?

Ah, another year is over! It's a good thing I didn't win all the paths in the advanced class again like last year, because it was getting a bit boring. Also, I don't think I would be the best participant, the key is just to be regular. So congratulations to @ LuZifeR for being regular enough and deservedly winning in the lead path. In the bass path @ jellisjenius probably would have won if he hadn't withdrawn from the championship at some point. By the way, I wonder where @ coldrampage has gone. He has been very active for as long as I remember, he was also a moderator, and he has not logged in since September 29. Really strange.

You may don't know but... 2023 was the first Eurovision we could vote from outside Europe (or Australia) and in my family we all voted for this song!!! This song came first in the televotes, but the judge choosed another song as the winner.... Anyway, I got to know (and play) a cool song from Finland! I find it very cool Depeche Mode is still releasing albums and creating music. In the other hand, I don't like the topic of the lyrics of becoming "ghost again", like they are preparing for dead or something ...

In case I forgot to say it... HAPPY NEW YEAR 2024 EVERYONE!!! Finally I came back from the news years little family trip, and I am ready to rock! So here we go!!! --- I included this Rolling Stone's song just for the sake of including their lastest album (which didn't know it was released until I started to select songs from this week!) I find this QoSA song pretty difficult. Maybe I am a bit drunk! I like it more after playing it, and find it very creative too! At this point, my bass started to fail... I was going to dedicate this nigh to reach a decent score in masterclass bass (kura Kura) but I think I need to fix the pots in my bass... unfortunately that is pretty expensive in Japan!!

Hi all, happy new year! Been a little while since I posted last time. I've been thinking of the championship while I was gone and busy with exams and life. I will be moving far away soon and won't be able to bring my guitar, but I'm planning on buying another one there. And hopefully play and post more! Int lead: wanted to play this because I like other songs from QOTSA. This one was chill as well. Slides and bends bring the acc down. Sightread: Adv lead: This one was really fun to play! Perfect difficulty. Need to focus throughout, there's several things to work on. Solo is playable but some parts are too fast for me at the moment. But I'm happy with my progress last year and that it's kinda playable!
