Very minor improvement on this one: And then I was looking my play count; it was the second highest, dwarfing Batman, now at number three (21 plays). My highest is Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers which I played a lot early on, and has a play count of 80. It's also the only song I've been able to play outside the game (or at least, without the note highway). So I figured, maybe I should give master mode a try with this one. Don't know if this counts as an entry, but... Suck it, Note Highway! I don't need you anymore!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Fortunately I had a bit of luck myself, tonight. Tried to top that score a few more times, but unsurprisingly I couldn't do it. Switched to Gorillaz and made a nice improvement over my previous score. Missed the initial result screen, but here's the score:

Nooo! Here I was thinking I was gonna win this week, and then you pull this out. And I got a blister earlier from playing that Gorillaz song, so I can't even attempt to beat it. edit: Actually, the blister's low enough on my finger that I can probably still play okay. I doubt I'll beat it, but I'm gonna try.

Nope, not at all, totally magnanimous. I appreciate it, and I'm glad we got that sorted out. --------- Tried so hard to beat the top score on this one, but no luck. My play count is up to 20 at this point, but my best score so far was on number twelve: Broke it up in the middle with a few Gorillaz attempts. Never played a song with bends before, I tried the first day to play it with bends, and while I started doing okay eventually, there's no way I'm getting all the way through with 100% playing bends. Tried slides today. I did get 100% doing that, but they mostly registered as "late", so the score's probably not so good. I could only play it a few times, though, as I've really been slipping in previous weeks and only playing roughly every four or five days. So the nice callus I had developed on my left index finger is like, 80% gone now. Maybe I should go play some Ninja Slide-N to get it built up again.

Ah, get well soon, man. I'm currently totally tiring myself out on Tubular Bells and War of the Worlds - 'cos I know I won't be able to play tomorrow, and I just know I can't do much more on Intervals after only playing it once before in the week.

@acrox999 Did Avira prevent you from downloading "CFSMSetup.rar"? Now you still need to add CFSMSetup.exe and CustomsForgeSongManager.exe to Avira's list of approved apps. There is no virus. Your Avira is just being a bugger.

@@Tonedef bass is a tough one, since many bands simply don't care about bass and have painfully simple lines. We ussually try to stay with 4 lines that we've got and place them how it makes the most sense (which makes 3s on Intermediate or 4/5 on Advanced many times). Though sometimes we have to add another bass line (like this week's Tragically Hip). We might try to keep bass in a class and avoid as much as we can not to do it that way and have more weeks with additional lines. About leveling up - it's always your upper class limit (3 for Beg, 5 for Int, 7 for Adv) and score above 99% for guitar or 99.5% for bass. + if anyone wants to level up - just ask and we'll do it :) You can work on other songs if week does not satisfies you and decide that you can go up and you'll go. But you're waitng for more songs of that upper limit... that's not gonna happen. If weekly choices don't have one, it is what it is. You always can try Blues Exercises (check my signature) and post their scores.

Nope, not at all, totally magnanimous. I appreciate it, and I'm glad we got that sorted out. --------- Tried so hard to beat the top score on this one, but no luck. My play count is up to 20 at this point, but my best score so far was on number twelve: I was lucky to get that score. It is scrolling by so fast that is memorizing. I would literally get lost in the scroll and miss a fret change. Its like highway blindness when you drive for awhile a kinda forget the last few miles.

Yeah, you're probably right, perhaps I was reading something into that comment that wasn't intended. In truth, I had thought about it later and hoped to edit the passive aggressive bit out, because even if it had been meant as such, calling attention to it probably wasn't necessary, and wouldn't lead to anything positive. I didn't see that as passive aggressive at all. Quite the opposite in fact. I have 570 hours on Rocksmith in the 4 years I have been playing and i have been getting lessons for the last few months. Most of that was lead and bass is a different animal but you have been playing 3 months and the 5 weeks you have been here, you have beaten my score 3 times! You have beaten Tupoloflyer every week except last. Your batting over .500 and are going to overtake me on the leader board before long. I would say for 3 months playing you have something I am trying really hard to get down. Playing a consistent (tupo's word used correctly as I think he meant it) tempo at whatever BPM the song is. It shows in the scores when we are fighting for top scores @ 100%. That is all precision and possibly a little luck. I think you are selling yourself short.
